    ROA vs Morello on Liss

So in terms of Top lane Lissandra. When is it better to get a Rod of Ages over a Morellonomicon and vise versa?

I haven't really figured this out yet for sure, but I would hazard a guess that Rod of Ages is more appropriate if your team is pretty squishy (usually if you're laning top) and Morellonomicon is better if you need more early-to-mid-game damage (so usually mid). Morello's is probably worth buying if the healing reduction is especially useful for your matchup (say, vs an Aatrox top or Swain mid).

Personally I like Morellonomicon into Zhonya's Hourglass the best because I feel like the 5 seconds of invulnerability is enough to let you get all your abilities off without getting blown up.

From personal experience. Rod of Ages is better since it allows her to have sustain as she levels up as well as a good mana pool, whilst being tanky. Morellonomicon is good if you want an early powerspike and want dueling potential early on. It depends on the playstyle. Against an assassin I would recommend Rod of Ages but if you're mid and want to roam I'd say Morellonomicon

I'd say RoA. It gives you some tankiness, and since she has short ranges on her spells, you need to be able to take hits with her. Her Q is already on a machine gun-esque CD, so the CDR you're missing out on (could even still get that item later, but RoA kinda needs to be your first item if you go for it) isn't a huge deal. I'd only take Morellonomicon if you were laning Aatrox, Xin Zhao, Warwick, Dr. Mundo, or someone else where grievous wounds actually matters.

It really varies depending on the champions your playing against. By default lissandra normally gets morellos for the cdr ap and it's healing reduction passive. Rod of ages on the other hand isn't bad either for the health and healing passive it gives. Honestly it all depends whether you want to be an off tank or just go full damage. If your team has no tank and you choose lissandra top it probably wouldn't be a bad idea to go Roa. You'll still be getting damage and it also helps just so you have some tankyness on your team.

It's highly match dependent, both are good, CDR from morello is more powerful as it gives you more CC potential, but RoA into hourglass/abyssal lets you have a longer front-line presence and turns you into something of an off-tank. Try and decide which is better for your team and which is more of a problem for the enemy team.
