League of Legends (LoL) Question: Hydra or Statikks on Shaco?

Usually I go for Ravenous Hydra, even if I build some tankiness later in the game. I recently tested Titanic Hydra and have to admit that It fits well to my Shaco... guess I have to test the Titanic Hydra more often before I should state my opinion about this Item though :)

You might want to specify which hydra you're talking about. Titanic is a great item if the rest of your build is tanky. Ravenous tends to get better the more AD you build.

If you're going tanky-ish hydra is instantly better. I find "bruiser shaco" too lacking myself but it's a matter of playstyle.

Btw, I usually never go for full AD Shaco, due to the danger of becoming useless in teamfights and getting instant bursted. I prefer to go Warriors and Hydra as my only damage Items that won't grant me tankiness, Dead Man's Plate, Maw of Malmortius and Sterak's are usually Items i go for. I'm afraid of losing too much damage if I would substitute Hydra for Statikks in this build.

Yes, this is also my assumption that Hydra just grants you so much AD and after the initial burst Statikks won't help you as much as the Hydra would...

I take both and I hate Youmuu's on Shaco. He's all about 1-3 shotting carries, he's not a lasting teamfighter, requires burst to be effective and he doesn't gain much from Youmuu's overall.

Plus shyv + hydra highly increase his splitpushing powers by a million.

My Shaco build in general revolves around high burst on his single first AA after Deceive: Warrior Enchantment, MS boots (I used to do mobies, probably still would), Shyv, Hydra (I'll rush hydra first if getting money fast), Triforce (sheen proc + shyv proc + deceive crit) and either Last Whisper or IE depending if the carries bought any type of armor or not.

With Ignite, you're guaranteed to force them to blow flash + heal and might still kill them with a deceive + Hydra active + Ignite + Two-Shyv unless they built some random tankyness that'll render you useless anyway. Also, I sell Warrior enchantment once full build for the IE or Last Whisper Item depending on what I bought as a 6th item.

Thats exactly my feeling... Ravenous Hydra is so expensive that when you are really behind it's not worth it. So when I'm behind I usually go for Statikks. Btw I'm a Shaco main myself but still struggle with my Item build :P

Yes I've tested this option also, but I felt that when I go Warrior into Hydra into Shiv I really lack some tankiness at this point, even though you can oneshot any squishy target.
