I was a hardstuck Gold player for the majority of my League career, but recently climbed to Diamond with Ahri. Follow along my footsteps and let me teach you the ways of this nine-tailed fox!

Electrocute Electrocute is Ahri's best friend! It's a reliable and trustworthy source of damage.

Taste of Blood Taste of Blood helps Ahri stay in lane longer. Extra sustain and survivability are key to Ahri's early game success.

Eyeball Collection Eyeball Collection is an easy way to boost Ahri's damage by providing 30 AP at max stacks.

Ultimate Hunter Ultimate Hunter is IDEAL for Ahri's play style. Ahri is a highly mobile assassin and excels at picking off enemy targets. By reducing her ultimate's cooldown, Ahri is able to make more plays around the map!

Manaflow Band All mages are mana-hungry *****es. Take Manaflow Band to increase Ahri's maximum mana and help her sustain in both laning phase and team fights.

Transcendence Transcendence reduces all ability cooldowns, thus allowing Ahri to cast her abilities more frequently. The more ability haste, the merrier!

Flash This is a mandatory rune. It allows Ahri to reposition herself in tough scenarios. Whether Ahri is chasing an enemy or running for her life, Flash is a game-changing spell.

Ignite Ignite is extremely useful when it comes to assassinating a target or securing a kill. This spell also applies grevious wounds, which is valuable for reducing enemy healing.

Orb of Deception Ahri primarily uses this skill to harass enemy targets and wave clear. It's important that Ahri tries to land both procs of Orb of Deception for maximum damage.

Fox-Fire This ability is very handy for supplying a spike of movement speed. Not only does it provide reliable damage, Fox-Fire also helps Ahri chase or escape a target.

Charm Charm is the strongest form of crowd control in the game. It forces the enemy to walk out of position and towards her team. Ahri should also initiate fights with charm, as it amplifies all abilities within the charm duration.

Spirit Rush Ahri's ultimate provides reliable damage and high mobility. Whether Ahri is trying to dodge an ability, chase a target, or escape a sticky situation, Spirit Rush is the perfect repositioning tool. This versatile ability is what makes Ahri such a slippery fox.

5-7-9 Rule (only applies with Doran's Ring start)
At level 5, Ahri's Q clears the caster minions after 2 auto attacks. At level 7, Ahri's Q clears the caster minions after 1 auto attack. At level 9, Ahri's Q full clears the caster minions.


Basic Poke
For poking in lane, try to fully utilize Ahri's Q range. Hitting targets with the edge of your Q will instantly apply both magic damage and true damage.



Passive Tip
In order to gain the most amount of healing from Ahri's passive, use Q for multiple targets and W for single targets.


Charm Flash Animation Cancel
For an unexpected charm, use E immediately followed by Flash for a faster and longer ranged Charm. This combo is faster than the ordinary Flash + E combo and enemies will not be able to react fast enough to dodge it.



Charm + Ult Combo
After casting Charm, immediately use Ahri's Ultimate in the same direction to hide the Charm animation. This is a sneaky way to land an unexpected Charm.




Make a Pick
Take advantage of obstacles and walls for an unexpected charm on enemies. This is a great way to assassinate a single target.



Calm and Steady
In certain cases, holding Charm to bait out enemy abilities will increase your chances of landing it.



Vision Trick
If Ahri is walking into the Fog of War, use her Q to check bushes instead of face checking. Listen for the sound of her Q to see if she hits an enemy.




W Tip #1
W prioritizes Charmed enemies otherwise W prioritizes closest targets.



W Tip #2
Casting W grants enemy vision of Ahri even if she's in the Fog of War. Ahri's E and Q does not reveal her.
