Don't get hit by the first Q, Pull on the second Q and walk over him on the third. Whilst doing this you should be auto attacking, casting abilities and pathing to the direction of his escape ALL AT ONCE. If you do get Hit my the first, you wiill get hit by the second with help of his E and he'll throw W down to land his 3rd and final Q for a clean and flawless trade. Keep in mind he's autoing in this process so he will hit you with two passive procs which mathematically accounts to too much damage for you to facetank. THAT will lose you the matchup.
TL;DR: Dodge first Q.
Kryptonite: Thornmail, Mortal Reminder and Tabi's
Ahri
Focus on farming the melee minions because the ranged minions are worth less gold and aren't worth the poke you'll suffer.Pre 6 if you miraculously catch her walking too close to your E zone you can win in the all in. Post 6 just walk away when she presses R and farm.
TL;DR Just farm.
Kryptonite: Maw of Malmortius
Akali
Trade Q's with her. Try to bait her's out by walking up and walking back if you want. When her smoke is up if she shows, she's visible enough to land an auto attack. So toggle target champions only and hit her when she's visible. If you have ghost and she's in the smoke - ALL IN. Post 6 if she uses R defensively (to escape) walk away. If she uses R to kill you, just keep fighting her.
TL;DR read it. There's no summarizing an Akali matchup
Kryptonite: Maw of Malmortius, Mortal Reminder and Adaptive Helm (MAYBE a thornmail since she auto's you after a Q)
Alistar
It's an easy matchup. He just has cc, no damage. Kill him when he goes for cs. you can't really lose 1v1.
Kryptonite: Your existence
Amumu
He does a bit of damage, but you outdamage him by far. Nobody will give you a lecture on how to beat him. It's as easy has all in'ing him when he goes for cs.
Kryptonite: Black cleaver and Adaptive Helm
Anivia
Laning phase ends at level 2-3 depending when she levelled up wall. After level 6 it gets worse because she wipes the wave clean with her R . The problem is if you try to fight her, she'll wall you off and flee to tower. If you try to walk aroung the wall she'll stun you with Q and create a bigger gap between the both of you. Yes... it's one of those "no fighting allowed" champions. But if there's anything positive, you can pull her to cancel her Q recast or R duration. And remember when she has egg up, you can't get a reset on her immediately. you have to kill her once then reset her on the egg spawn. To be honest this matchup comes down to whether she walks up too close and messes up. there's not much you yourself can really do.
TL;DR Just farm
Kryptonite: Maw of Malmortius and Adaptive Helm
Annie
She has good range and cc. Realistically speaking you ain't touchin her unless her mouse stops working and she runs into your hook range. You can probably rush boots and try to catch her but she'll probably do the same by rushing sorc's. I'm just saying you're not gonna have many windows of opportunity to catch annie. You need jungle help to pin her down. TL;DR Just farm
Kryptonite: Maw of Malmortius
Aphelios
He's got a root..., damage and range. But when he's hooked he's dead since he has no mobility. I also don't see any difficult-to-itemise-against damage so there's already two signs of counterplay. TL;DR if you can't hook just farm. Build some armor and watch out for the root. Kryptonite: Randuins, Thornmail and Tabi's
Ashe
ADC Kindom.
Chances are you won't lane vs Ashe but due to her in built frozen mallet and 550 range, you aren't realistically supposed to be able to touch her. BUT if you manage a miraculous catch because she walked to close to the bush or somone on your team applied hard CC on her, she is as good as dead as long as you have ghost.
TL;DR Just farm
Kryptonite: Tabi's, Randuins and Thornmail
Aurelion Sol
His poke isn't really that harsh escpecially since his stars are in pull range. But as a ranged champion and his short cast Q can stun you, there aren't many windows to kill him. Try to rush boots vs him. If you pull and press ghost, it's most likely a free kill. It's just if you walk up to him he is thinking about Q'ing you.
Kryptonite: Maw of Malmortius
Azir
Another harsh ranged matchup. Post 6 he does become an extreme threat because of his disengage R. He farms with his soldiers from a larger distance than his usual auto attacks so that translates into safer farmingrealistically you'll only be farming vs him. If you manage to pull him due to an overstep, walk foward so that his E gets distance block. After that, if he doesn't ult just kill him. TL;DR Try to kill before 6, Walk foward immediately after a pull to block his dash.
Kryptonite: Maw of Malmortius and Adaptive Helm
Bard
He doesn't do that much damage since it's just his passive and Q. However as a ranged champion he will just be out of reach. I must advise not to stand near minions or a wall since his Q stuns off those two things. Also when fighting near a wall, keep in mind any wall is a potential escape path. He also travels faster than you in his portal so when he gets out he's ready to stun you with Q. Just don't cahse over a wall unless you have summs or something. TL;DR don't engage on him near minions or a wall to avoid the stun.
Kryptonite: Maw of Malmortius
Blitzcrank
He doesn't do damage. The most annoying thing i can think of is he knocks you up and kites away with W. Just W or E when he charges the uppercut. In teamfights you wanna stay away if someone on the enemy team is fed like a syndra because if you get hooked you're gonna eat all their damage and be the first to die... so don't get hooked. TL;DR W when uppercut.
Kryptonite: Black Cleaver
Brand
Brand may not have any disengage but he has too much damage in his kit. He also applies all that damage from a safe distance. If you go for a pull he will already press E and whilst airborne, have Q pre-casted to stun you on arrival. In lane he'll poke you out and there's not much to do. If you do catch him off-guard then you could get a kill because you outdamage him 1v1 just that it'll cost like 60% of your hp. Try to dodge his abilities but overall you're gonna get boned unless he's melee-ranging you. You have to be ccareful in teamfights because the amount of AOE damage he's going to deal is game-changing. stay away from people if he casted R on you to make it not bounce. TL;DR, rush boots and pull him if it's possible- otherwise just farm. In teamfights stay away from ulted targets to avoid damage / isolate yourself from your team to minimise damage.
Kryptonite: Maw of Malmortius, Adaptive Helm and Spirit Visage
Braum
He doesn't do damage just kill him. In teamfights the stun might geet you killed because it sets people up but in that case you wanna be around your team so that they can back you up too. Always keep in mind he can just ult after the stun wears off for longer cc chain. this means it's not smart to stay near a their team with 3 concussive stacks on you.His E doesn't do anything since you're melee with 0 projectiles. TL;DR he doesn't threaten you unless he has a team. Stay behind something so his Q doesn't hit you.
Kryptonite: Black Cleaver
Caitlyn
ADC Kingdom.
She has the highest auto attack range in the game. Her headshots deal bonus damage and she can both trap and net you, making it more difficult to touch her. If you manage to pull her you probably can kill her, but the problem is... closing that initial 650 range gap. It's not easy if caitlyn has an active brain, stays away from brushes and walks back every time you walk towards her. If you get a jungle gank she's as good as dead but relying on ganks is inconsistent in soloq, not everyone will gank top. TL;DR if you can't find a way of gap closing, just farm
Kryptonite: Tabi's, Randuins and Thornmail
Camille
You need to pay attention because her Q gives movespeed per cast. This is good to weave in and out of your Q's. Her W is longer range than your Q, her second E will stun you even if you pull. and her R is good for dodgeing your Q. You will win head to head all ins but you need to save E for when she tries to escape with E because you can pull her out of the first E. try to walk in her W cone to avoid excessive damage. you could also pull her but that's a waste since she can just E away.
TL;DR pull her out of the wall drag and hold Q for when she has R up in the all in.
Kryptonite: Sterak's Gage and Tabi's
Cassiopeia
I know, she's ranged AP caster with no need to spend gold on boots. That's as positive as it is negative. Sure she saves gold and her movespeed per level will outscale boots but that means if you rsh boots you're straight up faster than her. If she has phase rush she can gap-create really well, if not she's not that good. What i can say is, she stutter steps too often which is enough for you to be able to pull her. So she isn't the worst because she will be in pull range. If you have ghost then you'll be able to match her speed assuming she too kphase rush in the all in. so to summarise: Dodge her Q, pull her during E animation and look away when she's gonna R
Kryptonite: Maw off Malmortius, Adaptive Helm and Mortal Reminder
Cho'Gath
Even though this is an easy matchup he has some nice base damage so make sure you're not missing your Q's. if you can't dodge his Q use E bfore it lands so he doesn't gap-create. You know the drill just all in him when he goes for cs cos it's just so free. You don't lose to him 1v1. AP cho players will stand at Caitlyn range and farm with Q so you'll just have to freeze and farm in that scenario.
TL;DR E when he Q's if you can't dodge his Q
Kryptonite: Black Cleaver, Maw of Malmortius and Adaptive Helm
Corki
ADC Kingdom. This guy is weird, he does mixed damage and it's all from range. If you manage to pull him he's dead sure... but making that pull happen is questionable since he has a small dash. also his Passive lets him roam to other lanes with a double cast W which is really good for his team. Vs him you''re just gonna have to dodge Q and R if you can. If he oversteps, make the pull and ghost, in melee range you win. TL;DR just farm, you don't realistically beat him unless his monitor is off.
Kryptonite: Tabi's, Maw of Malmortius, Randuins and Adaptive Helm.
Darius
Pick Ranged Poke
Diana
Diana suffers from SCS (stat check syndrome). She needs to kill you in one round of spells or she dies. She can farm a bit with Q but not forver so pull her when she doesn't. in the extended trade / all in, she may have her R to dodge your Q but she can't tank your damage or dps you down. her build usually goes Spellbinder and deathcap so that she can maximise her AP(SCS). If you delay that by killing her once or twice, she's useless. She doesn't really have an escape so she's dead on pull.
TL;DR just pull her and all in when she auto's a significant minion.
Kryptonite: Maw of Malmortius and Adaptive Helm
Dr. Mundo
Don't endlessly eat his Q. Just stand behind minions. This champion's desing revolves around him hurting himself to do something. The more someone lowers their HP the closer they are to execute threshold from your R. You'll find this matchup easy as long as you don't eat Q. you can eat one to deny cannon but that's it. All in him early to cheese a kill, it's not that hard. TL;DR stand behind a minion during laning phase.
Kryptonite: Black Cleaver, Maw of Malmortius, Adaptive Helm, Thornmail and Mortal Reminder
Draven
ADC Kingdom. I don't know what our brother is doing in the top lane but you need to show him he's in the wrong neighbourhood- uh i mean lane. You rush tabi's and pull him where his axe lands, This will make him drop his axes and overall lower his DPS. Remember this is a ranged champion and he has a movespeed boost so their is that pull barrier you have to get around. If you can't pull him just farm.
TL;DR just farm if you can't pull.
Kryptonite: Randuins, Tabi's, Thornmail and Mortal Reminder.
Ekko
Try to abuse him early before he gets enough crdr to just farm with Q. Remember to walk outside of his W and away from his R so that you avoid damage and stun. you might want to save your pull for when he procs his passive so that his movespeed bonus is negated. but overall this matchup isn't hard. TL;DR dodge his Q and stay out of his W and R zones.
Kryptonite: Maw of Malmortius
Elise
I've never laned vs Elise in my life. But i imagine you kill her if you manage the pull. That is... if you didn't get hit by her E. Remember she can repell into the air to dodge your Q in spider form. Also, the way this champion works is her human form does current HP damage and her spider form does missing hp damage- so it's a perfect balance of burst and finish.
TL;DR idk, have you laned vs Elise?
Kryptonite: Maw of Malmortius
Evelynn
Also haven't laned vs evelynn before but i assume it's easy since she sucks at laning, just pull and kill on a significant minion. If she's a jungler and ahead, you're screwed since soloq is unorganised.
Kryptonite: Maw of Malmortius, Adaptive Helm and Spirit Visage
Ezreal
ADC Kingdom.
Well, you're gonna get poked a lot. Just try to dodge as many Q's as possible. Pull him after he pressed E because he could counter your pull with that ability. You can rush boots and try to catch him off-guard. If youi do pull him he's dead since he doesnt do enough threatening damage. Anyway realistically speaking i don't imagine a way you catch thresh unless he's alt tabbed.
TL;DR just farm
Kryptonite: Tabi's, Thormail and Maw of Malmoritus
Fiddlesticks
Never laned vs fiddle but he's kind of an outdated and garbage champion. You out dps him just find a way of closing the gap to start the fight because don't forget he's a ranged champion with Q ready to fear you away. Assuming he knows how to stay away from you, this makes it a farm lane. if he does somehow get into hook range he will die if you have ghost up.
TL;DR Just farm unless he he trolls and walks into your hook range
Kryptonite: Adaptive Helm, Maw of Malmortius and Mortal Reminder
Fiora
The french superstar. Try not to get hit by her W. it's fine if she blocks something with it but try to dodge the thrust so that you don't recieve the attack speed slow. Generally the scenario you want to do is She Q's for a vital - You auto W Q- she ripostes the Q- you dodge the ripostee thrust - pull her - then all in her. When she presses R, if you need to hug a wall to deny a vital. However i leave a vital open so that i can bait her to go for it whilst hitting a Q. Think of it as a trap. If she doesn't riposte your Q but you still hit her then that's better because she ate damage for no reason, she'll be too low in the extended trade cos she won't be able to tank another Q. The worst scenario vs a fiora you can go through is if she Q's inside your Q and she W's your W. because you'll be half health down and 0 stacks whilst she hammers away at you. TL;DR nah fam, read it if you wanna give her a beatdown.
Kryptonite: Tabi's, Thornmail and Mortal Reminder
Fizz
It's ok if he dodges the first Q with E, just keep autoing him and land the second Q. It's not that hard, you outdamage him 1v1.
Kryptonite: Maw of Malmortius and Adaptive Helm
Galio
In melee range you want to stand to wards his exit path so he doesn't gap-create. Obviously you want to move out of his tornadoes. try to W or pull before the taunt hit's because it slows you for a good amount of time for him to escape. And finally pull him if he tries to ult to safety. Overall this is an easy matchup because you outdamage him and he doesn't have rliable ways to disengage.
TL;DR engage on him when he goes for cs.
Kryptonite: Maw of Malmortius, Adaptive Helm and Black Cleaver
Gangplank
I hate this chamion's design. He uses barrels as a safety measure for if you step up. They slow you, goes though armor and grant him movespeed all at the same time. It also makes his pasive reset. So let's be real. He's a really slippery champion in the right hands. How i play vs GP, I rush boots and pull him when he goes to Q me. On pull i auto attack him until he blows up the barrel in which i slow him with W so he cannot gap-create. with ghost active i continue the chase and kill him because Darius stat checks GP in a head on 1v1. But until you kill him, play hot and cold with his barrels to bait him to blow them up. if you're certain he won't go for them then destroy the barrels yourself. if your really want to deny him then you can auto W the barrels on 2 hp. TL;DR try to take as little Q poke as possible and slow/cc him when he blows up a barrel. and play hot and cold with his barrels to bat them.
Kryptonite: Tabi's, Randuins, Thornmail and Mortal Reminder
Garen
He does damage so make sure you don't mess up; you'll win the 1v1s as long is you don't miss Q. It's not THAT important but if you want you can save W for after he Q's so that he's slowed. But he'll die either way. TL;DR he's easy dw. Just follow him when he Q's you to hook him.
Kryptonite: Tabi's, Thormail Sterak's Gage and Mortal Reminder
Gnar
Lets assume this gnar knows how to play his champion. You will not kill him. If you pull him he will just double jump way. If you ghost he'll also ghost. He is a disengage machine. Realistically you'll just farm the lane out. But lets say his IQ is a little lower, he wants to fight you more often and he has less idea how the champion works. Basically what you wanna do is fight him head on when he's mega form. When he's mega gnar, he's slower and less mobile which is what you want to face. Not a slippery rat-vayne hybrid. TL;DR just farm
Kryptonite: Tabi's and Black Cleaver
Gragas
If you pull him, just walk to his exit path to block his E length. This isn't a gard matchup since you outdamage stright up. You just engage when he goes for cs.
Kryptonite: Black Cleaver, Maw of Malmortius and Mortal Reminder
Graves
His range is too short for him to properly kite you. Hooking him won't be too hard, and with a tabi's rush he won't do enough damage to threaten your hp bar. Also he has mana issues in-lane. Just make sure to not stand near walls since his Q recasts faster on impact. TL;DR don't stand near walls and stand in front of minions to block auto damage
Kryptonite: Tabi's, Thornmail and Randuins
Hecarim
Unless he can R away, he's a free kill. You easily out damage him. It's as simple as that, just make sure you don't miss your Q initially.
Kryptonite: Tabi's, Thornmail, Black Cleaver and Mortal Reminder
Heimerdinger
Rush hexdrinker, and bait his stun. You can play hot and cold like the gangplank matchup to bait the ability out when going for the turrets. If you kill his turrets you drop his dps. It will be hard and will suck if you keep getting poked out hit by stun. If you do manage to pull him-have magic resist-don't miss your Q's he should die...unless stopwatch. In which case you just farm.
TL;DR safely kill his turrets otherwise just farm.
Kryptonite: Maw of Malmortius and Adaptive Helm.
Illaoi
I actually hate this champion. However she has enough weaknesses to not make her a huge threat. Her Q is realitvely dodgeable and her E is abusable. Early game you are allowed to get hit by her E and dodge certain tentacles, just don't get your soul and yourself hit by the same tentacles. You can do this by not standing close to your tentacle (wow, very hard!). Post 6 you want to back out if you get hit by E because unless you have 2 kills on herr, she outdamages you straight up, there's too many tentacles to deal with. However if she misses E by any reason, you will win the 1v1/all in. TL;DR Dodge E
Kryptonite: Black Cleaver, Thornmail, Mortal Reminder and Tabi's (maybe Sterak's Gage)
Irelia
Mostly, dodge her E. If she doesn't hit E, it's easily won. If she hits E then she can dodge your Q for free. When she keep's Q'ing minions remember her passive is getting stacked. This means when she auto's you at 5, she 's doing respectable damage. SO back off until it waers off. If she keeps it stacked, then it's because she's pushing with the intention to kill you. So just back off unless you can kill her regardless of passive. This is one of Riot's newer designed champs so she can dance around you with her mobility. So be aware of the minions she can Q to and you'll be fine. If you're 0/2 vs her, rush thornmail. TL;DR dodge E
Kryptonite: Thornmail, Tabi's and Mortal Reminder.
Ivern
Apart from him being ranged and have a root, He doesn't do enough damage to threaten you. He's also easier to hook than a disengage support like Janna. He's just a worse ardent support. TL;DR just hit your hook and Q's and you'll be fine.
Kryptonite: Maw of Malmortius
Janna
Ardent Disease.
I don't want to shut down your dreams, i don't want to make you feel useless. I also don't want you to feel like there's nothing you can do to show that you have an advantage but that's just what Janna's all about. If you for some miracle reason hook her, she knocks you up or back depending on Q/R. That's a big IF tho because her W and passive grant movement speed which is used to maintain distance. What I'm trying to say is... you ain't touching this ho if her monitor is turned on. TL;DR Keep in mind she can sheild like half your R damage with E to deny resets and most likely the kill. Remember she moves faster than you and has hard CC... just farm.
Kryptonite: Maw of Malmortius and Mortal Reminder
Jarvan IV
You won't find him much a threat since a misuse of Q will equal to death since he needs his Q for an escape. If you can engage after he Q'd for a minion, you should easily run him down. Of course in teamfights he can lock you in with his ultimate, in which you need to space carefully. THIS MEANS YOU NEED TO MOVE IN A DIRECTION THAT IF HE ULTS YOU HE'S TOO FAR AWAY FROM HIS TEAM OR IS NOT TARGETING YOU. TL;DR engage after Q cast.
Kryptonite: Black Cleaver, Thornmail and Tabi's.
Jax
You gotta be careful with his E. You don't want to auto W in his E and let him Q onto your Q. This gonna be the fiora scenario all over again (0 stacks technique), After level 5 you are able to Q more comfortably because your Q will be lower cd than his Q. Anyway, the laning phase should be played out like this: convince him to Q onto you to land his counterstrike. In which you retaliate with your abilities + he has no escape for a good 8 seconds. in high tense situations you wil want to pull him on his counterstrike to negate dps and the stun itself. TL;DR careful when comboing with counterstike off cd and pull him when he's about to recast E.
Kryptonite: Black Cleaver, Thormail, Mortal Reminder, Tabi's, Adaptive Helm and Maw of Malmortius.
Jayce
Assuming he has phaserush... you ain't stouching him, he has the damage, the disengage and the mobility to escape your reach. Lets just say you'll be farming out the laning phase and getting poked. If he doesn't have phase rush, just pull him, stand by a wall and ghost all in. His all in isn't as good compared to yours. TL;DR avoid poke and just farm.
Kryptonite: Tabi's and Thornmail
Jhin
ADC Kingdom.
He has the range and after an item, he has the mobility ot kite you out easier. If you do pull him, he will most likely die so you should focus on the "how" you get to pull him part. remember he can root you with his W and his crits hurt a lot later on so it may sounds stupid but avoid his auto attacks in a teamfight. TL;DR just farm, you can't touch him unless his mouse is malfunctioning.
Kryptonite: Tabi's, Thornmail and Randuins
Jinx
ADC Kingdom.
Same principle with Jhin but she's more slippery in a favoured teamfight. ONce she gets a reset she gains a burst of movement speed which is useful to run away from danger. On top of movespeed, she gains attack speed... Pair both of these stats up with a good mechanical player and you have a kiting god. She also has some traps to play around so make sure to not walk over it. However in lane she has really low ms so it's possible just to run at her and hook into an all in. So abuse her if she's laning against you.
Kryptonite: Tabi's, Thornmail and Randuins
Kai'Sa
ADC Kingdom.
Talk about a jack of all trades. Ranged-Hybrid Damage-Stealth-High Movespeed-Poke Mage-On Hit-Anti Tank-Self Peel Sheild Champion. Needless to say you are out-stat by her kitwise. She has one weakness though, her early game is a drawback for a legendary late game. You can rush boots and try run her down. her damage won't be there yet so abuse it while you can. there will come a stage of the game where you won't want to chase her though. Because that sage is where a large number of factors come into play: Single target Q damage, Invisibility, Zhonyas hourglass, Her Ultimate(Reposisition and sheild strength) and obviously the external support from her team. TL;DR Just farm.
Kryptonite: Tabi's, Thornmail, Adaptive Helm and Maw of Malmortius
Kalista
ADC Kingdom.
She's another one of those weak early, strong late type of champs. BUt i wouldn't say her late is as strong as the others. Even when chasing her it's sort of okay since you can do the opposite of her dash direction to mess up her kiting sequence. Basically if she kites back, you walk away from her so she doesn't auto again / If she dashes towards, you walk towards her to get in melee range. This champion doesn't really go infinity edge so that's kind of good for you. TL;DR i haven't had too much trouble with this champ so i wouldn't worry about her, besides nobody plays kalista unless they're challenger on 9 ping.
Kryptonite: Tabi's and Thornmail
Karma
I understand why you don't like her, but there's still hope. You can utilise her W tether to lure her in for a hook then proceed the all in. Either that or you make sure you ghost after you get rooted to get the tenacity needed to kep going. Obviously try to take as little poke as possible and pull her when she gets in range. Normally i'd say she's one of those, "just farm against" type of champs but she pokes you too much within E range so that's good for you. Remember she's an ardent champ so she can offer good assistance to her team: her sheild can negate a lot of ult damage.
TL;DR Pull her on W tether
Kryptonite: Maw of Malmortius and Mortal Reminder
Karthus
His lack of cc and mobility makes him vulnerable to pulls unlike most ranged champions. Also his Q's are easy to dodge and predict so i don't think you'll suffer too much against a Karthus. If you are struggling, hit ghost and dodging Q's is childs play.
TL;DR run at him and dodge Q
Kryptonite: Maw of Malmortius and Adaptive Helm
Kassadin
I'll be honest, in lane he's about a 3 when it comes to threat level. You'll be able to kill him 2-3 times before 6. Post 6, he just uses R to flee and stop fights from happening. Post 16 makes him the most dangerous champion in the game. His ultimate and E are both AOE- For average's sake lets say he hit R E on your bot lane. Both are down to 10% HP BUT one of them instantly died because of his W. which leaves the other to die to Q and a second R since it's on a 1.2 second cooldown. I'm trying to say late game he wipes your team out CLEAN. And if you think Maw will save you think again, Void Staff + his kit eat's the sheild like it's nothing. Vs Kass you'll need multiple MR items but most importantly an abuse to his early game and using that lead to end the game before he hits his level 16 powerspike. TL;DR engage pre-6 and use the lead to delay his level 16 powerspike.
Kryptonite: Maw of Malmortius Spirit Visage and Adaptive Helm. Get them all if he's fed.
Katarina
Walk away from her daggers and you avoid her damage. You outdamage her in a 1v1 so i wouldn't worry about it, besides she can't reliable escape you unless a new minion wave is on the way for her to E to. her abilities don't do enough unless she's uber fed- which shouldn't happen if you're laning vs her.
TL;DR walk away from dagger drops
Kryptonite: Maw of Malmortius, Adaptive Helm and Mortal Reminder
Kayle
Even though she's easily killable pre-6, she is a hassle nonetheless. Her damage is still there and her build path consists of reliable on hit damage. Combine this with her kiting capabilities and you'll find yourself in a rough spot even with a kill or 2 under your belt. Imagine you missed your pull (it happens), there's no other way to gap close and she's dps'ing you from range before you reach her. I will admit that if the fight between you and her started in melee range because she facechecked a bush or something ,you'll win because you're not starting from a kiting disadvantage. But since that rarely happens the matchup favours to her. She's really useful in tf's because she can deny your R with her's. TL;DR Try to kill pre-6 because she has to melee farm minions until 6. after that try not to get kited because she still has respectable damage and a saving grace (R). Try to save your R after she's ulted.
Kayn
I used to play Kayn into Darius as a cheese counter. But it's garbage and easily abuseable. He doesn't have enough early game damage to threaten you enough. The only time he's harsh is late game and it's still favoured to you. Just dodge his W and he's useless.
TL;DR Dodge W and bait him to fight you for orbs- in which you kill him.
Kryptonite: Tabi's, Mortal Reminder and Thornmail

We all don't like rats. If he takes Phase Rush you're doomed because your kill pressure on him drops like a nuke. Even if you do manage to pull him for an obscene reason, he will stun you and gap-create. AP itemization is pretty strong so he's going to get the inexpensive PROTOBELT real quick. I must advise you to just refrain from fighting the rat, it just won't end well. I'm trying to say he has to mess up really bad for you to manage a kill on him. For example a misuse of E or phase rush in tandem with positioning which means he is in hook range. That's a major mess up and lets be honest, it ain't happening.
TL;DR Just farm it out and avoid as much poke as possible. He has to be really bad for you to be able to kill him.
Kryptonite: Maw of Malmortius and Adaptive Helm.
Kha'Zix
He's garbage in lane, he has mana issues and cannot deal damage in the middle of a minion wave. Most of the time he will be forced to E away or die. In teamfights, if you huddle up and group he can't get isolated Q's so make sure he doesn't go for split targets. But 1v1 you should win regardless.
TL;DR fight in minion wave

She scales kinda well. Gaining range and % HP damage. These are two stats that are good vs Darius. Her Q is good to dodge your Q and stay away from you. So keep that ability in mind when fighting her. Also her ultimate stops all enemies from dying which stops dunkspree's so also watch out for that. You need to wake up when fighitng her because she has many different ways of stopping you from being useful.
TL;DR: if you can't hook her, just farm. And careful with your ult when her ult is up.
Kryptonite: Tabi's, Thornmail and Randuins

Dodge his Q when you can. If you get hit don't worry, you can still win the trade as long as you stay on him and don't miss your Q. Missing your Q decides this matchup so much. It's already a given but i guess i'll just say it, don't ult until he's dismounted. Remember his dismounted Q can wall hop and so does his mounted second E. When he's dismounted let him auto a minion to waste his W so that the damage ain't inflicted on you. Really all i'm telling you is simple stuff.
TL;DR Just pay attention to the champion's kit and you'll be fine.
Kryptonite: Tabi's Thornmail and Black cleaver

The good part is he's immobile and squishy 1v1. The bad part he's ranged, has slows and 2 types of dps per auto attack. Late game he melts everything and dishes out enough damage to overwhelm you. But this is all at the cost of his fragile early. If you can manage to pull him, he's dead. If you ccan't pull him you're forced to farm it out. Just don't let him free farm because you don't want to let him scale.
TL;DR Make an attempt to kill him early, if you can't just farm.
Kryptonite: Tabi's, Thornmail Adaptive Helm and Maw of Malmortius

One of many tricksters in the roster. Ideally, you can't really kill her, she just jukes you all over the place. The best you can do is predict when she will recast W or R-W and Try to aim Q for both her current position and her W recast spot. However what I just told you are rare cases; you'll be farming and avoiding whatever poke you can for the most part. That's the reality vs a good LB. Also be aware that the lb with the stacks is the lb who's real post passive proc. TL;DR Just farm vs a good LB. Kryptonite: Maw of Malmortius
Lee Sin
He sucks in Lane mostly because he can't land Q when you stand on top of minions... so play on top of your minions. You'll most likely kill him a couple of times because of his weak laning power, His abilities just don't do enough compared to a Fiora or Jax. Just stay alert because his R is good in teamfights. He can kick you away from your team which opens up an opportunity for the enemy team to dump all their damage on you and remove you out of the fight or he can kick you away from his team if you're close to killing his ADC for example. Just be aware that his R can do that (stand slightly out of range from him or walk a different path when he comes to kick you so that you don't travel the full knockback distance) TL;DR Easy lane if you stand in minion wave. Kryptonite: Tabi's and Thornmail
Leona
She's your b**ch. She doesn't have any damage to kill you, so she'll be relying on her team to bring you down, which means in lane you auto win. She does have CC and a lot of it so try to dodge E R and space yourself when she tries to Q. But even then this is all to try and run from you or help with a gank, when alone in lane she won't do anything threatening.
Kryptonite: Black Cleaver and Maw of Malmortius
Lissandra
She's packed with ranged poke and CC. To top it all off, she has a self Zhonyas and a mobility ability if she just so happens to get pulled. Her Q is hard to dodge escpecially since it spreads after the first hit, her W is an AOE root so it's more of a "if in danger click W" ability and her E is a safety measure for any potential pulls you connect. All that with zhonyas and self cast R and you have a CC machine mage which is perfect for any team. But since she lacks extended trades strength, has mana issues early and low base ms: You can rush boots and attempt early kills- just make sure you ghost after your pull to get your best shot at continuing the all in. TL;DR if you can't pull just farm. And remember you can get ulted for a powerful stun which damages all allies around you. so try to not huddle up or a wombo combo will heppen. Kryptonite: Maw of Malmortius

TriHard ADC Kingdom.
You won't be able to manage a pull vs a good lucian. Believe me I tried. He has the range and the mobility to deal with you. The good part is; if you do miraculously pull him, he can't disengage really well like other champions... so as long as you land your Q, that all in should work out for you. But most of the time, you'll just be farming it out and trying to avoid auto attacks. TL;DR Just farm and avoid damage when possible. If you do manage an engage, save Q for after he E's to not make it go to waste. Krpytonite: Tabi's, Thornmail and Randuins.
Lulu
Ardent Disease.
Another champion who's whole existence is to shut you down. She hyperbuffs her carries with attack speed, movement speed and sheilds + her ult knockback HP gain hybrid. Also the ability to polymorph you stops you from doing anything useful to those carries so keep in mind how little impact you will have vs her. But that's not the only reason the champion is hard to deal with. Laning against her is also difficult since she use all those buffs on herself to keep that distance between you and her the way she wants. You're in for a bad time. TL;DR Just farm if you can't pull. make sure ghost is ready if you plan to kill. Keep in mind of her peel power in teamfights.
Kryptonite: Maw of Malmortius and Adaptive Helm
Lux
It's gonna be hard considering her range and root for any engage plans you have. She can also sheild quite a bit of damage with her W so you also have to deal with that. Overall, you're gonna have to try and dodge her Q and get a pull off. If the pull connects, it should be a free kill since she is a squishy immobile after all. However vs good players they won't allow such a mistep to happen so you'll find yourself farming the lane out. TL;DR Just farm if you can't pull. Try to dodge her Q and R when you can. Kryptonite: Maw of Malmortius
Malphite
If you are awake this matchup is easy. Just E when he throws Q so that he stays melee range and can't run away. When he presses E, Path with him until you know your auto comes back up. This is an easy lane so dw worry about it. TL;DR Pull when he throws Q. Land your Q and orbwalk correctly.
Kryptonite: Maw of Malmortius and Black Cleaver
Malzahar
Defensive pick tbh. He has his passive to make sure you are unable to start with a pull, which means you have to Q to put it out. The problem is with the distance he stands at, it sounds like a joke to "just Q him". But with slightly lower ms than you, you can rush boots and make that attempt. If he's still too fast or you can't cover the distance, you'll just have to farm it out. The biggest problem will be the ult focus on to you in teamfights or ganks. Kepp this in mind. Perhaps you may be forced to buy QSS because 2.5s suppression is enough damage for the team to completely remove you out of the battle. TL;DR Farm it out and invest in QSS to avoid lockdown. IF you can reach him, take his passive with Q then pull and all in. Kryptonite: Maw of Malmortius, Mercurial scimitar and Adaptive Helm
Maokai
Sure he can dodge your Q with W but if you slow him after he does that you can just chase and chop the tree down, it's not that hard. Just stay on him and you'll win the trades. He doesn't do enough damage. Also stay away from bushes that he threw saplings at to avoid % HP damage. TL;DR slow/pull when he presses W/Q
Kryptonite: Black Cleaver and Maw of Malmortius
Master Yi
I should put him threat level 5 because that's how dangerous he is post rageblade but the fact you kill him in lane pretty easily makes him a lower threat. Although he can dodge your Q with his Q, if he does that in the middle of the minion wave, you will still win it. it's too much aggro and he has not much else left in his kit. Be aware of his mid-late game: It's just too much damage to deal with- E's True damage and Botrk all at a high attack speed. In teamfights you will want to save E for after he Q's to put him under CC for your team. So TL;DR abuse him until he reaches his core items, because after ragebalde and botrk, he will overwhelm you.
Kryptonite: Tabi's and Thornmail
Miss Fortune
ADC Kingdom. If i'm not mistaken, she has movespeed on one of her abilities. This makes her a kiting threat. When played correctly, you won't be pulling her. Of course if you do manage to pull her, she doesn't have anything to answer back so she's as good as dead. It's common sense but if she ults, move out of the way or pull her to cancel the channel. But lets be real, she'll be quite a distance away so just try not be in the zone in the first place.
TL;DR If you can't pull just farm.
Kryptonite: Tabi's, Randuins and Sterak's
Mordekaiser
You can easily see his Q and E coming so dodging it is easy. I guess his Q is faster so if you're gonna get hit by it then stand in the minion wave to not recieve isolated damage. But his E can be dodged so there's no exuse. As for his ult, it's a really good thing. If he's using it on you, that may mean you have nobody to help you but it does mean there's nobody to help him which means you outright kill him as long as you're landing your Q's. Sure there is his 10% stats steal but it's not enough to make him win the 1v1.
TL;DR Dodge Q and E and land your Q's.
Kryptonite: Maw of Malmortius, Adaptive Helm, Mortal Reminder and Thornmail

I don't see a scenario where you pull her because she can watch the animation and still click E. I've seen it happen many times. On top of her already being ranged, waveclear heavy and zone control with Q to make sure you don't try any all ins. I'd say she's a farm lane. Unless you can dodge her Q, you'll need a lot of tenacity since her Q actually lasts up to 3 seconds. If she misses Q, you can ghost and chase until the black sheild expires to pull her. In teamfights, remember she has R to stun multiple people and can cast E on other allies.
TL;DR just farm.
Kryptonite: Maw of Malmortius and Adaptive Helm
Nami

She's not as good as Lulu and Janna so that's the positive side. But she isn't that easy to pull, she can press E or W to instantly grant some movespeed to run from your pull range. Of course if you still manage the pull, she doesn't have the damage or disengage to deal with you so focus on that pull scenario. Rush boots and try to get a pull, she doesn't have any good combat stats, she's not supposed to be laning. TL;DR If you can't pull just farm.
Kryptonite: Maw of Malmortius and Mortal Reminder
Nasus
In order to smash this lane, you must understand one thing above all: wave management. I ain't gonna lecture you, it's simpler than it sounds. Do not push the wave levels 1-2 and do not attack him levels 1-2. If you follow this rule you'll get yourself a kill because the wave is closer to your tower which means Nasus needs to stick his neck out to get farm. That's where you chop it off. Press ghost so lower the use of his W and all in. Keep stomping and do what you can to deny his stacks. As long as you are hitting your Q's you should win the lane. TL;DR nah.... read it, you need to.
Krpytonite: Tabi's, Thornmail and Mortal Reminder

He's a joke, he doesn't deal enough damage to pose as a threat. Hook him if he tries to Q away and just kill him whenever you want post level 2.
Krpytonite: Black cleaver
Neeko
She's kind of hard to deal with. The On hit version is harder because she'll be using her W moveseed more often so pulling her is gonna be a mission. The AP version will be a bit easier since they play less around their W and can accidentally get hooked more often. Either way i'd say you're gonna be farming and avoiding poke for a long time. If you do manage to pull her, then hit ghost to stay on her, you should win the all in. Her damage isn't enough if you're both in melee range. TL;DR Just farm since hooking her is too hard.
Kryptonite: Adaptive Helm and Maw of Malmortius if AP / Thornmail, Tabi's and Adaptive Helm if On Hit.
Nidalee
I can only imagine one type of player to pick nidalee top- hardcore nidalee OTP's. Because nidalee is a mechanically intensive champion and not many players can handle her. So if you come across an inexperienced nidalee, you'll kill her at first sight. But for those hardcore otp's, you can't. They kite you well and if they are in melee form, they know how to reset their pounce multiple times and more often than not, will just jump over a wall or jump into your Q to go for the kill. TL;DR She's still one of those pull if can type of champs, just don't do it if you're low since her dodge on your Q will get you killed. So Just farm. Kryptonite: Maw of Malmortius and Mortal Reminder
Nocturne
There isn't much to say, just save R for after he presses W. If he uses W for your Q then just auto+kite away until 5 stacks and R. If the fear is going to connect, you can pull him to create CC whilst you're still feared. And that's about it, he doesn't outscale you so dw. Kryptonite: Tabi's, Thonmail and Sterak's Gage
Nunu & Willump
Not much to say, he doesn't out damge you and he's melee so engaging him won't be a problem. Just pull him when he presses W to flee because slows won't work.
Kryptonite: Black Cleaver and Mortal Reminder
Olaf
Conqueror is really good on him which makes him dangerous- escpecially for non-ghost players. The counter though, is easy: ghost and dodge axes. make sure you're hitting your Q's, don't pull him when his R is active and walk away from axe drops to lower his total dps. Also, Olaf's Ult doesn't put him back on the ground from a knockup mid-air which means if you pull him before he casts R- even if he presses R mid pull, he can't auto until he's been chestbumped.
TL;DR Ghost and dodge axes.
Kryptonite: Tabi's, Thornmail, Mortal Reminder and Sterak's Gage
Orianna
More than just a decent mage. her waveclear and zone control is really good. CS'ing isn't a problem too because of her passive. You will suffer a lot of poke and it will slow you which prevents retaliation. So it looks like you're going to be farming this one out. However if you do manage a pull, make sure to use ghost to soften the slow and try to stick to her. She doesn't have enough damage to duel so you should win the all in. But since this is more of an IF than a WILL scenario, just farm up and avoid poke where possible. In teamfights, avoid huddling since 3-5 man shockwaves turn tables really fast. TL;DR If you can't pull her, just farm. When her R is up, don't huddle in skirmishes.
Kryptonite: Maw of Malmortius
Ornn
He has very high base damage, so if you play it wrong you'll lose lane. You need to keep hitting Q's successfully, keep trades long and dodge Q when you can. His brittle and W deal %hp magic damage so make sure he's not successfully disengaging when he procs brittle. Also, the brittle proc cancels auto attacks so keep that in mind, Maybe walk foward a bit instead of channeling an autoif he goes for th proc.
TL;DR keep trades long, dodge his Q, don't miss yours pull him when he recasts R. Kryptonite: Black Cleaver, Maw of Malmortius and Adaptive Helm
Pantheon
Probably one of the few melees i consider this level of a threat. I say this cos his Q is lower cd than your Q and he has two ways of denying your Q. You do outscale him but you need to play early properly. Doran's sheild is MUST and don't Q for nothing, you only Q when his W is down. because even if he blocks it with his E you still heal off it. If he misuses E you can go for the all in. You should win if you aren't behind in exp. In teamfights, be careful with your R since he can block it. TL;DR Dorans sheild and Tabi's rush. Don't Q when his W is up and careful with your R vs his E.
Kryptonite: Tabi's, Sterak's gage and Thornmail

You out-trade her so much so i wouldn't worry about it. Just avoid walls, walk over her sheild, pull when she tries to R or hit R just before she knocks you away and try not to get hit by the aftershock damage on her Q.
Kryptonite: Black Cleaver and Tabi's
Pyke
This champion can't waveclear in lane. But if you find him, you still probably won't kill him because he will E W away on all engages, but since you are scaring him off 24/7 you have a huge cs lead. so just Punish him for cs. Kryptonite: Mortal Reminder and Tabi's
Qiyana
Not sure what this champion does, but as far as i know it's two dashes and an invsibility. If you rush Tabi's and keep auto attacks on her and keep hitting Q, you should still win. She's not tanky enough to tank your damage so even if she dodges Q it's still favoured for you. Careful in baron and dragon pits since those chokepoints are good spots for her ultimate. TL;DR Try to stay on her during trades, the longer the trades the better. Kryptonite: Tabi's and Sterak's gage
Quinn
ADC Kingdom.
If I'm being honest, you can't outright kill her. If you pull she just disengages with E and it's over. So all i can say is, try to space well and stay near your caster minions so she suffers some kind of damage for poking you down. Remember to ping MIA at 6 since she can go mid easilywith her R movement speed. TL;DR just farm it out and avoid poke. Kryptonite: Tabi's Randuins and Thornmail
Rakan
He can't do anything alone. There's not much to say, Just hit your Q and all in. he doesn't do enough damage. What I can say is be careful in teamfights since he has 3 dashes to use.
Kryptonite: Black Cleaver, Maw of Malmortius and Mortal Reminder
Rammus
I'd say he has Ornn Level damage but he's nowhere near as decent as Ornn. If he Q's just E and out damage him in the all in, he can't kill you. Rammus is easy, any Darius main will tell you the same thing.
Rek'Sai
You won't need to worry about her dodging Q's she has to be underground for that. She sucks in lane tbh so i wouldn't worry, She can Ult to dodge your Q but that's if you're low to ensure her ult does full damage. However she dosn't do well in all ins compared to you and has bad waveclear, you'll win this one usually. Just remember to walk over olf tunnels to deny mobility and you'll be fine. TL;DR she sucks in lane, so just all in her.
Kryptonite: Tabi's, Thornmail and Sterak's gage
Renekton
I think this champion has no dps. He has to weave in and out a lot, he can't extend trades like jax for example. So what i'm trying to say is, try to stay on him when he trades with you. If the trades are extended, you will win. Do not miss Q, this is a very Q-hit reliant lane. Save it for after he dashes. If he dashes into you to land a stun, walk foward and pull him back. Then all in from there.
TL;DR when he E1, walk foward and pull him on E2. Extedned trades favour you escpecially when his E is on cooldown. Kryptonite: Tabi's, Thornmail, Sterak's and Mortal Reminder.
Rengar
Fight away from bushes. If he leaps onto you from a brush, just pull him if he tries to go back into the bush, otherwise continue the all in, you should win unless you're down in exp. I would say respect him level 1-2 because he can double Q but after level 3, it's darius-favoured. He won't have the dueling potential; all he will be able to do is try to juke you with bushes and jumping on minions which is why I told you to stay away from bushes. Be aware that if he hasn't used W he can heal back some hp from taken damage, However if he does the empowered version of this, he sacrifices using Q damage to hurt you. In teamfights, you want to pull him as soon as he lands anywhere near you to stop his combo. Other than that he's not a problematic champ. TL;DR Respect level 1-2 and stay away from brushes, change gears at level 3 onwards. It will be safe to all in from then. Kryptonite: Tabi's, Thronmail, Mortal Reminder and Sterak's gage.
Riven
You need to understand her combos. The combo i see her do mostly is a form of poke. the lead in with Q, auto, W, auto EQ away. The scary part is there are many other ways of doing this. But the most important part you need to know is to make sure she doesn't manage the get-away. SPace yourself so that she needs to use her Q more times to do the poke damage. This means she won't be able to run as easily since she used her mobility t o get to you in the first place. You can't be missing your Q's you gotta hold on to it, perhaps you have to pull into Q. You can pull her 3rd Q to deny they damage and CC. but honestly the most crucial part of the matchup is just understanding the combos, getting Q to land and making sure she doesn't get a chance to retereat in her poke combo's. If she tries an all in combo from full hp she will lose. she has to do her full combo from at least 60%-70% HP for it to work out for her. TL;DR you're reading this for sure. Kryptonite: Tabi's, Thornmail and Sterak's Gage.
Rumble
He does have a bit of poke which will make you struggle to pull him but it's not enbough to keep the distance large enough. Eventually he will need to auto a minion and that's when you pull him. From there you just auto win the all in. Rumble doesn't have any mobility to dodge Q or any way to deal with your upront damage so as long as the pull connects and you hit your Q's you should win. Stand behind minions to not get poked by his E and get to of his ult zone as soon as possible if you're on top of it. TL;DR, Stay behind minions to avoid E damage and walk out of R zone. Go for pulls when he auto's a minion. Kryptonite: Maw of Malmortius and Adaptive Helm
Ryze
Let's assume he has Phase rush because if he has conqueror he is 1 less threat level. There's a reason this champion is dominant. He has the damage, he has the CC, he has the late game, he has the safety and multi-use ultimate. He's a jack of all trades. Pulling him to begin with is already a challenge with his range and even if you do manage it- he will E W Q = You are rooted and he procs phase rush. By the time the root ends, the gap you closed has been re-opened and the melee confrontation is over. He also has a different form of escape: if you manage to pull him, he can cast R and port out since you have no hard cc left. it's going to be a struggle killing him so finally my advice would be to just farm it out. You might be able to get ONE kill at level 4 when he is oom, but that will be a big IF he stands in your E range. He's just hard to deal with since it's down to him making a mistake. TL;DR Just farm and don't stand near minions to avoid EQ spread damage. Kryptonite: Maw of Malmortius and Adaptive Helm.
Sejuani
She doesn't do enough damage to threaten you. Sure she can dodge your Q but she ain't dodging it a second time since the cd is too long even then it doesn't matter. Just punish her when she goes for cs. There's not much she can do to you apart from cc you. TL;DR just punish her when she tries to cs. Kryptonite: BLack Cleaver
Senna
ADC Kingdom.
I think she's a weak ADC tbh. she has a root and untargetable spell but only in terms of auto attacks. Just avoid poke to deny her stacks and try to dodge her root if you see it coming since it's slow travel speed. If you pull her she's dead, Her root is delayed so even if it hits you you can still chase and try to manage the pull. TL;DR if you can't pull just farm. Avoiding her Q auto poke will denyy her stacks. Kryptonite: Tabi's, Thornmail and Randuins
Shaco
Interesting champion tbh. Don't get baited into his boxes and you can manage the lane. This means no walking into bushes and no walking to where he's wiggling. Let him come farm then fight him. If he walks back to a specific zone it's because that's where his boxes are so let him go if you can't pull him back. To detect what's not the clone is to Q both and check which took less damage. The clone is squishier. If you can't Q them then use auto's but careful since that will take longer. usually i just try to kill both and judge both shaco's behaviour and go off that. TL;DR don't get baited into boxes and kill both shaco's.
Kryptonite: Tabi's, Maw of Malmortius, Thornmail and Adaptive Helm
Shen
He does a bit of damage but that's only with Q, after 3 auto's he does negative damage. That means in drawn out fights you win. However good shen players will Q 3 AA and dash out to not carry out the extended trade. I should add that you need to avoid standing on his passive sword so that he slows you less and deals less damage to you in the long run. In terms of our all ins: I would pull him, walk foward and ghost so that when he dashes out i can still chase. Stay aware of his W because you don't to waste W on that. Also when he is level 6 he can R bot lane to save them or help with a dive. I'm kinda selfish and let him port bot so that i have free plates and uncontested minions but if you think it's gonna impact the game you can Pull him from the channel. Just ping when he's 6. TL;DR Walk foward and ghost when fighting Shen with he's E up and play around his W to not waste your W. Kryptonite: Black Cleaver
Shyvana
As long as you're not eating poke and keep landing your Q's this is a free lane. just manage the pull and kill her. Kryptonite: Tabi's, Thornmail, Maw of Malmortius and Adaptive Helm.
Singed
Don't chase him 4Head. Just slow him and pull him when he's trying to run away, if you're landing your Q's you're gonna kill him. Try your best to stay out of his W and Move around to manipulate his E to a more favourable position. If he wants to fling you back to your tower just walk backwards and he will hold onto it or fail the E. Kryptonite: Maw of Malmortius Black Cleaver and Adaptive Helm (PS if he's proxying just leave him and free farm)
Sion
This is another easy lane. His Q is easy to see coming and cancel/dodge. His damage doesn't compare to yours either. Just focus on sticking on him when you're in the all in. Kryptonite: Black Cleaver and Tabi's
Sivir
It looks like you can't touch her because of her spellsheild vs your E. But i guess you can just run at her and bait the sheild out. However this "run at her" strategy sounds sketchy. I imagine you're just going to be farming it out because closing the gap doesn't sound realistic. If you do manage the pull, save your R for after the spell sheild is on cd so it doesn't go to waste. TL;DR Just farm, if you manage the pull then save R until after her E. Kryptonite: Tabi's Randuins and Thornmail
Skarner
I forgot this champion exists. He's melee with no mobility, just keep landing Q's and you're fine. But the real challenge is finding someone who plays skarner. I don't know if his Ult is worth getting QSS for, i'll leave that judgement to you. Kryptonite: Black Cleaver and Tabi's
Sona
Ardent Disease.
She's ranged and has movespeed in her kit to help keep a distance but she has severe mana issues so it will cause her to go OOM fast. If she doesn't go oom then she's going to be a problem since pulling her won't happen as easily. She has low base ms which means with boots rush you might be able to run her down and pull her but if that doesn't happen then you'll just be farming. Also watch out for her ult in teamfights- it's game changing. TL;DR Just farm if you can't pull her and watch out for teamfight ultimates. Kryptonite: Maw of Malmortius and Mortal Reminder.
Soraka
Ardent Disease.
If you don't get hit by her Q you can run her down. She's slow and can't kite if her Q doesn't hit you. She really shouldn't be solo laning but i've played vs some so just listen. Dodge her Q and stay out of E's root. if you pull and dont' get rooted, you're fine. You'll want to lower her healing so get executioners after laning phase to nullify her usefulness. TL;DR Dodge Q and stay out of E zone. Executioners if your team isn't buying any.
Kryptonite: Mortal Reminder and Maw of Malmortius.
Swain
Darius and Swain go way back... Lore memes aside he's not that hard a matchup. Even though his Q deals mmore damage closer you are because it's 9 bolts spreading (think like a shotgun) you still have more damage than him early on. post level 9 you can't be affording to miss Q's because his Q gets a really low cooldown at max rank and is a lot of damage to tank up. If you have troubles pulling him just rush boots and you'll be able to reach him. His teamfighting is pretty strong with his R so get grievious wounds if he's too powerful.
TL;DR: After the pull, you just keep sucessfully hitting your Q and you should win.
Kryptonite: Maw of Malmortius, Adaptive Helm and Mortal Reminder.
Sylas
He has been nerfed to the ground and doesn't have an escape. He can dodge your Q but doesn't have enough damage to finish you off in the 100- 0 all in. If you all in at full hp you should win. This champion isn't good atm. His R doesn't work will if he steals yours so just remember that he can take one of your teams' in teamfights. Kryptonite: Maw of Malmortius amd Mortal Reminder. (thornmail if the enemy team consists of AD's since he auto's a lot and heals from W)
Syndra
She has good zone control with her QE disengage vs you. So even if you land the pull you need to somehow dodge the stun or she can escape. If you pull her try to walk on top of her so that she misses the QE entirely and hit ghost to grant some unflinching tenacity to get off stun soponer. Dodge Q as much as possible and make sure you have Magic Resist post 6 cos her ult is well known for being a 100-0 ability. TL;DR dodge Q and farm. Kryptonite: Adaptive Helm and Maw of Malmortius.
Tahm Kench
He's been nerfed to underground so i wouldn't worry about him. He can't use Q to generate stacks for his W which is a huge nerf. Even pre-nerf he wasn't stronger than you because in an all in, as long as you hit your Q's you'd beat him. He's immobile so he isn't dodging any of them. He's just not a problematic champion. you can stand behind minions to not get hit by Q and save your R until his sheild goes low enough. TL;DR Stay behind minions to negate Q damage and conserve R when E shield is up. Kryptonite: Black Cleaver and Maw of Malmortius
Taliyah
The only thing difficult about her is closing the gap. If you manage the pull and hit ghost, you can dodge her W knockback and you don't have significant dashes that would trigger her E so outdamaging her and sticking to her is easy. She also doesn't have a good in-combat ultimate so don't worry about that, Just stay behind minions if she Q's. TL;DR stand behind minons when she Q's, ghost when you pull her to dodge W with ease, Kryptonite: Maw of Malmortius and Adaptive Helm
Talon
He's just going to be pressing W all laning phase so you won't get too many pull opportunities. But as a melee champion he must get some cs with auto's and that's where you pull and all in him, just try to dodge the second W if you can because this guy deals damage. Try not to eat too much poke because if he pokes pokes pokes and then all ins you lose because it isn't a 100% HP fight, it's more of an execution rather than a battle. He can dodge your Q with his Q so save your Q. He can also hop walls at level 3 so remember to keep him away from them in all ins. TL;DR Dodge W return damage and save Q for after he Q's. Keep fights away from walls. Kryptonite: Tabi's, Thornmail and Sterak's Gage
Taric
As long as you keep hitting your Q's this matchup is easy. You outdamage him and he has no mobility. Try to dodge his E and play carefully around his ultimate so that you don't get your ult negated. Kryptonite: Black Cleaver, Maw of Malmortius and Mortal Reminder
Teemo
Even though he can kite, his range is too low to make it effective. That means pulling him is easier than Caitlyn for example. Just make sure you're doing this at a healthy HP bar threshold (75%) to commit to the all in. Play around his blind so don't W under his Q debuff. wait until it wears off. HIt ghost in all ins because shrooms slow you significantly. If you land Q's you'll win the trades. If he places a new shroom and a minion will detonate it, run out of the explosion radius to avoid damage and the slow. TL;DR Conserve W when he uses Q, utilise ghost in the all ins and get out of explosion radius of new shrooms. Kryptonite: Maw of Malmortius and Adaptive Helm
Thresh
He's not supposed to be laning. If he's Ad he's squishy and has bad abilities for and AD champion. If he's AP he has no waveclear and is still squishy. If he's a tank, he has no damage to threaten you AND no waveclear. all he can do is flay you away if you hook him. In which you hit ghost and continue on your persuit. Kryptonite: Black Cleaver and Maw of Malmortius.
Tristana
ADC Kingdom.
You're not really supposed to kill her since she has the range advantage and the W escape. Also her bomb resets her W so she has 2 opportunites to escape. Not to mention she gets more range per level making it difficult to close the gap. Post 6, she can just ult you back if she thinks you can kill her so it's another safety measure. She has to like... i don't know... spill water on her mouse for you to be able to full combo her. TL;DR just farm up. Kryptonite: Tabi's, Thornmail and Randuins.
Trundle
If you play out of his W you should win this. He cna maybe pillar you into missing your Q but he can only do that once in the all in so you're supposed to laned the second one. Anyway, just stay out of his W zone and he's not a good champion. In teamfights play carefully since he can R you and make you squishy. You won't be able to frontline as you're used to. TL;DR Stay out of W zone. And play cautiously when he ults you in teamfights. Kryptonite: Tabi's, Cleaver, Thornmail and Mortal Reminder
Tryndamere
If you don't want to respect him level 1 then don't leash jungle and punish him for stacking fury early on. He has more attack speed than you so in all ins yo need to kite the fights out to make your attacks count. When he ults, kite him out for 3 seconds then chase him at the last 2 so that he doesn't escape and Q heals for survival. Obviously save your Q for after he spins and last but not least use E to cancel an auto when it matters the most. TL;DR read it. Kryptonite: Tabi's, Thornmail, Randuins and Mortal Reminder.
Twisted Fate
He can kite a bit and stun you but that's about it. I guess he can hit R then R again to escape if he gets hooked but i don't think that makes him a huge problem. He's not even supposed to be top lane, it's too isolated to make his R useful. You should be able to hook him and out damage him for sure but if you can't hook him then just farm. In teamfights, be aware that he's just gonna be a stunbot support so play around your team to help you whilst your gold carded. TL;DR If you can't pull him just farm. In teamfights play close to your team so they can help you if you get stunned by him.
Kryptonite: Maw of Malmortius

The only fustrating part of this champion in my opinion is you're walking at him and he presses Q defensively. When he re-appears you just walk at him again and then pull him with ghost. He's not good in lane so I wouldn't worry about it. He's an immobile low damage champion. One hook and he's dead.TL;DR rush boots and run him down when his Q is on cooldown. Kryptonite: Tabi's, Thornmail and Randuins
Udyr
Respect his level 1-2. He out damages you easily. Level 3 and onwards, he's just a bad champion. The only reason people play him is through pure passion like Trick2G. Anyway, he doesn't have clear ways of dodging your Q's so don't worry too much. Kryptonite: Tabi's, and Thornmail. Adaptive Helm if he goes Phoenix.
Urgot
Long story short: Urgot is bad into Darius. He can't reliably dodge your Q since his dash has a delay. You can position yourself to not get hit by all shotgun legs and his Q can be dodged and predicted. Also if he misses Q you can all in for free. I don't think this champion is good enough. Only after multiple items he's a real threat. Careful in teamfights beause he can ult you and let his team do the damage and put you in execute threshold. TL;DR Dodge his Q, stay in the non proced zones of his W, keep landing your Q and pull him if misses his Q. Kryptonite: Black Cleaver, Tabi's Mortal Reminder and Thornmail.
Varus

Avoid what poke you can and try to pull him before 6 because he has no way of stopping an all in before 6. Post 6 you'll have to rely on hitting ghost to make the CC wear off faster. But if you can't pull him then just farm. Stay alert in teamfights since his Ult spreads. Kryptonite: Tabi's, Thornmail and Adaptive Helm
Vayne
Ban
Veigar
He's like Ryze but no disengage. Find a way to pull him and hit ghost to chase him down. If he presses E do one of 3 things. 1' Get out of the initial cast to begin with. 2' If you're in the first 0.1 seconds of the cage, just take the cc so it's over and done with and keep chasing if he's still in reach. 3' dodge skillshots within the cage. TL;DR If you can't pull just farm. But try to pull since he outscales. and avoid his E. Kryptonite: Maw of Malmortius and Spirit Visage
Vel'Koz
He's got a lot of range and damage. He also has true damage so you have to be careful. Your best bet will be to make an attempt to dodge skillshots as best as you can. make sure you aren't getting hit by his Q because that follows up for his E into a W for a full combo R execution. TL;DR Dodge skillshots as best you can and rush boots for ealry pulls. If you can't pull because he's still too far, just farm. Kryptonite: Maw of Malmortius and Spirit Visage
Vi
Smash her. She might be able to dodge your Q but she's really bad in lane and has mana problems. You can kite her andd out damage her. She's all yours. Kryptonite: Tabi's and Thornmail
Viktor
His W no longer puts you airborne so tenacity works well against him. Q evolve meta is gone so he can't kite you well enough. And if he does take Q evolve first then he has bad waveclear. Anyway, just try orb around his W after pulling him. As long as you ghost and lnad Q's you'll be fine. TL;DR If you can't pull him just farm. Kryptonite: Maw of Malmortius and Adaptive Helm
Vladimir
He's a safe laner but he lacks damage early on. With Phase Rush being his most picked keystone and his 3 part combo procing it, He has a good disengage if he gets pulled. However even if he does that, if you have enough distance to travel, you can just ghost and chase him regardless. just remember to not waste Q because his W will nullify it. Also, rush boots to try and close the gap. TL;DR ghost after pulling and conserve Q vs his W. Kryptonite: Maw of Malmortius and Mortal Reminder
Volibear
He's garbage, just ghost and kite around him if he ults. Pre-6 just hit you Q's. If you miss he will outdamage though, he has high early game base damage for a tank. Kryptonite: Black Cleaver, Thornmail and Mortal Reminder
Warwick
He's cheesy. Like really cheesy. Thing is he gets outscaled really fast though. His Q can make him dodge your Q so you might want to hold on to your Q until he uses it. On top of that, his Q makes him immune to displacements which means your E will fail during the animation if he holds on to his Q cast. So if you know when he's going to use Q, conserve your Q and E. Post 6 he has two way of dodging Q but really it's a gimmick since he will either lack damage or tankiness. If in doubt ghost and kite him in all ins because he has no form of safe poke. TL;DR as long as your Q's hit you win that. Bramble vest hard counters him btw. Kryptonite: Cleaver, Thornmail, Tabi's, Maw of Malmortius and Mortal Reminder
Wukong
Since his rework he now has 2 ways of dodging your Q which means you may have to pull into Q during an all in. I still think his damage is M.I.A in an even all in so if he does fight you just stay on him with ghost. Post 6 drop your attempts to all in him with ghost because his R knocks you up twice. Just farm and zone if you can. Last but not least careful in teamfights because you don't want to get wombo comboed and ulting th clone. Kryptonite: Tabi's and Thornmail.
Xayah
ADC Kingdom.
You gotta watch out for the root beause that will stop you from continuing the all in. However if i recall correctly she has a movespeed boost in one of her abilities which makes closing the gap a weird topic. If you can't pull her then just farm up. Remember when she has R she can root you right after landing because she places enough feathers for a root. In teamfights, if you try to kill her keep in mind of the root so that you do your best to avoid it. If she thinks you can kill her after her R ends, she will flash so follow up with your flash after she comes down. TL;DR pay attention to the feathers and her ultimate to not get rooted and rush boots to try and pull her. If you can't pull just farm.
Kryptonite: Tabi's Randuins and Thornmail
Xerath
He doesn't have any disengage but he is WAY too low risk high reward in my opinion. He has so much range and a stun if you try walk twoards him. You'll get poked out like it's nothing, he has the abilites for that. Your best bet is dodge skillshots and farm. If you somehow do pull him because he turned off his 5 monitors then you can pretty much kill him. He doesn't have an escape. TL;DR Just farm and dodge skillshots. Kryptonite: Maw of Malmortius and Adaptive Helm
Xin Zhao
This champoion is bad quality. He doesn't do damage so it doesn't matter if he dodges Q. But anyway, just save Q for after he E's. It doesn't matter but for good habit's sake just do it. Kryptonite: Tabi's and Thornmail
Yasuo
I used to play yasuo so i usually know where he's going to be dashing to which makes me land my Q's. Anyway, this champion dies too fast and doesn't deal enough damage. You shouldn't have a probelm with him. If you're really REALLY struggling pull him as he knocksyou up so he doesn't ult off it. also dodge his tornadoes when you can. TL;DR dodge tornadoes and learn his dash patterns. Kryptonite: Tabi's, Randuins and Thornmail
Yorick
Kill his ghouls whenever you can, it's his main source of damage so if they are removed he won't do much. You can't be missing Q's vs him either, he has damage escpecially when his ghouls are alive. if you get hit by his E , save your W to kill the wall and back off. if you pull him, ghost and walk around the wall to continue the all in. When he ults do your best to not get trapped in his wall and don't miss your Q. TL;DR This is a hard matchup so read it.
Kryptonite: Tabi's and Thornmail
Yuumi
She does no damage and has no cc. She shouldn't be laning and moves like a slug, she'll die on repeat
Zac
No threatening damage and can't dodge your Q. There's not much more to say. Just be careful with your R in teamfights since you don't want to ult when his passive is up. That's about it. Kryptonite: Black Cleaver, Maw of Malmortius Adaptive Helm and Mortal Reminder.
Zed
Try to dodge his Q's, pull when he auto's a minion, that's an easy way to burn his W, then all in him from there. Post 6 you need to play properly, that means saving Q because he can R to dodge it. if he ults you, you need to dodge his triple Q. You will die if he manages the triple Q, escpecially when he has items. Zed mains have many different combo's with their assassination combos but they all revolve hitting their Q's so dodge it. In teamfights, you should pull him when he tries to ult your carry and yo can also camp his recast shadow if you think he will re-appear there. TL:DR dodge Q, Punish him when he goes for auto's on minions pre-6 and post-6 conserve Q. Kryptonite: Tabi's, Thornmail and Sterak's
Ziggs
He has good zone control with his E but if he gets hooked he's pretty much dead escpecially if you hit ghost and stay on top of him. He might use W to try and separate but if you're on him then you'll just follow where he goes. Just focus on the pull scenario because that's the hardest part. Avoid poke where you can and keep landing your Q's. TL;DR Ghost when you pull and stay on him. Kryptonite: Maw of Malmortius and Adaptive Helm.
Zilean
There's not much to say, double bombs you and makes himself sonic. His Ult also counters yours since it doesn't give a reset. You're boned. Just conserve your R in temfights. Farm up in laning phase and avoid poke where possible. Kryptonite: Maw of Malmortius
Zoe
I don't find her that annoying, Just rush boots and get a pull. Stand behind minions to not get hit by E. When you pull hit ghost and wal foward. She'll either miss E or hit it but you're in her exit path and the sellp will wear off soon. She can take you ghost and use it but you can press W which means she's slow and you're not. She can't use R to dodge Q because it's cast time is too long. TL;DR cba, just read it it. Kryptonite: Maw of Malmortius and Spirit Visage
Zyra
Some of her plants are bait so just pretend you're going to walk on them and make her burn Q or E. Her plants die in one melee auto and i think they die in a Q if they aren't ulted. Whichever way, if she has no plants she won't be dealing enough damage. BUT if you are in melee range of her because you managed a pull, focus her and ghost- you stat check her in fights and she's an immobile squishy. One variation of her plant slows you so ghost will assist you on that. Last but not least she has her Zone Control Ultimate. You want to try and get out of the Venus Fly Traps as soon as because it makes the plants tankier, faster attack speed and slow you. TL;DR Just be aware of her plants and you'll be fine. Kryptonite: Maw of Malmortius and Adaptive Helm
Sett
I'd say you can reliably walk away from him but from my experience, you cannot kill him early game. He does too much damage with his passive, can tank an ability with his W and leaves you too low post 5 stacks. However, that is early game... meaning once you have AD, CDR, HP and all the other stats, you can outsustain and damage him. Just be sure to dodge his W line to avoid true damage and remember his E can displace your Q making you miss it- as well as his R. so if you're near his tower, remember he can walk behind you and RKO you towards his tower same with your tower, he can pull you out of it if he uses it correctly. TL;DR He does more damage than you early, so don't fight him early. dodge his W and bait his E when you can. Be aware of the many ways he can use his R. Kryptonite: Mortal Reminder, Ninja Tabi, Thornmail and Sterak's Gage
Yo, I'm OB.I used to be named Sir Obliterator. I peaked D1 both pre-season 10 and mid-season 10 I'm also known as the Disco Prince back when I played him with Clease Ghost , Blade of the Ruined King and Ohmwrecker . But that playstyle strains the brainand mentals of the Diamond players so I had to tone down the creativity. Honestly my goal is to give you 3 things. 2 Setups and a showcase of what you may not know about the cahmpion. The first set-up is the exciting, exotic and fun set-up. The second set up is the "sheep's" route which is basically just the basic, normal and reliable way so that you have the best chance at winning. I've already given you both set ups. Now we go on to the showcase.
The difference between this guide and the rest i guess, would be a matchup note on EVERY single champion and further mechanics. The purpose is to open your eyes and show you there is still much more to know about Darius. Enjoy the advice; I know it will be useful.
Read before you go in
THIS PART IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART:
If there is one thing I want you to take from my guide it's that there isn't a runepage, an item, a strategy or dark magic that will make you win every single game. Some games will be doomed. YOU WILL LOSE. YOU WILL GET KITED, YOU WILL SUFFER POKE, YOU WILL SUFFER PEEL CC TO MAKE YOU USELESS. Playing Darius isn't nice dreams and sunshines like Ryze. Especially in the upper side of the ladder, you're only going to see "disgusing disease champs". It will feel like it's a battle of what team quality is better, and you can't control that. It sucks but- you just have to toughen through it and keep playing consistenly well and you'll climb. I said climb, not win everything. That means gradually you'll be winning more than you lose. So yeah, just work on your endurance because there are going to be annoying and unwinnable games ahead. You gotta understand plans crash and burn.
THIS IS INTENDED FOR ADVANCED PLAYERS
If you're reading this guide, it is because you already know pretty much ALL the fundamentals and basics of the champion. You know his strength's, you know his waekness'. You know his combos and what your teamfighting plan is. I will not go over stuff you should already have in the bag. The last thing I want to do is waste your time so let's get down to the real deal.

Sheep Set-up Summary
If you're looking for the most optimal, most efficient way of playing darius in the hopes of coming out of the game with 15LP... utilise this. You literally can't argue the build; you got the movespeed , damage , a tonne of HP and resistances. The most important stat you're chasing for is HP and this set up has plenty. It's reliable and offers the most for your team. To be honest, I see only two drawbacks and one of them is argueable. The one drawback is you might get outscaled by hyperscale melee's like Riven and Fiora. You won't be able to duel them towards the late game with this build because you're building more for your team than yourself. That's about it.
Anti-Sheep
Anti-Sheep Set-up Summary
Some people still want to win but just not in the sheep's set-up. For whatever reason, maybe you want to feel unique and don't want to be part of the herd. Don't worry, I've got you covered. I've tried to make this is as optimal as possible even though in terms of optimality, it will never come close to the sheep's standards.
Anyway, Deaths Dance... It hasn't been fully explained. When you are healing from your auto attacks, bleed, Q's, W, and R,s ALSO on multiple champions you are tanking a lot of effective HP. Just focus on your abilites landing on champions and be aware of your mana pool. Missing abilities and wasting mana is going to be your enemy. Just make sure that you don't buy DD before sterak's because DD deals less damage than sterak's
Darius Mechanics
I've made a video that showcases everything in terms of mechanics for darius. I missed out only one mechanic (auto-W-Q but W animation goes under Q) but that's because i'm pretty sure everyone knows that mechanic.
Video Summary:
Tiamat/Ravenous Hydra + Q combo efficiency
R over wall
R wall hops
R wall hop spots
R champion-made wall hops
Bleed duration vs Noxian might buff duration
QSS/ Mercurial Scimitar + R (Airborne Dunk)
E to fix Q aim
E to disclace into R
Macro- Early Game / Laning Phase
Once you get to lane, check what champion you're playing against. I have notes on every single one. Follow the tips as well as the next bit of information:
Remember- League of Legends is a 5v5 game. That means you aren't alone in the lane. You never know when the jungler could appear to help the opponent. That being said. If they have a danagerous jungler such as Elise. You need to play as if she's close the bush. You can't go for every cs you want because you can't be certain on whether or not she punishes you for one of them. So...
Ward at 3 mins
Don't go ham alone if you can't see where she is on the map
Pay attention to her score and the map (if she's 0/0/0 chances are she wants to create impact on your lane) If she ganks a different lane then you are free to go aggressive on your opponent since there's nobody to help.
Make sure you don't mess up minion wave positions when recalling. If you plan to recall, push your lane and make sure it goes under tower to prevent a freeze. A freeze, 9 times out of 10, leads to a jungle gank and you lose minion gold and exp and the enemy laner will create a gap in terms of both of those rescources.
Your Q. This is your bread and butter. to put it simply: don't miss it. For example if you're fighting jax, don't walk up and Q, since he's just going to dodge it with his Q. Understand that missing your Q doesn't help you in anyway possible.
Recalling spots. Sometimes when you're recalling, there's a chance the enemy laner wants to cancel it after killing the minion wave crash under their tower. You can use the new Alcove to recall since nobody goes out of their way to check it after a waveclear event.
Random skirmishes and invades. Someone has to tell you this so I will. Solo exp gets you so far you don't even realise it. If your jungler is duelling for scuttle crab or getting invaded and your laner is going to give some assistance:
Ping to back off
Push the wave relentlessly unless you think the jungle is looking to gank you next (if that's the case just cs normally)
The reason why is because for every minion exp that the enemy laner misses counts to the exp gap that happens during mid-game. CS and exp make snowball differences- Here's an example:
(level 6, 1 long sword vs level 7, 2 longsords)
(level 11, black cleaver vs level 13 black cleaver, warhammer and pickaxe)
(level 13, black cleaver sterak's vs level 16 black cleaver, deaths dance and steark's)
If you keep farming and keep getting calculated kills, snowballing like this will happen. In extreme cases you can reach exp gaps of level 10/11 supports to your level 16 state. You can thank solo exp buffs.
Lastly, try and convince your jungler not to gank on cannon waves. When they do plays like this, they expect you to stop trying to kill your cannon to assist with the gank. The reason that sucks is because 9 times out of 10 the gank just burns their flash. losing a cannon for a flash might sound worth it but that 80g might be what completes your tabi's which can be used to chase for a kill regardless of the junglers intention.
Macro-Mid Game
Let's be honest, everyone knows what to do in the early game. Cs properly, get plates, get first tower and get any available kills. That's straightfoward, but where macro starts to be a real stat is mid-late game. There are so many people who don't know what to do at those stages so let's run through some things.
If the game is really favoured to your team then the game is gonna end soon via grouping as 5 mid and ending the game. But i'm just talking about 20-3 leads.
If the game isn't a landslide then you need to focus on the current objectives. I'm talking about Dragons, Rift Heralds, Towers, Scuttle Crabs, Enemy Jungle Camps and dead laners farm. Take as much as you can but with a bit of caution; don't try to take the entire enemy topside if you don't see the jungler+mid on the map. You don't want to throw all your effort from early game do you?
Take what fights you can win. You need to take into account what summoner spells they have up, what vital abilities they have up escpecially ultimates and if their champion desgin poses a threat to you. Maybe you're fed and have 2 levels above everyone but that doesn't mean you should fight next to veigar. He'll cage you and force a flash from you or you're open to heavy damage. If he has flash then you're both trading summoners which is not good since the ranged gap will persist.
Mid-game to me is like preparation for the late game. But that doesn't mean the game needs to last 40 minutes. The whole point is for you to get to your goal before anyone else does: Level 16.
R damage numbers below
Cleaver = 979
Cleaver + longsword = 994
Cleaver + Jaurim's fist = 1002
Cleaver + Pickaxe = 1017
Cleaver + Jaurim's fist + Pickaxe= 1039
Cleaver + Sterak's = 1082
I've typed it down for you so you know what HP you want to dunk them at to succeed in your resets.
So what i'm trying to hammer home is, farm up for your level 16 then make really descisive fights. But if your summs are up you can make pre level 16 fights for example for a beneficial dragon or a favourable skirmish.
Macro-Late Game
Late game for you starts at level 16.
You're looking for the 3v3 skirmshes, 5v5 teamfights and so on. However some champions will decide to split and you may be forced to attend them. If you're not fortunate with your teams, you attending to the splitpush may leave your team open to a 4v4 and they might lose it and blame you. You're gonna have to make a choice:
1. Group for the 5v4 and get an engage off for a advantageous teamfight and outpush the splitter.
2. Attend the splitter and hope your team doesn't die in the 4v4 /4v5 depending on the splitter and their summs.
3. Stay out of vision but close to your team to bait an engage from them and you come in for a 5v4 advantage
Of course each and every one of those choices has a flaw and a weakness. 1. They can back off or disengage whilst their splitter takes more towers. 2. The splitter can back off or disengage from you whilst the enemy team engages your team 4v4 and come out on top due to your abscence from the teamfight. 3. They can play it saslow and defensively whilst slowly taking down towers in front of your team.
That's if they have a splitpusher though. If they have a teamfighter/engager, you will 100% want to be on the teamfight eruption spot. Something like a Shen doesn't split like a Tryndamere or Jax; it's inneficient for them to split for towers since it will take too long compared to traditional splitpushers.
(However Shen is a weird example because he can split and ult if a teamfight breaks out. But the point is, his damage to towers has no comparison compared to traditional splitpushers like Jax which is why I recommend to join the team and force an engage.)
Objectives also become more important now more than ever such as Baron and Elder dragon. You don't have TP so you have to start pathing towards it 30 seconds before it spawns.
HERE'S THE KICKER: YOU CAN'T FIGHT FOR OBJECTIVES IF YOU'RE DEAD SO DON'T BE FIGHTING 1 MIN BEFORE IT SPAWNS. After all, you prefer a triple kill over a single kill right?
I'm Feeding, What Do I Do?
Avoid further deaths by not overextending
Don't frontline because you'll die first
Peel for who's strong on your team
Keep making sure you get every cs you can escpecially when you're deprived from gold
Don't even look at Sterak's Gage. This item is for those who are even or ahead. The HP is good but if you're extremely behind you need to build HP+Resistances.
Try to shrug off the tilt. Nobody enjoys being 0/4. and chances are that person is shouting at the screen or something. I've been there. Just supress that tilt and play more defensively. If you afk, that just makes the enenmy succeed in their initial plan. Think about the long term. Imagine their faces when you stayed in and drawn out the game to where the early feeding doesn't matter and you win after? It happens. Don't let them have what they want. But the best advice to be given is without a doubt: Don't be behind in the first place.
Bonus
I've kept a sticky note for general improvement everytime i lose a game and I thought it would be somewhat useful for some of you. Hope it helps.
PS: Don't do rift herald if it means your life is on the line. Darius has no escapes so if they catch you doing rift alone, unless you can avoid cc and stack sucessfully, you're dead. Also, you're not tryndamere, you run on mana and don't dps objectives that well so even if you do rift, you lost most of your mana pool and your HP bar. If you do rift try to do it with someone. This saves time and resources.
The End
Congratualtions. You now know everything there is to do with Darius. From here on out I'm gonna make small adjustments, icon implants, bullet point imports, images, general organising and polishing up the guide so it looks easier to read.
Remember: Some games are destined losses. You will lose. No guide on Earth will make you flawless until rank 1. Not to mention you're human so you're guranteed to make mistakes regardless. Don't focus on winning, focus on improving. Because that's what's guranteed.
