Should I main AP Ez in mid?

I'm not sure if I should main Ez in mid. I like to play him as an adc but also feel like he is good with AP? Any suggestions?

I play him quite a bit mid because I simply like , but if you intend to climb he's not a great choice for multiple reasons, namely; lack of waveclear, lack of any CC, iffy roaming capabilities, low impact early game until Lich Bane is aquired, and he's generally suicidal (using E towards people to burst).

ADC Ez mid works too, and fixes a few of those problems, but you may as well just go bot with him.

Basically this

his early game is beyond ****ty in most matchups vs any sort of aoe ability. after he gets items he's actually pretty decent but the problem is getting there consistently.

If you want to rank up (playing for win), I would not play him. I can't think of one easy matchup for him. He has probably some but most are medium or hard difficulty. On the other side if you are looking for a challenge and playing for fun, then main him as ap mid.

is viable AP mid. He has 4 abilities that scale with AP, and his Ult scales the most. He has weak early and mid game, but just like in the ADC role will pick it up late game. After he gets his core items, blue build or whatever you are going to build him. And just make sure you can hit your skill shots. I don't have a lot of time, so if you want to message me on here, I can go more in depth later.

Yeah he tends to just get shoved into the tower or all in'd by relentlessly early on. AD Ez can atleast kinda push and and fight back. Or harass them to a point that they don't wanna fight.

Though, AP Ez does have respectable burst and poke, assuming the enemy is dumb enough to keep getting pegged by W and fall for the E+Ignite all in.
