Winkles, the Overtaken One.

Lore: Born in Bandle City, Winkles was a very intelligent yordle. Since he was born, Winkles was always attracted by magic. His dad knew some magic tricks, and Winkles learned them very fast. He was keen on magic stuff.

One day Winkles stayed alone at home, his parents went to some important confession. Suddenly he heard strange noises at backyard. When he came there, he saw something very weird: gigantic pentagram was laying at the ground and someone were constantly laughing like a mad man. Winkles shouted: “Who you are? Show your face!” The answer was “Well, if you really want...”

The pentagram started glowing red, strange runes appeared on it. And then HE appeared. All Winkles remembered was black, sharp fangs; evil laughter and eyes... Those red eyes. And then voice appeared in Winkles's head. He offered him a deal: magic powers for his soul. No one could imagine, how Winkles felt at that moment. His mind was corrupted by those evil forces. And he said: “Yes. I am accepting your deal.” Evil laughter was heard again and then Winkles began to feel something. Something inside of him. The Evil. Pure Evil.

When his parents came back home, they were shocked: there was BLOOD everywhere. Nobody have seen Winkles anymore...

But after 12 years a new champion arrived to the Fields of Justice, not like others. Everyone remembered that evil laughter once and forever. Beware, summoners! Winkles is BACK.

Kill 2: Yeah, yeah, now you are DEAD. HE is HAPPY! *laughter* (referring to demon, who controls him)

Death animation:

Winkles falls to the ground, laughing, runes appear around him, he screams and burn in hellish flames, leaving after death pile of ash.

Base stats:

Health: 342 (+64 per lvl)
Health regen: 7.4 (+0.73 per lvl)
Mana: 243 (+51 per lvl)
Mana regen: 8.5 (+0.51 per lvl)
Range: 150
Attack damage: 43 (+2.1 per lvl)
Attack speed: 0.64 (+2.4% per lvl)
Armor: 25 (+5 per lvl)
Magic res: 25
Mov. speed: 350

Abilities:

Passive. Evil Presence: Every enemy champion near Winkles have lowered magic resistance.
9\16\29. Range 300.

Active. Hellish Strike: Demonic Spirit overtakes Winkles, making him rush and deal 83\125\190\234\253 magic damage to enemy at the end. (0.4 AP scaling) Skillshot. Range 500. Cooldown 18\17\16\15\14 seconds. Costs 100\110\120\130\140 mana.

Explanation: I wanted to make Winkles some sort of melee mage, so the skill works like Hecarim's ulti, but lower radius (not range) and the damage is dealt only at the end of a skill (like Heca's circle at the end of his ulti) It's a skillshot with very low AoE, like Ziggs's Bouncing Bomb. Yes, you can rush over the walls with it.

Active. Corrupted Slash: Winkles making a slash with his dagger, dealing 75\142\185\210 magic damage (0.7 AP scaling), making target bleed and dealing 7\13\21 true damage per second over 3 seconds. Range 200. Cooldown 5.5\5\4\4.5\3 seconds. Costs 50\60\70\80\100 mana.

Active. Pentagram: Winkles creates a pentagram on ground for 5 seconds, that is dealing 71\144\253\259\314 magic damage per second (0.5 AP scaling), slowing enemies in it for 5%\10%\15%\20%\20%. Range 800. Wideness of pentagram is like Ziggs's Satchel Charge. Cooldown 20\17\15\13\13 seconds. Costs 100\130\140\150\165 mana.

Ultimate. Demonic Contract: Winkles is channeling for 1.5 seconds and gaining Demonic form for 10 seconds. It gives him 30\50\65 movement speed, 30\60\85 AP, 15\20\25% cooldown reduction, 13\18\20% Spell Vamp. Apparently, his ablities mana costs are 20\35\45% increased and after 10 seconds he gets back to normal form with lowered health (-10\25\35% HP) and lowered AP (-15\25\40% AP) for 5 seconds. Cooldown 180\150\120 seconds. Costs 180\200\250 mana.

Winkles appears as mysterious yordle in a red cape and red hoodie. The only thing we can see is his red eyes and white fangs. He carries a runic dagger in his hand.


Hey, thanks for reading! Might be you've seen this suggestion on official LoL forums. I am pretty sure that this champion need rebalancing. But keep in mind that the idea of it to be very squishy melee AP mage and bring some new gameplay to LoL midlane.

Champions don't really say anything when they kill a champion...
You could basically suicide with the ultimate xD
Your description of his look makes him a male red riding hood...
Oh, his Q (hellish strike) has a really short cooldown, with Ionian Boots of Lucidity you could spam it all day, making you rather...mobile. Maybe increase it around to LeBlanc's Distortion cooldown.
Looks like a scary champion by the way O.o

Yeah. The cooldown thingy was supposed to be long. I should probably make it longer. Thanks for the advice. And the main idea to make this character like the ultimate mobile nuker. He have very large mana costs and cooldowns. Also the debuff after ulti. But the MS is through the roof. Something risky and requring skill to play. But yeah. I will increase cooldowns on Q.

His Passive and W is like Fiddlestick's passive and Talon's W O.o

Might be. But the W is not ranged. It's like Poppy's Q. And passive works only in a smaaaaall range. I wanted to make range as KhaZix's Q. You know, like in melee range. To make it synergie with his melee combo. How much range do he have on it?
