League of Legends (LoL) Question: Should I use Smite/Teleport?

    Should I use Smite/Teleport?

So, I think I was rather late with this question and I shouldn't have any excuse about asking stuff over and over again, but it's annoying not having this unanswered. Like the tittle said, smite and teleport, is it just a fad, a niche tactic or the new meta? Which champs would work well with it?

Somehow it works. I had problem against Shyvana who started from clearing one camp and teleported back to lane with level advantage. In her case with Burnout movement speed gave her enough stick ability to fully apply challenging smite from Skirmisher's Sabre.
In summary it gives easier ability to clear one camp and come back to lane with tp with level advantage. It's viable for champions with good stick ability (increase their own movement speed, gap closers, slows) and who synergizes well with Enchantment: Cinderhulk as I see only this enchantment viable as finishing of jungle item. I think tanky champions like Shyvana Cho'Gath Dr. Mundo Sion or Gnar in my opinion can work with it very well.

I think it's between a niche tactic and new meta. People do it because of the overpowered new jungle item, and it's extreme superiority over Sunfire Cape where tanky tops used that item such as Shyvana, Gnar, Dr.Mundo, Volibear, maybe Hecarim, etc. Also not to mention that you have 2 smites (4 if u count charges) so taking objectives would be easier (even more easier if you have a nunu on your team).

Vi can use this to great effect depending on your team's ability to ward properly, and can take control of dragon more properly doing so. She's also good for defending or destroying turrets quickly, and since she has escapes and gap glosers, she's not as thirsty for Flash.

Rek'Sai also works. You also need to make the enemy jungler's life a living hell by counter jungling the **** out of them to further utilize your choice of bringing Smite over Flash. This is why good waveclear is needed for a champ to be good with this setup.

you missed some important stuff. (oh and ye, it was nerfed but you can still use this tactic)

    A) You start with Ruby Crystal and potions, not with machete.

    B) You only mentioned enchantment. Skirmisher's Sabre is your jungle-item. You deal increased damage, you have vision of the target and damage dealt to you is 20% lower. Incredibly strong on 1v1. And well, top is 1v1 -lane.
