League of Legends (LoL) Question: champion

Well Akali is free this week, so you should try her out while you can and if you like her, buy her. Now if you are asking if she's any good I'd say she's better in middle lane than top lane and overall she is a good champion if you can get past her shaky early game.

And please don't play her as a support.

I Mid and Jungle with Akali

Akali is a good support and she's not particularly easy to play, but the way I see it, there's more fun and more rewarding champions out there, such as ahri, wukong, nida etc... At the end of the day it's entirely your call though.
