if you want to play double AD, which is perfectly viable in this meta if you have the right jungler, then go for it. top 3 ADs top right now are probably kayle, ezreal, and graves. also when built properly ezreal is one of the best lategame carries right now imo, and he CAN stomp a lot of lanes top, the only champs that are really strong vs him are the ones that are good vs range and of course high burst casters, ie riven, lee, vlad, kennen, etc..
also ezreal is a really fun champ so that helps |

y well... I used to play varus and trist top.
Problem is that you need some1 that can actually tank sth. so you'll need a jungler like naut and an urgot on bot would be awesome it's not bad but you can't rly play it that often - even tho ez has arcane shift he can't escape that well I'd imagine any decent toplaner would stomp him with most champs: ire, riven, jax, kennen, lee gapclosing champs that is. And since most toplaners have a gapcloser it's kind of difficult - even tho you got the range advantage which makes lasthitting + harassing easier

Looky here, there is a word called GAP CLOSERS or two words...
 Ezreal wanted top and I was  Tryndamere. I said alright, I will bot with  Lux. We dominated bot lane and Ezreal went 1/10/2.CC Ezreal down once and/or silence him, he is dead.There is a reason why  Urgot is a good top. He is BULKY, HUGE LOCK ON RANGE, SLOWS, SHIELDS, AWESOME ULT, RIDICULOUS DAMAGE.

The reason Urgot wins top lanes is because landing E can cost your enemy the majority of their HP in damage. The shield and damage debuffer just make him even better in 1v1's.
Then to top it all off, his ulti makes him one of the best gank buddies ever.

urgot is just too strong right now -.-
edit - also yes... there are a lot of tops who **** on ranged. that is the whole reason the old meta shifted into going bot with a support. that doesn't mean that double AD doesn't work with the right comps. |
