so i just got zed like a few days ago... was wondering

if you got a DFG and used it right after your ult. would that take 30% health of your target by the end?

but if you had a DFG and a blade of the ruined king would that turn you into a counter to all the warmogs floating about?

That is so much redundant ap to build just for a percentage of hp active ability.
You would be much better off just building a The Bloodthirster with that kind of gold.

Mundo goes where he pleases.

And pleases, where he goes.

I've always wondered if Blade of the Ruined King was worth buying on most champs anyways.
I mean sure the active is worth a second glance but that's kind of it in my opinion.

Why get a ruined king on Zed? It's percent current health on each attack. And, when you ult, you're mainly going to WQE as opposed to an auto-attack.

DFG? Not so great either since you don't really have a lot of magic damage other than your passive, and if you get them to the point when your passive kicks in in your burst, you're probably going to kill them with the detonation of your ult anyway without DFG's extra damage.

hmmm... i get is from time to time as a late item if enemy team has a lot of warmogs - to be honest i think you might be right about its lack of effectiveness though.

Agree that the DFG is complete garbage on Zed. But you get the BotRK for 2 reasons. You're gonna end up ulting a carry at full health because Zed can. He can 100-0 most anyone who's not super tanky. You ult them , activate the BotRK, spam your abilities, and auto a few times. Also slows them. You could argue that you could just get a BT and the damage from the active would be made up with all the extra ad, but because you initiate while they're at full health it'll actually end up doing a decent amount of % health damage. It also has the instant lifesteal and a slow to make sure your enemy doesn't get away. The extra active is like an extra ability so when the extra damage from your ultimate hits its gg.
If you think I did a good job criticizing a guide or giving helpful info, or for just being a bawz of a bro, rep would be awesome :)

IMO BotRK should only be bought on Zed if you've got 3+ health on all your enemies. If not just go for the BT.
Thanks to FatelBlade, JEFFY40HANDS, Nyoike, TheNamelessBard, GrandmasterD, aviseras and koksei for the awesome signatures

If your not auto attacking your doing it wrong.

I never said you weren't attacking, I just said that you're probably going to WQE and that's going to take out a chunk of health before you even get an auto-attack in, making the BorK damage smaller, thus less important.
Sig courtesy of GrandmasterD. Go get your own sig from them. :D
