Hah, LoL won't even last 20 more years.

Yea, I'm thinking roughly 5.
People want the wrong things.
I don't want the same thing I have fond memories of doing when I was little. Because chances are that my view of it is clouded in the thick mist of nostalgia. I just want good things. |

I'm pretty sure it'll last longer than that. It won't be mainstream for so long, but it won't disappear so soon.

Well, yea. It'll disappear from the radar in 5 years, but it won't die completely until maybe 8 or 10 years from now.

I don't know, Searz. WoW's been out for 8 years (as of today) but is still going relatively strong and shows no signs of dying any time soon. Certainly it won't die in the next year or two.
Suffice to say that I don't think hugely popular internet games have been out long enough for us to really have a good idea of what the trends are. We might understand them better in twenty or thirty years.

My posts may be long. If this bothers you, don't read them. |

WoW will last 4 more years at most, after that Blizzard will pretty much pull the plug.
A game can stay online even with just a few thousand players. Even if WoW drops to 100k players that's still over 1 million dollars per month. |

They would have to block your IP from the servers for that
