[12.20] Reworked Fiddlesticks Jungle, the detailled guide

By Tchouvline
Introduction / Who am I ?
/!\ I made a new section, where I'll talk about last patch changes (updating it for every patch) /!\

Hi, and welcome to the Reworked Junglesticks guide.
First of all, let me introduce myself, i'm Tchouvline, a french League of Legends player who fell in love for Fiddlesticks (i mean, really !).

Before the rework, i used to play Fiddlesticks ALOT, now that he's reworked i'm even more enjoying him.
Playing the new Fiddlesticks on PBE was very funny and interesting, and I'm gonna try to give you the basics of The Ancient Fear so that you can scare EVERYONE in the Summoner's Rift.
So let's get started.
If you like this guide, please vote and visit my twitch channel at twitch.tv/tchouvline :)

Runes section MAY be susceptible to change, as meta evolves, I'll be updating the runes section as frequently as possible.
Abilities

Fiddlesticks - The Ancient Fear
Ranged, Mage, Jungler, Support,

Real name: Unknown.
Gender: Unknown.
Speciality: Fearing everyone.

Something has awoken in Runeterra. Something ancient. Something terrible. The ageless horror known as Fiddlesticks stalks the edges of mortal society, drawn to areas thick with paranoia where it feeds upon terrorized victims. Wielding a jagged scythe, the haggard, makeshift creature reaps fear itself, shattering the minds of those unlucky enough to survive in its wake. Beware the sounding of the crow, or the whispering of the shape that appears almost human… Fiddlesticks has returned.

PROS

+ Good sustain with Bountiful Harvest.
+ Fast jungle clear.
+ Engage potential with Crowstorm.
+ Easy to learn.
+ Great powerspike on level 6

Reworked Fiddlesticks is actually good. Fast jungle clear with Bountiful Harvest, more damages with Terrify's active, his passive mechanic ( A Harmless Scarecrow),
CONS

- Squishy.
- Weak to CC.
- Weak before 6.
- Ultimate channeling time.
- No escape..

On early game you'll probably struggle if you encounter early game champs like Lee Sin, Ekko or even Kindred. Playing smart until 6 is necessary, so farming your jungle is actually a TO-DO.
PASSIVE ABILITY
A HARMLESS SCARECROW (Passive): Fiddlesticks begins the game with an exclusive Scarecrow Effigy, which permanently occupies its trinket slot. Fiddlesticks can pretend to be an Effigy, after standing still for 2 seconds, adjusting its body into a scarecrow and extending its arm out to expose its lantern. Its health bar is also hidden to enemies while idle, similarly to an Effigy.

From level 6 onward, placing an Effigy also summons a demonic eyeball at the location that grants obscured vision of enemy units in the area for 6 seconds, which also reveals and disables enemy wards and stealthed traps.

Q
TERRIFY (Q): All enemy units are afflicted with Dread when Fiddlesticks is out of combat for 2.5 seconds and is unseen by enemy champions. Fiddlesticks next damaging ability against an enemy affected by Dread will fear them for 1 / 1.25 / 1.5 / 1.75 / 2 seconds. If Fiddlesticks casts Bountiful Harvest or Reap while pretending to be an Effigy, enemies hit will be feared as if it were unseen.

Fiddlesticks shrieks at the target enemy, dealing 6/7/8/9/10% (+2% per 100 Ability Power) of target's current health in magic damage and fearing them for a short duration. Terrify has a minimum damage threshold, and is capped at 400 against monsters.

Enemies can only be feared by Terrify's passive once every few seconds. Terrify's active damage and minimum damage threshold are doubled if its target has recently been feared, Feared enemies are slowed by 90%.

W
BOUNTIFUL HARVEST (W): Fiddlesticks tethers itself to all nearby enemies and channels for up to 2 seconds. While channeling, tethered enemies are revealed as it siphons their souls, dealing 12.5 / 20 / 27.5 / 35 / 42.5 (+8.25% of ability power) in magic damage to them every 0.25 seconds, with the last tick dealing additional magic damage for a total of 12.5 / 20 / 27.5 / 35 / 42.5 (+8.25% of ability power) (+12 / 13 / 14 / 15 / 16% of target's missing health). Total damage is reduced to 50% against minions.

Fiddlesticks heals himself for 30 / 35 / 40 / 45 / 50% of the pre-mitigation damage dealt, reduced to 15% against minions.

If all targets break their tethers by moving out of range, the ability ends immediately. If the ability is fully channeled or all targets are slain, 60% of the remaining cooldown is refunded.
/!\ I discovered that, with your W, you can spot invisible ennemies (like Teemo or Shaco) or even unseen ennemies who wait in a bush /!\

E
REAP (E): Fiddlesticks swings with its scythe in a crescent-shaped area on the target location, dealing 70 / 105 / 140 / 175 / 210 (+50% of ability power) magic damage and slowing enemies hit for 30 / 35 / 40 / 45 / 50% for 1.25 seconds.

Enemies hit in the center of the area are also silenced for 1.25 seconds.

R
CROWSTORM (R): After channeling for 1.5 seconds, Fiddlesticks blinks to the target location with a murder of crows flying wildly around it for 5 seconds, dealing 31.25 / 56.25 / 81.25 (+11.25% of ability power) magic damage to nearby enemies every 0.25 seconds for a total of 625 / 1125 / 1625 (+225% of ability power) magic damage.

/!\ If your Q's passive is up, EVERY enemy champion hit by your ultimate will be feared /!\

Domination and Inspiration

Surprisingly (or not), Predator is the BiS keystone for Fiddlesticks ! Teddysticks (a korean challenger) saw the potential of it, and was the first to abuse it's power ! However, if you're low elo (under plat) and you doesn't like Predator, it's fine, Electrocute and Dark Harvest are both solid choices !
If you need early damage, then fear not, Cheap Shot is there for you ! Basically it gives you a bit of true damage, which can make the difference on early game.
As a very solid alternative, I recommand running Sudden Impact, since it can proc with Crowstorm AND Hextech Rocketbelt, which means you have two activation sources available.
Thanks to your A Harmless Scarecrow passive, you will be able to clear wards much more frequently than anyone else (even support) ! So Zombie Ward is the best choice around here.
As a jungler, Fiddlesticks mostly needs his Crowstorm to gank (or even for teamfights), that's why picking Ultimate Hunter is a solid option, with the reduced cooldown on your ultimate !
(Quick note : You can use Ingenious Hunter if you want to synergize with Zhonya's Hourglass and A Harmless Scarecrow and denying vision more often.)
_______________________________________________________________________________

Thanks to Teddysticks, this stone is the BiS for Fiddlesticks ! After your first jungle clear (level 4) and the scuttle, you will be able to buy Sorcerer's Shoes on your first back. Tested and definitely approved :)
Cosmic Insight gives you some Summoner Spell Haste (Flash AND smite), and Item Haste ( Zhonya's Hourglass and [[Hextech Rocketbelt). As an alternative, if you're not confident enough, you can use Perfect Stopwatch too, it's a solid alternative, and you'll save some golds before buying your Zhonya's.
As a Mythic item, Hextech Rocketbelt is greatly fulfilling his job. It gives you AP, Health, Ability Haste (previously CDR), an active that will give you a dash for getting closer to your enemies, and 30% bonus MS towards enemy champions for 2 seconds, it perfectly synergies with your ultimate ! We can appreciate the mythic passive too, giving 5 magic penetration for each legendary item you have. This mythic is my favorite to use on Fiddlesticks! (Nerfed a lot, but still efficient !)
_______________________________________________________________________________
The Riftmaker is the perfect option against tanky/high MR comp. His passive gives you 2% bonus omnivamp for every legendary item you own, which means you can have 10% bonus omnivamp on your build. I do appreciate the Void Corruption passive for the bonus damage it provides, and the ability to convert these damages into true one on long fights. But i definitively fell in love for the sustain that omnivamp grants, it reminds me Hextech Gunblade and it is a great synergy with Fiddlestick's Bountiful Harvest.
_______________________________________________________________________________
The Night Harvester is actually a pretty good alternative to the Hextech Rocketbelt, by giving you 25% MS when you damage a champion. The Mythic Passive is good, however i'd prefer something like Everfrost if you really wanna be annoying.
_______________________________________________________________________________
Did you know that being annoying is part of Fiddlesticks job ? Now you do ! Everfrost is here to serve you. Basically, you wanna R on your opponent, then use everfrost to slow them, or to root them, if you hit the enemy champion in the center, you'll root it. Tested it a few times and I do appreciate it.
_______________________________________________________________________________
When Fiddlesticks engages, he will be the target of many opponents, including champions and turrets. Zhonya's Hourglass is a must have item, the perfect one when you want to engage and deal alot of damages to the enemy team, without taking too much. Basically, it will be your first core item.
_______________________________________________________________________________
The second item that you must have in your core build. The Sorcerer's Shoes provide to Fiddlesticks more MS and Magic Penetration, which will be useful to chase your opponents.
_______________________________________________________________________________
Rabadon's Deathcap is a reeeeally good item, which provides 120AP and a 35% increased AP, which is powerful. This can be your 4th item if you're fed and you want to confirm your advantage on your opponents.
If not, you can buy it as 5th or 6th item.
_______________________________________________________________________________
Dropping a R in the middle of 5 man while being squishy is boring, we all know that, BUT there is an item you can buy against it, the Demonic Embrace ! A great passive that will grant yourself 10 Armor and MR, increasing by 2.5 for each enemy you recently hit. This item is really effective against tanks too, for the burning damages it provides.
_______________________________________________________________________________
If you're looking for a 3rd item, here it is. The Morellonomicon will give you AP, Health, Magic Penetration, and a great anti-heal passive that will be boosted if the enemy champion is below 50% HP. I usually buy this as 3rd item for Fiddlesticks, but you should consider buying the Oblivion Orb early against healing comp (ex: Vlad, Soraka, Sona).
_______________________________________________________________________________
If Fiddlesticks encounter high MR champions, go for a Void Staff. 40% of the enemy's Magic Resistance will be ignored (before Magic Penetration), which will counter them ! Sorcerer's Shoes, combined with Void Staff and Hextech Rocketbelt or Riftmaker can litteraly rip off the life of your ennemies, even if they're tanky.
_______________________________________________________________________________
Even if Fiddlesticks fears and silence everyone, his strength also is a weakness.. It's a squishy champion, and a single CC can give the opportunity to the enemy team to kill you. That's why, with a lot of CC champions, i buy Banshee's Veil.
You should also build a Banshee vs AP champs, even if they're not fed.
_______________________________________________________________________________
Useful for your teammates, the Rylai's Crystal Scepter, combined with Crowstorm, will be able to slow the entire enemy team, increasing your engage potential. Everyone will appreciate a Health and high AP boost is the icing on the cake !
_______________________________________________________________________________
In late game, when you have your 6 items, you'll need to have a 50AP boost for few minutes. Pretty basic but really efficient on late game !
Lots of players often forget it, but you're reading my guide, so you will not forget it !
/!\ WARNING : These jungle clears are OUTDATED, I've made them the first day of Fiddlesticks's rework release and are both suboptimal if you're looking for the best jungle clears. I will release new jungle paths as soon as possible ! /!\

(First video is about top side clear and second one bottom side clear)
_______________________________________________________________________________
There are some spots where you can gank without being seen by your opponent. Ennemies tends to forget warding these places. Instead of channeling from a probably-warded bush, you can try these spots.

05/31/2020 : Added Header images to ALL sections !
11/14/2020 : Removed Spellbinder from items section.
12/09/2020 : Removed About Last Patch, it was an experimental section I wanted to create, not much feedbacks about it.
And that's how the guide finishes! I expect that you've enjoyed reading this one, don't hesitate to comment, this will help me :)
Remember that the guide is not completed yet and that there is a lot of information that I'll add progressively.
