Champion Build Guide

[13.10] Aurelion Sol, The Star Forger

By Guest
Intro
Hi! I’m a level 7 Aurelion Sol(Rework) player. This guide is an excellent introduction to Aurelion Sol. This guide mainly helps beginner Aurelion Sol players.
Stacking Mechanic
Aurelion Sol introduces a new style of stacking, and it's both passive and aggressive. Passive due to it being able to be used on monsters/minions, and Aggressive with it can be used on champions. Stacks can be obtained with the First, Third, and Ultimate.

E Stacking
It has a mechanic on which you gain a stack when a monster, minion, or champion dies inside it or for some while inside it. The amount differs from monster to minon and to champion.

Q stacking
You gain one stack whenever you complete a circle. A cycle is when you hit a champion using your first and start to generate the circle. Whenever the circle finishes, it pops and deals true damage to the champion. This damage scale is based on your stack on the champion.

Ult Stacking
Ult can only help you stack whenever you hit a champion. It differs on how many enemy champions you hit.
Ability Mechanics
Q mechanic:
Try to learn mouse tracing. You trace the champion using your mouse so you can hit the champion.
Try to use while using your w skill, and you gain more damage while using your w skill.

W mechanic:
It is for escape or catch-up scenarios. To escape situations, try to go to your nearest tower or teammate rather than end up in the enemy jungle. For catch-up scenarios, try to do 1v1 scenarios rather than 2v1 or more so you can use your w again to redirect your trajectory.

E mechanic:
Use it when you want to control the area or lock down your enemy when trying to combo it using your ultimate skill. It's more beneficial to put it down when they’re in groups.

Ultimate mechanic:
The most extended range among your skills, it's more helpful if you combo it with e so that the enemy can never escape your ult range. Your empowered ultimate is the most powerful ability in a team fight, and when the enemy is in the circle, they get knocked up(uncleansable) rather than stunned. It also produces shockwaves outside the circle that deals damage and slow the enemy. The range of these shockwaves depends on your stacks.
Game Phase
Start

At level 1, don’t shy away from invades or early fights. Since you started with your 3rd skill, the more enemy champions stayed in your 3rd, the more stack you get closer to your power spike.

Laning Phase

You have one of the weakest laning phases, potentially giving the wave to your opponent mostly and just stacking using your third skill. The earliest you can have a killing potential is whenever your jungle ganks you or you reach level 6 to get your ultimate

Mid game
In this phase, you start being active, try to look for potential ganks, and fight for objectives.

Late game
The Carry, Avoid dying at all costs, or your team will lose a significant win percentage.
