How to get better elo?

I've been struggling to get a better Elo in league of legends. I usually always win my lane but the rest of my team feeds, lowering my score and thus making the team loose. And again, the elo drops. its like a loop that goes on and on. I keep getting matched up against worse and worse people. no communication, no logic, no nothing! I dont know how to carry a match when the other team is so fed. I main yasuo and i feel like i cant do much against a super fed team. please help

My personal answer had some focus on skills I deem more valuable for the Gold/Platinum climb, but they're good for any lower elos too and the general tips are just as important on every elo. If you feel like these answers are not enough feel free to post a game replay in the forums, someone is going to help you for sure.

tl;dr of my answer

I'll list here a summary of what I answered in the previous answer. If you want the reasoning behind what I said go there, I won't just copy paste everything here. If you want even more in-depth insights on any particular topic you can just PM me or start a thread in the forums.

My first recommendation was trying other champions. This is just my personal preference since maining one champion while having a couple more "backup" champions is probably the best way to climb. If you already have Yasuo, you can try some of his counters as your backup champions for those games where an enemy firstpicks him. Your knowledge of the champion on top of counterpicking it will make you both a better Yasuo and counter- Yasuo player.
My two general recommendations were (copy/pasted):

- Learn from every mistake YOU make. Rule of thumb: whenever you die, there's something you could have done better. Rule of thumb #2: the mistakes your allies make are of no use to your learning, unless those are mistakes you recognise you could have made. At any rate, if you're criticising your allies instead of learning from them or polishing your play you're wasting your time.

- Buy pink wards whenever you can. Being right about the gold to finish big items might be an exception ONLY if that item could make the difference in your lane matchup (see: powerspikes). If you aren't buying more than the average for a ~~Gold/Plat~~ Bronze/Silver team, you're not buying enough.
Lastly I made some recommendations of complex mechanics that are often lacking in Gold/Platinum but are hard to exploit to the max if you don't have some strategic/mechanical baseline. They were:
- Look the map every 10 or so seconds.
- Understand powerspikes from your champion and to some extent of the enemy champions.
- Understand your role and your teammates' roles in the early, mid and late stages of the game.

These will surely make you play better if you learn them, so go check my full explanation if you care about it (the powerspikes one is especially long).

I don't know too much about the state of Bronze/Silver, so I can't talk as much as I can about Gold/Plat (I've been Gold/Plat since season 4). My best recommendation is to post replays in the forums and people will come to your aid.

So there are many tips is handling a fed team, or getting tilted from your team feeding. First off, always think and wonder what you could have done better. There's always times and plays that you could have improved and maybe changed the outcome in a game. is a very capable champ to carry with, so played the right way, you can find a way to win. Secondly, if you do win your laning phase and you pushed hard into their tower, or even made their mid laner back. You need to roam. Help out bot, top, even counter jg. If you can do this successfully and still get back to mid and stop their CS and their pushing, your team can win a lot more. By you roaming, and possibly picking up a kill bot lane, then gives your team drake pressure. Then that can possibly be a Drake and a free kill, then you run back to mid lane like nothing happened at all. Thirdly, if your team is feeding make sure you do not harass them about it, that usually just makes that player play even worse because he/she are then tilted and upset about their last mistake, and will likely make another one. It is hard to truly carry a game, but can be done especially by . I main mid lane, and I usually roam often if I can get my early game lead. But you need to communicate, yes you might be in Lower ELO, but slowly and surely you can get out, if you play the right way. It might not be this season, but keep playing and learning tips and advanced tricks on . Or even pick up other champs to play in Mid/Top lane, so if they pick a or one of your counters, you aren't a 1 trick pony.
