in case you don't know usually there is the option for you to permanently deactivate the account. Usually when you're talking about deactivating the subscription you say "unsubscribe". My comment was not an attempt of a smart *** response, it simply makes no sense to deactivate the account when you can just unsubscribe.

Also, I think the levels of immorality in this thread are astounding. You'd really throw a child off a boat for your own luggage? Wow. MrCuddowls wrote:

Like most MMO's they default to recurring payments. It turns out they do still have the button int he account management to deactivate subscription, but I didn't look before I asked. So thanks for the smart *** response... they temporarily took it down the day before the free month for buying the game ended to try and force people to pay for a month. ![]() 'The problem with quotes on the internet is that it's hard to determine their legitimacy.' - Aristotle |

they removed the button that links to the page, not the actual page itself.
and then they deleted any thread where someone tried to post a direct link. same exact thing happened to warhammer online, when the freemonth from buying the game came out. warhammer online belongs to what company? ea. ![]() 'The problem with quotes on the internet is that it's hard to determine their legitimacy.' - Aristotle |

If a MMO offered you "end game" out of the box, then what's the point of playing? There's no motivation. No reason to play if all you're doing is creating a character, making em look cool, then running around all bad ***. That's essentially Prototype 2 (which I enjoyed) it's not an MMO but within the first hour of playing I already had a pair of abilities I thoroughly enjoyed and were effective for me killing enemies and completing missions, The reason I was urged on to continue playing was due to the story (not AMAZING by any means but enough to keep me enthralled). Actually, the thing that made me keep playing Prototype was that it was FUN to play. If I enjoy what I'm doing and it doesn't get repetitive then I don't really care about much else. Heck, that's why I play LoL, lol. OH NOES, GFWL! Hide yo hard drives, hide yo rams, hide yo internets cuz GFWL be climbin' in yo windows and snatchin' yo games up. |
