Archmage's Savvy

People who use AP chars tend to put the 3 points in this mastery to unlock the next tiers in the offense tree. But in my opinion this mastery bonus is very marginal, since in level 18 the bonus AP is only 10.

While deadliness gives you a flat 2% crit for every level. This means not only you get roughly a 2% increase in auto atack damage, you also get the burst of a critical, what can scare enemies off or get them off guard by taking twice the amount of damage from the auto atack of an AP char. Not to mention some lucky last hits.

I see no advantage of getting this mastery (Archamge's Savvy) over deadliness in any champion.

I agree, to a certain extent, because between the two, deadliness does actually give better bonuses. But, an AP mage's job is Not to Auto Attack and a 2% increase on your effective auto attack damage won't do much because U don't have any items to boost it. At least with Archmage's Savvy u use the mastery to its fullest potential even if the effect is "marginal". 10 AP can make a difference for a caster with big AP ratios and a Deathcap. this is just IMHO :P

Saiyamann, its just 2% crit. It does not scale with level, or that would be riduclous, 36%crit for free at lvl 18?? I dont think so. This mastery is more for the ap burst casters
