[13.9] [Master] Free Elo Ziggs Guide

Introduction
Hey, I'm FFrostbite and this guide is about my Ziggs ! Im a high elo EUW streamer and player, often sitting in mid master. I've played hundreds of games as Ziggs and always perform well!
In this guide I'm gonna show you how to play him to climb easily in SoloQ! Ziggs is a super strong midlaner who doesnt have alot of losing matchups. This makes him a safe pick in midlane. You either go even or win lanes and scale super well, up to the point where you can easily poke down the enemy team within seconds - which makes him a godlike pick in soloq.

| Passive - Short Fuse |
Every 12 seconds, Ziggs' next attack deals an additional magic damage (depending on level). It deals 150% more damage to structures.

Ziggs' abilities reduce this cooldown by 4 / 5 / 6 seconds.

| Q - Bouncing Bomb |
Ziggs throws a bouncing bomb that deals magic damage.

| W - Satchel Charge |
Ziggs flings an explosive charge that detonates after 4 seconds, or when this ability is Recast. It deals magic damage to enemies and knocks them back. Ziggs is also knocked away, but takes no damage.

Satchel Charge will automatically destroy towers below 25 / 27.5 / 30 / 32.5 / 35% of their health.

| E - Hexplosive Minefield |
Ziggs scatters proximity mines that detonate on enemy contact, dealing magic damage and slows by for 1.5 seconds. Mines last 10 seconds.

| R - Mega Inferno Bomb |
Ziggs hurls his ultimate creation, dealing magic damage in the center of the blast radius, or less magic damage at the edge.
Combos
Poke Combo

Bouncing Bomb > Hexplosive Minefield > Passive Autoattack > Satchel Charge > Bouncing Bomb

Start of the Combo with a quick Q into E on the enemy laner. Use your empowered passive Autoattack. He will most likely run out of the Minefield, so try to use your W to push him into the Minefield again. - Your Q should be up again - throw it at him and use your empowered passive Autoattack again after.





All In

Poke Combo > Mega Inferno Bomb

Try to poke the enemy down with either your poke combo or alot of Q spells. Follow up with your ultimate - make sure to be close to the enemy while casting it so the travel time will be low.





Kobe

Satchel Charge > Bouncing Bomb

1. use it on the enemy laner to push him into the direction you will use your Q. Theres a small duration where he is not able to move which makes it a free Q hit.
2. use it on yourself to reposition for your Q usage. While midair use your Q - it makes it hard for the enemy laner to react to this





Best way to Push Turrets

Passive Auto > Bouncing Bomb > Hexplosive Minefield > Passive Autoattack

Use your passive Autoattack - use 2 spells to have your empowered Auttoattack ready again, since the cooldown gets reduced by 4/5/6 seconds per spell use. - This way you push the most efficient way
General Playstyle
IN LANE

In lane you should focus on last hitting. You shouldnt focus on killing the enemy early since you only have a limited manapool and once youre out of mana its doomed.
Try to farm as much as possible using autoattacks only.

Use your empowered autoattacks to harass the enemy laner. Use your Q Bouncing Bomb only when its a safe hit. The best times to use it is when he is going for a last hit or when he is standing in his minion wave.

If your Jungler is ganking try to use your W Satchel Charge to knock the enemy laner into you.

Try to reset at 1300G for Lost Chapter. Afterwards your mana issues should be solved and you can begin to push or roam






MID GAME

After laning phase you can go to the sidelane and continue farming while your botlane/jgl stays midlane. If you have Teleport you can always join your team for teamfights - if you dont have it always be rdy to join them!
Continue gaining experience and farm there to get even stronger. With the help of your jungler you can get easy kills and easy turrets, so try to play together with him.

Before teamfights you want to poke as much as you can. Use your E Hexplosive Minefield in a tactic way which denies the enemys from walking up into team. If you have Hard CC on your team, such as Malphite, you can wait for him to use his ultimate Unstoppable Force and follow it up with an easy hit of your Ultimate Mega Inferno Bomb.

After won teamfights you can easily go for turret kills with your team and your W Satchel Charge.

If youre behind you can just waveclear until eternity, so keep on scaling until youre strong enough to easily poke them down.






LATE GAME

In late game you can be the gamechanger. Poke as much as you can before teamfights. If youre full build one Q Bouncing Bomb into your R Mega Inferno Bomb is often enough to oneshot enemy carries, so dont be too shy to try that!

Try to position in a safe way and keep on throwing Qs and Es at the enemy team. Use your R on enemy carrys if you can.

Keep on grouping and sieging with your team. If you poke alot they shouldnt be able to defend turrets and with your W you should be able to push turrets super fast.






IN GENERAL

Play safe early game!
Use your pushing potential to open the map!
Try to poke people with your insane range!
Be a backbone and major carry in teamfights!
