Rule Overview

Match Scheduling

12:00pm = Noon. 12:00am = Midnight. Midnight last night is the first hour of today! Make sure you clarify what you mean.

Teams have an official match time of 11-12-2011 @ 12:00PM GMT+0 . If both teams agree to an alternate match time, that time is binding in place of the official match time. Teams are not required to schedule alternate match times and may choose to play the official match time without notice. It is polite to contact your opponent to try and arrange a convenient time for everyone involved but you are not required to. If you have no communication with your opponent then be ready to play at 11-12-2011 @ 12:00PM GMT+0 .

Teams should be in-game 15 minutes BEFORE the scheduled match time. Teams that are not all present and ready to start 15 minutes AFTER the scheduled match time will be considered late for the first game and forfeit that game, giving their opponent a leg up in the best of 3. Teams that are not all present and ready to play 30 minutes after the scheduled match time will be considered no-shows and the opposing team may force them to forfeit the entire round, eliminating them from the tournament. Don't be late!

Substitute Players

Substitute players must be chosen and set before tournament registration closes. No roster changes of any kind are allowed after registration is closed. Substitute players can be used for the entire tournament without penalty. Captains must inform their opponent before every single game when they plan on using their sub. Failure to do so MAY result in forfeit.

Picks & Bans

rageQUIT won the coin toss! rageQUIT get's first ban and first pick for game 1 and game 3. Force of Nature gets first ban and first pick for game 2. Picks and Bans should be done on MOBAFire.com or through in-game chat before playing each game. Take screenshots as evidence in case a dispute arises. If there is any confusion over how to handle bans and picks please contact the admins for clarification.

Player ELO

Regular fluctuations in ELO are to be expected. False player ELO will be investigated and handled by the admins at their discretion.

Forfeit Wins

If you MUST take a forfeit win because you have tried everything and still came up empty, so be it. However, in the spirit of competition you SHOULD NOT be hammering your opponents over small issues hoping to get a forfeit. That's just weak. Players play.

Communicating & Reporting

We strongly urge you to either use the comment thread on this page or the MOBAFire Private Messaging system to discuss your matches with other teams or admins. We can verify these communications. To report violations or other issues use the "Report" button near the top of this page. When reporting issues be sure to include as much evidence as possible. Screen capping agreed times and disputes will help quickly resolve issues.
