Blue Ezreal vs. Standard Ezreal Build? Q & A
In a straight up 1v2 duel with the enemy Ezreal + Soraka who ran a more conventional build ( The Bloodthirster, Phantom Dancer, etc), I won easily because of the increased sustain damage output from Spirit of the Elder Lizard and the active from Blade of the Ruined King.
I suffered a bit early game, but come mid-game as soon as Iceborn Gauntlet was built, the enemy could barely touch me.
The damage on normal Ezreal might be higher, but the utility on blue Ezreal is ridiculous.
Could be interesting seeing if the scaling drops off drastically or remains comparable.
+ No mana problems
+ Nice pokey pokey with QQ
+ Also deal more damage with E, since it's single target
+ CDR + tankiness
+ Muramana stacked in no-time
+ Great mid-game
- Lack of critical damage
- Less AA power late game
- Less MS due to no PD or SS (or TF :P)
- Basically, late game he can't do **** :P
If you think you can win at 20, go ahead and go blue.
If you think the game will be a bit longer than that, just go standard ADC Ezreal :P
+ Spirit of the Elder Lizard gives increased damaged on jungle creeps, so you get faster objective clears. Also lets you do double golems or wolves quickly when you push lane but don't want to overextend.
+Great ability to kite.
