Countless times I see someone with this item trying desperately to escape death when in reality, that extra 2 seconds is only helping the remaining 2 seconds on my cooldown to end them with.

Personal habitual activites? Utilizing gargantuan idioms to fabricate intelligence.

I've also seen countless people survive a turret dive with the active.
As well as use it to stall for time, in which, if the enemy says, their allies arrive in time, the original intended double-kill turns into a self-Ace.

It's all about coordination.

I love this as you get a ton of ability power (specially with Veigard) and it could also save you a few times. It's awesome agains Karthus' ultimate, if you're targeted in a teamfight or if you can't escape but teammates closing in fast. get it!

the other thing it's active (now in zhona's hourglass ) works on oddly enough is fiddle's ult. if after he's channeled he uses it it still deals damage, but he can't move or be attacked. WAY op, especially at like 120 hp when they think they can get him. and spell vamp does proc during those 2 seconds.

HrdPnkr, I'm thinking it was a combination of Rabadon's Deathcap and Zhona's Hourglass- an item that gave you AP and raised it by a %, as well as giving you an invulnerability active for two seconds.
