I think the Season 3 patch was meant for supports. Mainly it changes the support role, giving us supporters more options how we want to build our heroes. My new favourite items are the new Locket of the Iron Solari, because it gives more HP and 10% cooldown now, then the Mikael's Blessing and the Crystal Maiden in an item, Shard of True Ice. I'm not even that familiar with Dota 2 (still havent had the courage to even try play vs people, I mean I lose vs easy bots -.-) but even I know the origins of the item. When the Riot decided that my current elo is supposed to be my highest elo I was dropped back to 1442 where I had decayed from my highest 1580 elo. I had only occasionally played 1 Ranked game per month to stop the further decaying, but when I read that all gold elo players get the new Victorious Janna skin, I knew I wanted it. I have all the other Janna skins so I want this one too although she's not even my main nor do I play her often enough to use all the skins. But it was a goal I set myself, to get 1500 elo.

So long I've wished and waited for Riot to release more support skins, since I main supports and I'd like to have some versatility. As for Kayle's Battleborn skin I can't really completely put her to support category mainly because she's not a full support and not often played as a support by other players (I do play her as a support on Normal games).
