Snowballs better than you do this Season, once she hits 6, it makes it very hard for you to predict her abilities. Good Evelynn's have better ganks than you, and once she is fed you cannot come back.
Graves
Graves has a faster and healthy (normally) clear then you. If you catch him at the right time, you win duels against him pre - 6.
Hecarim
Still a difficult match up, but winnable if you can balance farming, with objectives and ganks.
Jarvan IV
J4 is only an issue if the enemies team comp is good. His R is pointless to use against you because you can just W out of it.
Jax
Jax is an OK jungler, I moved him down to a 2 because you don't see that many Jax jungle players compared to S10. His E Q combo counters basically your entire kit.
Karthus
Very squishy which you can kill him with ease if you hit a spear. He has no abilities that help him evade skills shots.
Kayn
10.25, Kayn isn't as broken as he used to be, but is still a significant threat. His clear got hit pretty badly which makes him a lot weaker in general.
Kha'Zix
Still a strong counter,
Lee Sin
Despite Lee Sin's win rate increasing because of his buff, Nidalee isn't phased by him. Lee "Wins at Level 6" isn't true, because you can snowball faster than he does.
Master Yi
Master Yi is an issue because he scales extremely hard, which Nidalee falls off late game. Make sure to abuse him early game. Take Dark Harvest against him to allow yourself as much scaling as possible.
Nocturne
Nocturne is an decent jungler. He is an ok early game duelist, but if you land you spears, you can out burst him. Make sure you watch out for his W when you engage because it can block out any ability. Also, take note whether he takes Lethal Tempo, or Conqueror. Take Electrocute against Nocturne.
Nunu & Willump
Nunu can build full tank, AP, or a hybrid and all 3 of them cause a major issue for you. This match up is totally winnable if you play correctly and he doesn't know what he is doing :). The point is, it's a very difficult, but winnable match up.
Rammus
Rammus is one of Nidalee's hardest counters. His W inflicts grevious wounds when you jump on him. He builds tank making it hard for you to kill him. His ganks are annoying, so you have to ping to warn your teammates. The worst thing about him is his R. Play safe and build items like Morellonomicon, and Void Staff.
Rengar
Beats you early game, but falls off harder than you do. Notice if Rengar takes Electrocute, or Conqueror and adjust how you play accordingly.
Shaco
Good Shaco's counter Nidalee because of their mobility, and once Shaco get's fed it is very difficult to come back.
Shyvana
AP Shyvanna (Most Viable Build) is just another AP burst damage champion. As long as you watch out for her R, you can kill her if you land a spear. You have better 1v9 potential if you get fed over her getting fed.
Trundle
Trundle hasn't been a good jungler for quite some time. Tbh, there are just better junglers than him now, nothing really else to explain -_-
Udyr
Best Jungler In The Game, Will STOMP you if you don't know how to play against him.
Vi
Vi is a difficult match up, if the Vi knows what they are doing. She is able to give early ganks and can win most 1v1's with you. If you land a max range spear before she gets items, you can kill her early.
Warwick
Hard to come back if behind.
Zac
You win early game against him, but once he builds tank, he becomes an issue. End the game quickly.
Xin Zhao
The strongest level 2 duelist in the game. A good Xin will gank every single lane constantly pre 6 hoping to get kills or get their lane kills. Now he takes Conqueror making him even more difficult to fight early game.
Amumu
11.1 Amumu continues to struggle in the meta currently, so is now a minor threat.
Olaf
Goredrinker got nerfed making Olaf less of a threat.
Ekko
He's a decent jungler, but is squishy meaning you can smack him with a combo and he will die.
Pantheon
Pantheon Jungle is frustrating to play against because of his ability to gank well, clear decently (even though they nerfed his Q) and duel well. He can use his E and block most of your damage output, and has an execute with his Q, making him hard to play against.
Lillia
Easy matchup, you can just throw spears and stay far and then dive in and kill her once she is low.
Soraka
Ideal because she constantly heals you and you can constantly heal her.
Lux
Her root is great because it makes landing your spears easier.
Leona
Her tremendous amount of CC is great because you can land spears easier.
Blitzcrank
Blitz is great if you want to invade, plus knocking the enemy up is helpful because your spears are easier to land.
Ashe
Her passive that slows the enemy is somewhat helpful because it helps you hit your spears slightly.
Jax
His stun is great because you can hit your spears easier.
Morgana
Her root is great because you can land your spears easier.
Pantheon
Pantheon support is literally BROKEN with Nidalee. A stun, and execute, what more could you ask for.
Veigar
His cage is great for trapping multiple enemies to dive into.
Pyke
Good for teamfights and his stun.
Yuumi
Yuumi makes you hard to kill :)
Neeko
Her E root is handy for landing your spears.
Malzahar
When he uses his R, its a free spear and you can steal his kill ^_^
Brand
His stun can help you land your spears, and he has an AoE ult which can get them low enough for you to hop on everyone and kill them all.

She got buffed recently making her an issue, however you outrange her and win lane until 6, which then you have to be more careful.
Ahri
Her CC with her E and R make it hard to play against her, but she is squishy and you can kill her easy if you bait out her E.
Anivia
Anivia's rework makes her a good champion again, she's strong and can lock you down with her abilities, also being able to proc Electrocute easily dealing massive amounts of damage.
Annie
Her stun is a major threat, but you can play smart and avoid it, also back up when you know she has her R.
Aurelion Sol
Squishy and one spear combo kills him, isn't much of a threat.
Fizz
Fizz is getting nerfed this patch, but he is still extremely good. Last patch he had a 63% win rate in higher elo's which says something about his immense presence in every game. He will get fed off of you if you don't play safe. I suggest taking the Fleet Footwork runes against him to help you deal damage, but also stay safe.
Galio
Galio got nerfed this patch, making him a less OP, but still solid pick. He counters you because of his W, but you can work around it if you focus on diving in with your cougar form over poking him with you spears.
Kassadin
Scales hard into the late game, which you don't making him a big threat. Also, his teleport becomes an issue because you can't hit him with your spears if he blinks away or into you.
Katarina
Got buffed and now is building AD and Nashor's Tooth, her R proc's new things and it makes her stronger. On-Hit Katarina is a really strong pick in the mid lane.
Malzahar
His R is cancer, but everything else about him isn't much of a threat.
Orianna
Her orb is an issue because if she knows how to predict when your pounce is on cooldown, she can abuse that.
Neeko
Dodge her root, and you'll be fine.
Pantheon
Pantheon's Rework makes him a lot stronger in lane now which is more of a threat to Nid Mid.
Sylas
You win against Sylas in lane.
Syndra
CC heavy, bring Cleanse.
Talon
High burst assassin, better roams than you if you aren't paying attention to the map.
Twisted Fate
He's very immobile and you can easily dodge most of his cards.
Veigar
Poke with your spear, and bait his cage out, and you can win lane, take note that he infinitely scales.
Zed
Zed is broken right now, he can use his W to dodge your spears, but it has a cooldown.
Ziggs
You can outpoke him if you play correctly.
Zoe
Skill Matchup in your favor.

Check Out My New Neeko Jungle Off Meta Guide
I am a Jungle/Mid main that plays Nidalee, Kayn, and Xin Zhao in the jungle, and Yasuo, Pantheon, and Akali in the Mid Lane, however Nidalee is the champion that I play the most by far.
So, whether you are new to Nidalee, or are trying to improve your mechanics with her, this is definitely the guide for you.
Pros & Cons
PROS
Strong Burst Assassin
Extremely Strong Early Game Jungler
Fast Early Game Clear
Great In Higher Elo's
Can CARRY Games
Season 11 Items Are Broken On Her
Flashy Kills (Land Your Spears)
INFO
Nidalee is easy to climb with once mastered.
She has some downfalls also, that can be minimized if you have experience with her, making her a high skill cap champion.
She is was used so much in the 2020 LCS
Cons
Squishy
Takes Practice To Land Spears
Loses HARD To CC
Necessary To Know Matchup's So You Can Change Runes Accordingly
Hard to play if you're behind
Summoner Spells
Flash
You should take this spell on Nidalee 99% of the time, whether you jungle, top lane, or mid lane with her. It's important because it allows you to escape situations where you can't win a trade, allow you to secure a kill, or help you escape a gank.
Ignite
Ignite is necessary for Nid Mid because it helps you win the laning phase. It also allows you to get kills off of roams easier. Taking it on Nid Top is situational, for example you would want to take it against a Yasuo or Akali Top.
Teleport
Teleport is your go-to summoner spell on Nid Top. You want this because if played right Nidalee is a bully early game, so the ideal situation is you get a few kills, then Teleport bot lane and get more kills. It's also helpful if you are behind because it allows you to get back to your lane faster. In general Teleport is better than Ignite for most Top Laners because it scales better late game, making it ideal for Nid Top.
Cleanse
Only take Cleanse if you are playing Nid Mid into a heavy CC champion like Syndra, because Nidalee loses very hard against CC.
Ghost
Ghost isn't good on Nidalee and shouldn't be taken.
Heal
Once again, not the best spell for Nid.
Barrier
A little better than the previous 2 spells mentioned, but it falls off significantly after the laning phase, plus it's useless if you time it incorrectly.
Exhaust
Exhaust is a decent spell for Nid Mid if you are going against high mobility burst assassins or champions that silence or immobilize you. These include champions like Garen, Yone, Talon, and Sett.
Runes
Standard Runes
In short, these runes are the standard runes that most Nidalee players should take. You can replace either or both of the Sorcery runes with Absolute Focus or Waterwalking depending on your playstyle.
On The Hunt
Taking Electrocute over Dark Harvest in this rune build is good because you want to give early ganks as much as possible given that electrocute does more damage than dark harvest early game. You take Relentless Hunter, Magical Footwearto give mobility. Take Cosmic Insight because it assists you having good vision. You take Sudden Impact for extra damage when you Pounce, and Eyeball Collection for extra AP as you get kills. Make sure you take Axe, Diamond, and Shield for an optimal clear. Overall a good rune setup for early ganking, that scale slightly into mid/late game.
Duelist Nidalee
The reason why this odd build is viable is because Conqueror got the adaptive force stacks adjusted, making it easier to stack up and build extra AP. [conqueror] also gives you a tremendous amount of strength in early game duels, which Electrocute and Dark Harvest don't have. Triumph gives you gold back when you get a kill or assists plus gold, making it worthwhile to gank lanes more often, and is good in major teamfights. Legend: Alacrity is good for stacking attack speed, giving you faster clear times as the game goes on. Coup de Grace is great for ganking and works perfectly with Conqueror in early game fights, and will deal loads of extra damage as the game goes on when you get your big items. Sudden Impact and Ravenous Hunter are standard Nidalee runes that make her a stronger champion.
Fear The Spear
Playing Nidalee in the mid lane is a situational pick.
If you decide to play Nidalee in the mid lane, make sure you know your matchups. Champions like Yone, Fizz (still a counter despite him getting "nerfed") and Irelia will destroy you in lane, and you can't do anything about it, taking Dark Harvest is the ideal rune you want to take because landing spears in the mid lane against squishy champions can easily stack this rune, and you also can use Dark Harvest to roam and get stacks, or get kills. Absolute Focus and Scorch are good runes to slowly poke and burn you opponent until you can secure a kill.
Pounce on dat Ashe
Ever wanted to out trade just about every mid laner in the game? If so, these are the runes you want to take on Nid Mid. The most simple combo for an easy trade is Javelin Toss > Aspect Of The Cougar > Pounce > Swipe > Takedown which at this point Electrocute will have proc'ed and you win a trade. She is a really really good Mid Laner but loses hard to CC. If you bring these runes, consider taking Cleanse if you go into a heavy CC champions like Orianna or Syndra.
Fleet Nidalee
Fleet Nidalee is a rune page that I have been experimenting with for the last 2 patches. It is surprisingly good, in the right match up scenarios. In general, the other two rune set ups are better, but definitely take these runes into poking match up, such as Neeko Pantheon and Yasuo. Fleet Footwork gives you 3 handy abilities that charge up just by moving and attacking. Magical Footwear and Cosmic Insight are just good and safe runes to have in any given scenario.
The Ultimate Cheese
OK on hit Nidalee top is BROKEN this season. Like I can't even get words out of my mouth that describe how stupid she is. You can do soooo much with her because tanks aren't as good this season, meaning she can abuse most top laners. Press the Attack is the funniest thing on Nidalee top because she can proc the rune so easy, and it is stupid strong early game, and scales insane into the late game with the items you build on her. If you take these runes, you win carry games if you go against the right matchups. DO NOT take these runes into champions like Yone, Irelia, or Jax because they won't be as effective as Grasp of the Undying Also make sure to take Axe Diamond and Heart on every Nid Top Build.
Tank Nid
Ok Nidalee can get really tanky in the top lane. Being a ranged top laner means you can auto attack the enemies top laner from a distance, making it a lot easier to stack Grasp of the Undying. This rune is so good because you can bully any champion from literally level 1. This includes cancerous champions like Darius Garen and Malphite. Demolish and Second Wind are for utility purpose's, and to help you win lane. Overgrowth is your second to most important rune on making Nidalee MAD THICK. With this rune, you can stack more and more health by simply killing minions. It has endless potential.
Omnistone OP
I HIGHLY suggest you DO NOT take these runes into ranked, unless you know what you are doing, but then again it's trolling taking these runes on Nidalee Top anyway. These runes are for the meme, but I've pulled it off before lmao. Just keep in mind that Prototype: Omnistone is weaker with ranged champions.
Items
HorizonFocus
Horizon Focus is Nidalee's S11 New Core Item. This item is made for her because it proc's when you land a Javelin Toss over 750 units. When you hit them, it marks the champion and for 6 seconds, any damage you do is increased by 10%, meaning when you dive into them, they take WAY more damage.
Riftmaker
This item is situational, I've testing it as Nidalee jungle, but Night Harvester is 1 million times better, still a good item.
Luden's Tempest
Your main powerspike item for Nid Mid. It's a stronger version of Luden's Echo.
Night Harvester
Night Harvester is another Featured Item. This item is good on ANY AP assassin. The fact that it has a 40 second cooldown on EACH champion makes this item BROKEN. You become a teamfight god with this item.
Liandry's Anguish
Liandry's Anguish is the last Featured Item. Take this item if you want to burn the enemy champion while you fight. It is a good option when you are fighting a lot of tank champions on the enemies team.
General Items
Doran's Blade
Standard staring item for Nidalee Top, gives you extra poke damage.
Doran's Shield
An alternative starting item for Nid Top, take this if you go against poking champions like Teemo.
Doran's Ring
Alternative start Nid Top and Standard start for Nid Mid. In both lanes it gives you a slight amount for AP which helps with your Primal Surge and your Javelin Toss.
Dark Seal
Great for snowball potential, can take it in any role.
Mejai's Soulstealer
The upgraded version of Dark Seal, 25 stacks and WE WIN THIS.
Lich Bane
A powerspike item for Nid Mid and Nid Jungle. Proc's when you do any combo, and does massive damage.
Zhonya'sHourglass
Such a good item if you know how to use it correctly. Allows you to dive, helps with survivability, and can create major outplays in teamfights.
Void Staff
Great magic penetration item. Melt's squishy champions, and does major damage to tanks.
Morellonomicon
Helps with champions that heal like Garen and Fiora.
Rabadon'sDeathcap
SO MUCH AP DAMAGE!
Trinity Force
#1 Item on Nidalee Top. You cannot play on-hit Nidalee without this item. It doesn't have an on-hit damage effect, but it gives you attack speed, and movement speed.
Blade of the Ruined King
The main on-hit item for Nidalee Top. 2 passives that do damage off of auto-attacking.
Guinsoo'sRageblade
Second on-hit item for Nidalee Top. Gets rid of critical strike chance, but gives you extra AD and attack speed.
Nashor's Tooth
Your final on-hit item, this item is good because it also provides AP which scales with your Primal Surge especially well.
Mortal Reminder
The crit chance won't take effect because of Guinsoo's Rageblade but it will transfer to AD. Gives you more attack speed, movement speed, and grevious wounds.
BlackCleaver
An alternative to Trinity Force if you are going into a tank.
Sorcerer's Shoes
Standard boots for Nid Jungle and Nid Mid. Provides magic penetration which is key for doing damage with you abilities.
Ionian Boots of Lucidity
An alternative for Sorcerer's Shoes. Take this if you are playing Nid Mid or Nid Jungle and you need early ability haste against certain matchups.
Berserker's Greaves
The one and only option for on-hit Nid Top.
Emberknife
Your jungle item. This is a must have when you start with Nidalee jungle. Once you use Smite 5 times, this item gets consumed and your Smite turns into Challenging Smite
Demonic Embrace
A great item for with Liandry's Anguish because it stacks another burn effect when you damage enemies.
Staff of Flowing Water
This items boosts you heal slightly which giving you damage and the extra effect when you heal a teamate. This item can work now because Nidalee got her Primal Surge buffed which which is a strong heal.
Gives you armor and a slow when you auto attack, an essential item if you play Nidalee Top.
Cosmic Drive
Give you a decent amount of AP and helps you chase down Top laners that tend to run away or escape such as Akali.
Spirit Visage
A solid MR item that can help you sustain in lane, keep you alive in teamfights, and regen health quicker.
Rylai's Crystal Scepter
Works well with Cosmic Drive because Cosmic gives you movement speed, and this item slows them when you use an ability.
Thornmail
A good item against champions that deal physical damage. If you are going for a full tank Nidalee Top build, this is definitely an item that you will want to go into.
Force of Nature
A new S11 Item. It gives you movement speed, and MR that stacks as you take more damage.
Gargoyle Stoneplate
A good defensive item in general, different than S10's Gargoyle Stoneplate but works just as well.

Abilities Explained
Prowl
Moving through brush increases Nidalee's Movement Speed by 10% for 2 seconds, increased to 30% toward visible enemy champions within 1400 range. Hitting champions or monsters with Javelin Toss or bushwack triggers a Hunt, granting True Sight of them for 4 seconds. During this time, Nidalee gains 10% Movement Speed (increased to 30% toward the Hunted target) and her Takedown and Pounce are enhanced against them.
Javelin Toss
Nidalee tosses her javelin forward in a line, dealing 70 / 90 / 110 / 130 / 150 (+50% of ability power) magic damage to the first enemy it hits, which is increased by 0−200% (depending on distance traveled) for a maximum of 210 / 270 / 330 / 390 / 450 (+150% of ability power) magic damage.
Bushwhack
Nidalee lays an invisible trap that deals 40 / 80 / 120 / 160 / 200 (+20% of ability power) over the duration of 4 seconds and marks the target as Hunted. The traps last 2 minutes and Nidalee can have a maximum of 4 / 6 / 7 / 10 traps active at once (at levels 1 / 6 / 11 / 16).
Primal Surge
Nidalee heals an allied champion for 35-70 / 55-110 / 75-150 / 95-190 / 115-230 (+32.5%- 65% of ability power) (based on target's missing health) and grants them 20 / 30 / 40 / 50 / 60 % bonus attack speed for 6 seconds.
Aspect of the Cougar
Nidalee transforms into a cougar, gaining new abilities.
Takedown
Nidalee's next attack deals a minimum of 4 / 20 / 50 / 90 (+36% of ability power) (+0.75 per attack damage) magic damage and she gains +75 range when using this attack. Takedown's damage to enemies is increased by 1 / 1.25 / 1.5 / 1.75% for every 1% of the target's missing Health.
Pounce
Nidalee lunges forward dealing 60 / 110 / 160 / 210 (+30% of ability power) magic damage. If the enemy that Nidalee is directly jumping towards to is Hunted, Pounce will have 750 range and the cooldown of the ability will be reduced by 40 / 50 / 60 / 70%. Killing a unit in cougar form will also reduce Pounce's cooldown by 40 / 50 / 60 / 70%.
Swipe
Nidalee claws at enemies in a cone in the direction of mouse, dealing 80 / 140 / 200 / 260 (+45% of ability power) magic damage to the enemies.
