Daredevil Impulse (Passive) Target Range: 650 / 727.5 / 805 / 882.5 / 960 (based on level) COOLDOWN: 10

INNATE - STYLE: Damaging basic attacks and abilities against at least one enemy champion different from the previous damaging hit made against them grants Samira a Style stack for 6 seconds, up to 6 stacks, refreshing on damaging attacks and abilities against enemy champions. The stack count is represented by the grades E, D, C, B, A, S to the left of her health bar for herself, and a stack counter underneath the bar that is visible to all units. Samira gains 0% − 21% (based on Style grade) bonus movement speed. INNATE: Samira's basic attacks against targets in 200 range use her blade, becoming Projectile non-projectile. Basic attacks on-hit within this range and Blade Whirl, Wild Rush, and the slash and explosives of Flair deal 2 − 19 (based on level) (+ 10% bonus AD) bonus magic damage, increased by 0% − 100% (based on target's missing health).

Additionally, Samira's basic attacks against immobilized enemies deal the attack's damage over 6 rapid attacks and knock up the target for 0.5 seconds. This causes her basic attack timer to reset and the attack to become unstoppable. If the target is not within attack range, Samira will dash into it from a certain distance and then attack. This effect cannot occur on the same target more than once every 10 seconds.

The empowered attack can critically strike. On-hit effects are only applied once.

Flair (Q) RANGE: Varied COST: 30 COOLDOWN: 6 / 5 / 4 / 3 / 2

ACTIVE: Samira fires a shot in the target direction, dealing physical damage to the first enemy it hits. If a targetable enemy is in front of Samira, she will slash with her blade instead, dealing the same damage to all enemies hit in a cone.

Casting Flair during Wild Rush will cause Samira to deploy explosives along her path which detonate upon the end of the dash, dealing the same damage to enemies within the covered distance. This can be done while performing Blade Whirl and Inferno Trigger.

Both the shot and slash can critically strike for (25% + 25% IE) bonus physical damage and apply life steal at full effectiveness.

Blade Whirl (W) EFFECT RADIUS: 325 COST: 60 COOLDOWN: 30 / 28 / 26 / 24 / 22

ACTIVE: Samira slashes around herself twice over 1.25 seconds, the first slash occurring immediately and the second being performed 0.25 seconds before the duration ends, each one dealing physical damage to nearby enemies.

Samira destroys all hostile non-turret projectiles that enter or are in her vicinity during this time. Samira cannot attack nor cast Flair during Blade Whirl. Casting Inferno Trigger will end Blade Whirl early without performing the second slash.

Wild Rush (E) RANGE: 600 / 650 COOLDOWN: 20 / 18 / 16 / 14 / 12

ACTIVE: Samira dashes in the direction of the target allied or enemy unit and slashes all enemies in her path, dealing magic damage and gaining bonus attack speed for 3 seconds. Takedowns on enemy champions reset Wild Rush's cooldown.

Inferno Trigger (R) EFFECT RADIUS: 600 COST: 100 / 50 / 0 STATIC COOLDOWN: 3

ACTIVE: Samira unleashes a torrent of shots from her weapons, rapidly shooting at all nearby enemies every 0.2 seconds over 2 seconds, slowing herself by 25% and dealing physical damage with each shot, reduced by 75% against minions. Each shot can critically strike for (100% + 25% IE) bonus physical damage and applies life steal at full effectiveness.

Inferno Trigger cannot be cast unless the Style cost is satisfied, and will reset the grade back to 0 stacks when the effect ends.

Samira cannot attack nor cast Flair or Blade Whirl during Inferno Trigger, but she is still able to move. Inferno Trigger will end prematurely by all forms of interrupting crowd control.

Precision

Samira is a champion that makes use of crisp combos and maximizing all her abilities in team fights, Conqueror stacks two times per champion hit with abilities, this combo’s great with her ultimate for it fully stacks Conqueror on its own.

Samira is a champion that likes to spam her abilities constantly, having Presence of Mind assures you that you won’t be running out of mana in needed moments. Using your ultimate alone takes a massive chunk of your mana pool, so getting a kill to boost your mana pool allows you to live on through team fights and continue using all your abilities.

Bloodline is the best option out of all the legend runes. The reason being is your build is mostly focused on combo’ing your abilities and not attack speed. Having this extra life steal will help you survive in fights.

Samira is the type of ADC who wants to be in the fray of battle. Its absolutely pivotal to your success that you are diving and ultimately because you are always so close to danger you will get low. Taking Last Stand helps maximize your damage and allows you to get resets easier.

Sorcery

Nimbus Cloak: Grants you 15-35% movement speed for 2.5 seconds after using one of your summoners. This is great for survivability, popping Flash or Heal in the midst of a battle will allow you to live out some bad looking fights. This will also help you chase down opponents for extra kills.

You get a lot of movement speed from your passive and Nimbus Cloak already, so also grabbing Celerity is a smart move! Celerity boosts the effectiveness of movespeed buffs on you, so naturally this is a great rune for Samira.

SUMMONER SPELLS - FLASH: Flash: Is mandatory. It is valuable as a play making ability, chasing down opponents, kiting enemies, setting up plays etc… HEAL: Heal: Always a safe option, it provides great Movement for kiting, helps save teammates, helps save yourself, and when used with Nimbus cloak is great for chasing down enemies too.

Starting Items

Doran's Blade I’d say on Samira, you practically always want to start Doran’s blade with 1 potion.

Doran's Shield These items aren’t bad if you are against a heavy poke lane. Some examples are Caitlyn and Zyra. Your range is really low, so high range poke champions can punish you very hard.

Core Build

There is one core build I like focusing on with Samira, it provides great execute, great playmaking ability, fantastic sustain and amazing damage. Personally at this point and time I think going anything else isn’t ideal.

Immortal Shieldbow Immortal shieldbow gives you great survivability against the extremely high damage assassin meta we are currently in.

Berserker's Greaves Very gold efficient attack speed for cost.

The Collector The collector makes you an assassin yourself and is amazing when paired with your ultimate

Infinity Edge Infinity edge slaps whenever you crit and allows you to one shot enemies

Situational Items

Mercurial Scimitar Great against high CC comps. Consider this item against Twisted Fate, Leona, Thresh and any other champions with extremely high lockdown

Guardian Angel This is a great last item and also a great item to build against many assasins. Consider this as your 5th of final item in games if you are at risk of being popped.

Maw of Malmortius This is actually a really great item on Samira. Build this when the enemy team is stacking AP champs. The spell vamp and the CDR are very useful on Samira as well.

Most of laning phase with Samira is simply knowing when to fight, when to back off, and what combos you should and should not be using in different situations. Your range is much lower then most other bot lane champions, however you have many tools to overcome this weakness, if you build up enough of your passive you can weave in and out of your opponents attack range auto attacking them when they cant auto attack you back because of your higher movement speed. Your passive is also an amazing tool to juke out on enemy skill shots and abilities. So try to stack this up as much as you possibly can in the laning phase.

During lane you want to be using you want to be using your Q to build up style, try to weave in auto attacks while using your Q. You can use your W both offensively and defensively, it’s a much better version of Yasuo’s Wind Wall, if you save it for the right moment you can completely negate some peoples ultimates which makes winning fights easy. Another thing to note is that your W procs twice so it can give you 2 style point if you W – E – W in a fight. Your E is both an amazing escape tool and engage tool in lane. You can use it on minions, allies, enemy champions, and even jungle camps! You can use abilities mid dash as well, so generally you want to weave in your Q while dashing. Always remember you also get resets on your E with champion kills!

Your ultimate is an amazing ability if used right, if you are looking for a teamfight make sure all of your abilities are off cooldown, you will want to stack your style and use your ult in every fight. A simple ultimate combo to get your style points up for ult would be Q – auto – Q – W – E – W (second part of W) then you can ultimate and finish off the enemy you are on top of!

In the mid game the most important thing to remember is that you always want to be grouped with your support or the rest of your team.

In this meta try your best to not get picked off and farm with your support nearby so you don’t risk getting assassinated for free. Also trying to combo enemies when you are alone is a lot more difficult, generally you want to be around your team with this champion for it makes your life a lot easier.

After laning phase, focus on objectives. Group around every dragon, fight every baron fight, and become your support and jungles shadow essentially. Make sure you are constantly farming though!
