Welcome to my in-depth Yone guide! When Yone first came out, I was HOOKKED into his kit. Yone has so much outplay potential and a high skill cap. It took me around 10 games on my smurf account and hours in practice tool to achieve a 80%+ wr over the next 100 games on my diamond smurf account (I played yasuo so the mechanics transfer quite well) I hope you'll enjoy my guide just as much as I enjoyed creating it!

I hope you enjoy reading the guide as much as I enjoyed writing it. Remember, the only way to get better is to take action! (if the guide was helpful, an upvote is appreciated!)

Since Yone has a very weak early against the other "meta champions", taking Fleet Footwork will be the best option to sustain yourself. Take Conqueror if you are against anything else other than heavy poke.

Just like any duelist, taking Triumph can help you 1 v 2 and even 1 v 3 early game. In theory, you could take Overheal but you really don't need the extra shield when you already have 4 Health Potions.

Attack speed will be crucial for Yone. The more you have, the lower the Mortal Steel cooldown. Legend: Alacrity helps you with the early game. However, if you are experienced, you could take Legend: Tenacity or Legend: Bloodline.

In my opinion, Last Stand is just way more useful than Coup de Grace. In lane, you'll start getting bonus damage once you've hit 60% hp (which will happen in lane and out of lane). I don't really recommend going any other keystones in this section and stick to Last Stand.

This will be another useful keystone for you to survive through early game and get to your powerspike faster. You could opt in for Second Wind if you're against heavy poke champions, but other than that, I would stick with the domination tree.

Yes, I get it. Ravenous Hunter was nerfed to the ground awhile ago. Remember, any life steal on Yone helps alot in the 1 v 1s and 1 v 5s!

If you're playing against a Zoe, Syndra, or any champions that can poke you and abuse you, I would take Second Wind and Doran's Shield with Teleport.

Works great with Yone's W. Bigger shields with more heals can win you a crucial 1 v 1 fight.

Just like most champs, Flash is great on Yone. You could go Ignite + Teleport but expect to get ********ed very early (I mean if you like that, do it by all means:) I basically say this on all of my guides, but it's true. If you don't have Flash, expect to get 4 manned very early.
Since you're playing mid, taking Ignite can increase your kill pressure. You would never really want to take anything else as you need to have the kill pressure to make sure you don't get sh*t on too hard in lane. You could go Cleanse against heavy CC team comps.
Teleport works great if you don't have mid kill pressure and you just want your items. However, I do not recommend going this if you're below Master, since alot of players still don't respect Yone's level 3-4.

Immortal Shieldbow

Just the overall best mythic. Gives you life steal and a huge shield from burst damage. If you are really fed, you could go Galeforce and if you are against alot of tanks, then Kraken Slayer will be the better option.

Infinity Edge

If you're versus heavy poke, build Bloodthirster 2nd and Infinity Edge third. Great item for boosting your damage.

Bloodthirster

You're buying this item for the 20% lifesteal. The damage is ok but not the best. The 20% extra crit that it provides also feels great. I would build Bloodthirster second with Immortal Shieldbow to out sustain enemy poke damage.

Guardian Angel

Once Infinity Edge is built, building an early Guardian Angel could work and turn a fight around. Build this only if you are fed and know that people are coming for your juicy 1,000 gold shutdown.

Death's Dance

Death's Dance is great for heavy ad damage compositions. If you're going against heavy ability power compositions, you can always opt in for a Spirit Visage to greatly increase your healing.

Berserker's Greaves

I would only buy Berserker's Greaves. Only times where I don't is when I'm against really heavy CC team compositions with Leona, Zoe, Elise, etc...

Yone doubles his total critical strike chance from all other sources, but his critical strikes deal only (56.5% + 6.3% to 31.5%) AD bonus physical damage. Additionally, every 1% excess critical strike chanec is converted into 0.5 bonus attack damage. Yone's basic attacks alternate between using his Steel Sword and Azakana Sword on-attack. Yone begins attacking with his Steel Sword, and basic attacks with the Azakana Sword deal 50% AD physical damage and 50% AD magic damage.
No boots? Great! That means one extra offensive/defensive item. This is why Viktor and Cassiopeia are op! Cassiopeia don't need to buy boots and Viktor don't need his hex cores anymore (which means extra offensive/defensive item.)
Yone thrusts his Steel Sword in the target direction, dealing 20 / 40 / 60 / 80 / 100(+1.0 per attack damage) physical damage to enemies hit and applying on-hit and on-attack effects to the first enemy hit. Mortal Steel can critically strike for bonus physical damage. Successfully lading Mortal Steel grants Yone a Gathering Storm stack for 6 seconds
Hitting your Noxious Blast is very important to winning trades and winning the games. The only time that you don't need to hit your Noxious Blast is when you have a teemo/singed/twitch on your team. This way you don't need to land anything!
Yone cleaves with his Azakana Sword in the target direction, dealing 10 / 20 / 30 / 40 / 50 (+11 / 12 / 13 / 14 / 15% of target's maximum health) equal parts physical and magic damage to enemies hit in a cone. The total mixed damage has a minimum threshold of 40-410 against minions and monsters (depending on level). Yone shields himself for 40-60 (+0.6 of attack damage) for 1.5 seconds if Spirit Cleave hits an enemy (depending on level), increase by 100-200% (depending on the number of enemy champions hit).
This makes who Cassiopeia is. Miasma is a great ability for running down people and basically "rooting" the enemies. Place it carefully and you can potentially turn a fight to your favor!

Yone dashes a fixed distance in the target direction, gaining Spirit Form for 5 seconds as well as creating an untargetable clone that is sent the same distance behind the cast location, though not sending it through terrain. After a 0.5-second delay, Yone can recast Soul Unbound.

SPIRIT FORM: Yone resets Way of the Hunter, gains 10−30% bonus movement speed (depending on time active) and marks champions damaged with basic attacks or abilities. Yone stores 25 / 27.5 / 30 / 32.5 / 35% of the post-mitigation physical damage and magic damage he deals to each enemy champion.

RECAST: Yone cleanses himself from all crowd control (except disarm, nearsight, silence and slow), detonates the marks of champions to deal true damage equal to the stored amount, and dashes unstoppably back to his body. After the duration ends or upon dying, Soul Unbound will recast automatically. The recast cannot be used while Yone is immobilized, silenced, or grounded, despite being a cleanse.

Damage dealt by item effects, runes, summoner spells and buffs are not stored.
The healing of your Twin Fang will be HUGGEE late game. With your Ravenous Hunter stacked, it will literally take you 2 qs and some es on the minions to get your hp back!

Yone winds up a forward strike, then blinks in the target direction. After 0.125 seconds, all enemies within a wide linear area are stunned for 0.15 seconds, then immediately dealt 200 / 400 / 600 (+0.8 of attack damage) equal parts physical and magic damage, and pulled towards Yone's blinking position and subsequently knocked up for 0.75 seconds.

Yone will attempt to blink a certain distance beyond the last enemy champion hit. If no enemy champions are hit, Yone will instead blink to maximum range.
Petrifying Gaze will be your self-peel ability. If an enemies dashes onto you or jumps on you ( Camille, Kha'Zix, Yasuo) you can ult and stun them. Then you use Miasma to literally hang them on a thin rope. Don't worry about stunning people with your ult. Be patient. You'll do more damage with your Noxious Blast + Twin Fang anyways.
