What I would have done is make it stretch towards the render. Of course make the render blend a bit into the background. How you do that is up to you though.

 This was 4...max 5. And again, a lot of smudging. **** doesn't have to be complex to be good!

It needs to be less blurry, not have a starker contrast between colors.
