Hey guys. this is my build for Amumu. hope you enjoy it. it is an ever classic jungle Amumu build with my own personal flair to it. hope you enjoy! please actually try it before commenting or voting!

PROS:

great jungler!
One of the best initiator's in the game!
Great farming!
Tank Destroyer!

CONS:

vulnerable to counter jungling
has to pay close attention to mana throughout the game!

GREATER MARK OF DESOLATION

: armor pen is one of those helpful little things that might not be considered for a jungler, but can be very helpful at the very beginning of the game.

GREATER SEAL OF REGENERATION

: health regeneration will help you incredibly. you regain health in between your jungling spots. and while not a lot at first, by level 4 your regen should be replacing some health pots, leaving you money for other items.

GREATER GLYPH OF FOCUS

: as the tips tab under champion info states, CDR (cooldown reduction) is very powerful with amumu. your ability to throw around your Tantrum and bandages increases your combat prowress incredibly.

GREATER QUINTESSENCE OF REGENERATION

: as stated above, regeneration adds up and will help you a lot in between jungle spots and while taking damage from the jungle beasts.

pretty basic start to a jungling build. Cloth Armor with 5 health pots. you want to build those into Ninja Tabi. next you build into a WRIGLER"S LANTERN. this gives you armor, life steal, and damage. the main reason you want this item is for the free ward. you use this ward for Teleport ganks. as a jungler, your job is to gank for the rest of your team when not in the jungle gaining buff or dragon for your team. next build into a Frozen Mallet, the armor is great to have, the cooldown works well with Amumu, and the mana helps stave off the hunger that you will probably have well into mid game. Shurelya's Battlesong gives you yet more CDR, and the health and mana regen is great to have while building off your runes and other items. the last 2 items are up to you. I usually build up Spirit Visage to get the benefit of you increased health regen. but if you are facing heavy mage onslaught, i would recommend getting the Force of Nature to get the magic resistance.

you want Despair first for the fact that it is AWESOME for killing neutral minions. then go into Tantrum. i like to get another point into Despair at level 3. you finally get a point into Bandage Toss at level 4. this is when you start ganking! be ready to swing into your partner's lane and be sure to land your stun with Bandage Toss! from there just make sure to level up your ultimate whenever you can and have fun!

THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART TO PLAYING Amumu! your jungle is your friend! use it to your advantage! with your Despair ability, you can rack up neutral minions quick and easy. your order should be this:

ANCIENT GOLEM->WOLVES->WRAITHS->GOLEM PAIR->LIZARD ELDER

if you follow that order, you should end up at level 4 quickly. at that point, you should start making the gank rounds. try to focus on the lanes where the enemy is overpushed. the other big thing here is that you will need to jump back to base to get more health pots after you clear out blue side. if your team is warding, dont forget you can Teleport to those as well. if they dont see you Teleport in, they cant target you with a counter gank.

as Amumu, you are a excellent farmer. the simple fack is that your Despair ability levels minions. period. combine that with Tantrum and you take out a minion wave in 5-10 seconds. as a farmer though, you need to put yourself in position to hit the most minions possible with your AoE(area of effect) abilities. dont be afraid to use your Bandage Toss to get in the middle of them! the other point of farming is that if you need gold quick, just lane rather than join the team fight. let your team hold while you get the gold you need.

the biggest thing with Amumu as of team work is that you are the initiator! dont be afraid to be the one to jump in first and throw out your ultimate! you can take multiple enemies out of play for a few seconds. that gives your team a clear and distinct advantage!
