Overview of Jungle Pantheon



PROS:
1. Great Skirmisher
2. Few If Any Unplayable Matchups
3. Great Teamfighter
4. 8/10 Scaling
5. Can't Be Ganked Like Lane Pantheon
6. Uncommon Pick In Jungle
7. Strong Early Playmaking
8. More R Value Due to Being a Jungler
9. Strong Single Target Damage

CONS:
1. Very Weak First Scuttle Contest (S13 Makes This Irrelevant)
2. Mediocre First Clear
3. Unhealthy First Clear Due to S13 Changes
4. Suffers vs Tabis Rush
5. Suffers VS Stat Checkers till Core is complete

Jungle Pathing




Quick 3 Camps:
Red > Raptors > Krugs > Gank
(Smite Krugs, Pot When Needed, Raptors & Krugs Are Interchangeable)

Full Clear:
Blue > Gromp > Wolves > Raptors > Red > Krugs
OR
Red > Krugs > Raptors > Wolves > Blue > Gromp
(Smite Gromp, Smite Krugs. Pot When Needed)

Full clearing is NOT HEALTHY. Ganking or at least covering early is important. Avoiding a scuttle contest is IDEAL however, it is better to look for a counter gank opportunity or a transition gank to the other scuttle crab if contested without prio. Don't worry about le funny flipping the game for scuttle if risky though as first scuttle gives barely any EXP now.

This isn't an end all be all of pathing and is very simplistic, each game is different. ID the easiest lane to gank and get ahead and clear in a way that allows you to play to this strength.
OVERVIEW + EXPLANATION
Hello, this is my first build guide. I started maining Pantheon around Mid-Late S12. I've always had a great love for the champions design and kit. However a big drawback is that I hated how he was a "Early Game Champion." Due to this I stayed away from Pantheon, playing him only occasionally in the support role for fun.

However, I've always been a avid enjoyer of RTS games and I have a passion for theory crafting and finding a optimal or viable way to play a game/character/or strategy. I eventually came up with this Pantheon build to put to rest the issues of Pantheon being a early game only champion. I also understand consistency is key in these type of games which is why I love this build and champion.


Here's a Overview of WHY I Picked these Core Items and Runes



ITEMS:



ECLIPSE
1. Relatively Affordable
2. A Great Scaling Mythic Passive
3. A Great Passive for Skirmishing
4. The Ability to Sustain in the Jungle
5. Allows the Fabled Dirk Early Purchase
6. Enables Pantheons Early Game While Scaling

BLADE OF THE RUINED KING:
1. This Item is NOT Balanced
2. Insta-Proc Siphon with Empowered W
3. Mists Edge Shreds Tanks with Empowered W
4. AS gives the DPS to finish off Tanks or Bruisers

Guardian Angel:
1. Stopwatch Component Value Early
2. Enables Aggressive Objective Winning Plays
3. Anti-Stupid Mistake Item

FIRST STRIKE
1. Accelerates Pantheons Scaling
2. Bonus True Damage Great Against Tanks
3. Compensates For a Poor Clear Speed
4. Rewards Ganking

MAGICAL FOOTWARE
1. Free Boots allows you to rush Eclipse
2. Extra MS makes it harder to kite
3. Interacts well with Blue Smite

FUTURES MARKET
1. Lets you get Power Spikes Like Dirk or Important Components Sooner
2. Insurance Policy if Behind for More Stats

COSMIC INSIGHT
1. Its a Jungle Staple
2. More Smites
3. More Flash uptime which is important on Pantheon
4. Item Haste for Eclipse, & BotRK


DOMINATION SECONDARY

1. Extra Lethality Early is Valuable
2. Ultimately Preference between this and Eyeball Collection

TREASURE HUNTER
1. Holy GOLD VALUE (Sadge they Nerfed it)
2. Can Let You 1v9 With First Strike
3. Stack the Rune Fast as a Jungler
4. Most Importantly Gets You to BotRK Faster

PRECISION SECONDARY

1. Pays Out Gold on Kill
2. Valuable on a One Shot Skirmisher
3. Buys Time for Cooldowns

1. Crowd Control is cringe
2. Equal to Unflinching with 100% Uptime

Useful to note that I started off 0-7 on Pantheon in S13 and remained relatively in a slump until I finally integrated Guardian Angel as a core item which I am currently 5-0.

P.S. I REALLY Hate S13 Jungle. :(
