[11.10] Talon to Gold (Every Mid Matchup)

By Luciiid
My Personal Talon Stats
My talon stats as of S11 preseason.
Starting Lane Phase (0 minutes)
If it's a melee matchup feel free to auto the minions to shove. Whoever gets level 2 first usually wins, and with the strongest level 2 in the game you'll always win... Unless you get level 2 ganked... That's not nice. Into most mages, aim to get 3-4 CS from the first wave. Let them push into you and then hard shove the second wave to get level 2 first. Then kill them. Check the matchup sections for a better understanding of how to play into each laner. If you have to burn flash and ignite for a very early solo kill, then it is 100% worth, because you can snowball jungle and other lanes very easily.
Early Mid Game (5 minutes)
Start to roam mainly to bot lane, unless the top is squishy. Always help your jungle, especially at scuttles. It gets them ahead and in return, they'll gank your lane.
Mid Game (10 minutes)
Keep roaming and putting pressure on the map. Always make sure to come back to a wave otherwise you'll fall behind in CS. If you are ~0/3 at this point, then just play for lane. If you are ~3/0 then keep it up and keep roaming and helping jungle.
Late Mid Game (20 minutes)
Hopefully at this point your team has secured most objectives, and you've snowballed your lead. You should be the win condition and should be able to walk into any fight and easily 1v2, 1v3, or 1v4. Keep getting pressure on the map and pray that your teammates know how to take towers. In the next 5 minutes or so, you should start to group up, wipe their team, and then end the game.
Late Game (30 minutes)
You start to fall off unless you are very very fed (10/0/0). At this point your main goal should be to either 1v9 if you haven't already, or if you are behind then you need to one shot the enemy adc and/or the squishy mid/support. If your team cant win fights when the enemy's adc is dead... then just FF.
Jungle Clear
Talon's jungle clear is insanely bad and I would never recommend Talon jungle to anybody. Usually start with bot leash, preferable on red side. From here you can do red blue gromp into a gank/scuttle, or red raptors krugs into scuttle. The red blue gromp clear gives you about a 3:10 time clear, ending at around 50% HP. The red side full clear leaves you at ~25% HP at 3:30. Takon jungle is very bad compared to other junglers such as Hecarim, Nunu, Volibear, or Kayn, due to other junglers being able to gank more, and clear faster.
Jungle Ganking
Talon's ganks are overall VERY weak. You only have a built-in slow inside of your kit and even then, it is hard to hit (only being able to be proc-ed with second w). This makes it only viable to take scuttle fights, or use flash and/or R during ganks. Talon's best attribute is his level 2 kill potential, but in jungle, he doesn't have a guaranteed opponent to kill. Because of this it is hard for talon to get ahead and snowball. Since you can only gank with R or flash, you wont have any gank opportunities for a while, but you'll have to force ganks due to your clear being so bad. Do not play talon jungle.
Talon Combos
Basic Combos
    w + q + r + aa = Standard one shot combo for electrocute
    w + q + aa = normal trading combo
    r + q + w + aa = chasing combo
    e + r + q + w + aa = Invis over wall into full combo
    w + r + q + aa = chasing combo

Advanced Combos
w + flash + q + aa = full w to enemy with flash then q aa for passive proc
    w + aa + q + aa + goredrinker + r + aa + q + aa + goredrinker + w = slowest combo for bruiser talon. Maxes out damage. Never use this for electrocute talon.
w + flash + aa + q + aa = w then flash into your opponent. Then auto q auto for passive proc.

Escape Artist - When you are caught out.
    flash + e = flash to a wall then e over it
    r + e = invis then RUN
    q + e = q to a minion then e a wall
    e + r + e = scouting over a wall and running away

**ALL OF THESE COMBOS CAN MAKE USE OF IGNITE. IGNITE BEFORE OR AFTER FULL COMBO**
