League of Legends (LoL) Question: Aatrox or Velkoz

They're completely different roles, and neither is a tank. Aatrox is much harder to learn, since he has to keep a closer eye on his health than just about any other champion. Vel is pretty boring (if you play other mages). His spells have no synergy or combo to them. It's just "click everything on this guy."

I can honestly say that Vel is one of the most fun and affective champs that I use. He is pretty squishy, but I almost never have a bad game with him. His mana costs are really cheap, which lets you spam all game with your ult sprinkled in when you need a kill or two. If you don't like using skillshots, though, Vel may not be for you. Still, loads of fun.

Well if u are a beginner i would take aatrox because hes very easy and quick to learn and velkoz is skillshot based ;)

Neither is really viable right now...I think I've seen Aatrox ONCE this split and velkoz hasn't seen any lcs play. It's funny because i think that both these champions are better in different roles than they were originally meant for. Aatrox was a jungler and although he certainly can be played in that role I would say hes a better top. Velkoz was supposed to be a mage. I would never play him mid. He'll always be a support to me. If you want a tank you might consider gnar. A lot of people build botrk him and other damagey items on him but hes mostly known for his tanky engage. Idk if he sounds like fun to you though. Of both of those if I had to pick one I would go with aatrox but there are better choices

Aatrox definitely. Aatrox has very good damage and amazing potential. Just go for Aatrox. You can carry the game with no problem.
