Hey my name is arik. I am 21 and started playing league about a year ago. I started out as a relatively casual gamer (humble beginnings :D) and really started getting competitive with the release of SC2. I went from unranked in SC2 to platinum but I ended up slowing down and not playing it anymore because it got too routine and intense. I started playing league and havent seriously started another game since. I like to try fun stuff in games. Boo on meta and all that jazz. I like champs that have something unique about them that makes them fun. I generally play AP carry but can top, support, or even jungle with the right champ.
