Lee Sin is a very versitile champion, and can start with nearly anything. I prefer a
 Vampiric Scepter to build into my  Wriggle's Lantern, which I consider a must on any jungler because of it's ward and minion hits (Chance to hit a minion or monster for 500 dmg).

I'd say it's all about how frequent you gank, and at the level you begin ganking.

Doran's Blade seems to me to be a very good start for riven and lee sin. I am more of a fan of sustained jungling than all day ganking, but that's just a playstyle deal I think

As it's been mentioned, is good for
 Lee Sin and  Riven, yet it's kinda of a waste on leeYeah your lvl 2 gank will be strnger, but that is all that is to that, while on riven is probably the best option as her stacking doran's works amazing.

lul. Pretty much anything with an AD steroid or decent base AS or AS steroid can jungle with life steal quint/mastery/D blade now.
Poppy can full clear with it >:P It's easy jungle days.

Seems legit, but ATM jungle gives really little amount of gold, and buying Blade means losing much money you'd spend on advanced items.
Junglers who excel in early ganks(Riven, Lee Sin, maybe AD Shaco) will benefit from this item, but I really don't recommend it. OT: I had once used Doran's Ring to clear old jungle with Fiddle. It was good, but today I wouldn't repeat it. Quoted:

I find no problems with gold running doran's blade first. I usually aim for the expensive kit of IE, PD, LW also. I generally get enough for wriggles without ganks or lane farm within 7.5 minutes.
