The safest choice would be xerath, though he doesnt snowball as hard as some, his range and durability against ad means that even if he losses his lane, hes a pressence in the battlefield. Hes also one of the harder champions to counter (enemies cant hit you if your firing from Antartica).
Darius is a pubstomper, plain and simple. If the enemy top is bad, itll really show if your darius. Against more experienced players though hes mediocre (hence why he isnt on the competitive scene).
Brand is similar to ryze, in that hes a mid range ap nuker. Hes got alot of damage with one stun and no escapes. Really more of a counter-pick than a consistant choice, but not bad really.
Ahri's pretty strong, good mobility, focused and group damage abilities with some excellent tower dive + gank potential at level 6. Shes very strong in the right hands, however be warned: cc really shuts her down and shows how squishy she is. Shes a good choice, but counter-able.

Hey everyone,
I am trying to decide between buying Orianna or Kassadin. I like to play sort of harassing champions who can deal a lot of damage when they need to. I have experience in both and i just need help in making the final decision. In your opinion which one is more valuable on a team and which on could make the most difference in a team fight. Plus any other tips would be nice, thanks!

well kassadin isn't a "harassing" champion by any means, he's an all in champion. by that standard alone Orianna is your choice. She's also much better in a team than Kassadin, and makes much more difference in a fight.

question One: Syndra and Ziggs both have a strong lane presence, though syndra has more kill potential, ziggs has a lot of good roaming potential with his Ultimate, and a lot of good poke.
Late game I'd put my money on Syndra, though It depends on the comp, Ziggs can work really well too
Ziggs is by far easier to pick up, but lacks the raw power synda has, and her CC (though slightly situational) is stronger.

Lee sin is an excellent jungler and top laner, as is shen.
vayne is an ADC, strong late game, early game she's weak, but she can top vs a few opponents
syndra is really strong in the mid lane.
Rengar is good top, not so much jungle.
so what are you looking for in a champ? you've listed two bruisers, a tank, an ap mid, and an adc.
all of those champions are very different.

I bought Shen but am currently seeing him as... well trashy... Every game I lose with him. Any help?

It sounds like you'd probably enjoy Syndra the most. Leblanc has most of that stuff too but her CC is less reliable and I think she's overall a weaker champ. Ziggs is more about poke/pushing than burst. I've heard Syndra is pretty hard to play though.
