The long awaited homepage is live. This page should showcase a wider variety of guides and help newer players a little more. There is one last extra we are adding on as we speak thanks to a suggestion from DEWO, but more on that in a bit.
The top 10 of 30 is still there in a new, more interesting format. We added all the free to play champions and the top 10 lists for each. You can now easily see what the vets are recommending and we brought back the top 10 newest guides as we had some people who missed it when it disappeared oh so long ago.
The rest of the homepage is pretty familiar with the discussion summary and news updates. You may notice the addition of a by line to the news, this is in preparation of allowing greater access to publish news on the site.
Hope you like the changes and most importantly we hope they help you find what you are looking for!

In preparation for the new homepage, and to compliment lots of the other recent updates like the toplists, we have updated the site skin.
We streamlined the layout to reduce wasted space and get the guides up higher above the fold and generally just compacted and refreshed the layout.
The new homepage will compliment the layout and a few of the older areas of the site will be updated soon to match as well.

We just put out another update :) Busy week!!!
This time we've added a new top list feature. You will notice this new box appearing on some pages, such as on the homepage, in replace of the old legendary builds box. It provides quick access to a number of top lists, including the last 6 months and all champions.
Those of you that were on the legendary builds box, rest assured we have records of your builds, and when we get an achievement system going we will reward you :)
Veterans can now recommend each others guides, we have lifted the ban (though they cannot recommend their OWN guides). We realized that many of our best guide authors are becoming Vets. The recommendation feature is as much for the readers as it is for the authors and not allowing these great guides to be recommended hurts them as well. We trust our Veterans to continue to use their best judgment when recommending each others guides!
We have modified the three buttons on the builder toolbar. They now say Save, Publish and View. The old preview button was doing two things - saving a revision and popping up your guide. If you clicked publish, then preview, you would continue to get the warning that you have an unpublished revision, even though technically you didn't. The new view button does NOT save, it simply pops up your guide. This should be more straightforward.

To go with our nice new embed tag, we have added a new forum called "Videos & Streams"! Post and discuss your media here. Youtube, ustream, livestream, justin.tv, any and all media. Check the bbcode guide for info on how to use the embed tag, and feel free to suggest any sites that you think we should add support for.
