My thoughts on Frozen Mallet were this - The HP is helpful. It helps me survive being insta-gibbed like Ashe is prone too, and the HP is worth more as I build some MR and Armor later. I know that the slows stack weird and not very well, but it is a better slow (just not by too much). The extra AD helps with poke, too. I'll try to avoid Frozen Mallet in my next few games, though.
