Zoe is gonna be really annoying to play against she has really good dmg if she hits e so try to be behind the wave, if she hits you with her E you can cancel the stun just by pressing R so try to do that to suprise them (most of them Zoe mains don't know this trick so take advantage).Also you should get electrocute and teleport against zoe.

Amumu is the best jgler with aurora he has cc he can also get abyssal mask to help you deal more dmg hes a tank while beeing able to do some dmg and hes good for ganks.

INTRODUCTION

Hii I'm Peek A Boo,also known as nine roses and I currently have the most mastery points on Aurora and i managed to reach rank 1 (WITH AURORA) on (EUNE).
My peak rank is Master 337lp, and the reason I created this guide is just because I want to see even more fellow Aurora mains or even OTPs.
Hope this guide helps yall understand Aurora a bit better !.

AURORA'S ABILITIES

Aurora's Passive: Damaging basic attacks and abilities apply a stack of Spirit Abjuration for 4 seconds (refreshes on hit, up to 3 stacks). On 3 stacks, they’re consumed to deal bonus magic damage equal to 2.5% of the target’s max health.

Aurora’s Q: A skillshot that fires a bolt of energy dealing magic damage and cursing enemies for 3.5 seconds. You can recast after hitting a target. Recast: She recalls the curse, sending spirit bolts back that damage enemies they pass through. Requires 60 mana. Great for plays and combos.

Aurora’s W: Hops into a portal and becomes invisible in the Spirit Realm, gaining movement speed. The ability resets on takedown. Costs 80 mana. Great for escapes, chases, and jukes — use carefully!

Aurora’s E: Fires a blast in a line and dashes backward 250 units. The blast slows by 80% (decays over 1 sec). Costs 80 mana. Great for zoning, escaping, or setting up a combo!

Aurora’s R: Dashes forward (Unstoppable), then unleashes a pulse 425 units ahead. Deals AoE damage and slows by 30% for 2 sec. Grants Realm Hopper for 4 sec. A high-impact teamfight tool.

BANS

Zed will be your best choice in terms of bans when you're playing Aurora since his R makes it really hard for you to play. And he's overall a nice champion to NOT have in your enemy team.

Katarina can also be really tough, not to lane against but to play against since after lvl 9-11 she can kill you really easily and that makes her a nice ban when you're playing Aurora.

Diana after all of her buffs will be extremely hard to play against her as Aurora. She's a nice ban and maybe it can even help your jungle (since she can also play jungle).

⚠️ NOTE

THIS COMBO IS REALLY HARD TO ACTUALLY PULL OFF IN GAME

(It costs a lot — Flash, R, and comes with the risk of misplaying and giving the enemies a free kill.)

Electrocute
────────────────

Electrocute is Aurora's best rune since it deals bonus adaptive damage after a champion lands three separate attacks or abilities on an enemy champion within a 3 second window. Aurora can do that pretty easily since her Q adds 2 stacks. It's the best laning phase rune for Aurora and also the strongest overall since she can proc it pretty easily and it adds bonus damage on top of your combo. You can also create a lot more combo variations with this rune to apply even more damage to enemies.

Sudden Impact
────────────────

Sudden Impact is Aurora's best "small rune" (in the first category) since it grants bonus true damage to an enemy champion after using a dash, blink, or teleport, or after exiting stealth. So you can apply some true damage to the enemy overall. Really useful not only in the laning phase but also throughout the game (except late game, but it still adds some damage).

Taste of Blood
────────────────

Taste of Blood is not really that good for Aurora although you can still take it because it can help you in some matchups that poke you a lot like Syndra, Orianna, etc. Wouldn't really recommend though.

Grisly Mementos
────────────────

Grisly Mementos is just the best rune out of all the new 3 that came. Just choose this instead of the others.

Ultimate Hunter
────────────────

Ultimate Hunter is a MUST have "small rune" for Aurora since it reduces your Ultimate Ability cooldown by 20s. As we all know, Aurora's ultimate is just too good, so having a lower cooldown on it really helps.

Arcane Comet
────────────────

Although I wouldn't really recommend going Arcane Comet on Aurora nowadays since her nerfs, you can still get it ONLY if you are not really confident with Electrocute yet.

Celerity
────────────────

Celerity is surprisingly a REALLY good "small rune" for Aurora since it gives you more movement speed, which you NEED especially at top lane. It's a must-have rune, but with this rune most of the time I would recommend buying Boots of Swiftness.

Transcendence
────────────────

Transcendence is also a nice rune for Aurora. Even though Celerity is kinda better, Transcendence will give you some more power in teamfights since you receive 20% of your cooldowns back. Playing an ability haste build with this rune is a must!

Presence of Mind
────────────────

Presence of Mind is a classic rune for assassin/mages. I would get this if the enemies have a team that I can 1v2 the jungler and the enemy midlaner in lane (would recommend getting this only in mid lane and not top). Also good for W reset since it gives you 15% of your max mana back after an elimination, so that's enough for a W.

Legend: Alacrity

Legend: Alacrity some people might find it a bit weird that I'm even adding this to the guide, BUT I tried it in so many games and it's actually really decent, especially at top.But you'll run out of mana pretty fast, so you need to be really careful with how you use your mana since you won't have a rune supporting you nor an item if you buy Stormsurge. Overall, you can kite enemies and apply more passives to enemies!

Cut Down
────────────────

Cut Down is a really nice "small rune" since it does a lot of damage, especially on champions with really high health. Overall really good because you also have some maximum health damage, but you also have missing health damage with your second Q2, so it really stacks up, making it a really good rune for Aurora when you're using Precision.

WARDING SPOTS

These are my personal favourite places to place Stealth Wards when playing Aurora.
Don't forget to always place your Stealth Wards and buy Control Wards — Since vision can give you and your team a huge advantage over the enemy

There are some thing's that you can do as Aurora Mid Game. One of them is using your W to go invisible and surprise the enemy with damage they can’t react to. If you keep doing this, enemies will be forced to recall due to low HP, leading to guaranteed objectives. You should also play around your team since your R is great for teamfights due to the slow and damage it applies.

In the laning phase, your playstyle depends on runes. With Electrocute (Q max), poke early with Q1 + AA + Q2, or Q + E + Q2. You can add W if you have the mana. With Arcane Comet (E max, vs ranged), open with AA + AA + E to proc Comet, Scorch, and Passive. At level 3, use W+E combos to trigger Sudden Impact and secure big trades.

Another tactic mid game is sneaking around with W for constant poke. Every time the enemy has to recall, your team can go for drakes, towers, or set up vision. If the enemy mid or ADC can’t walk up, it’s your opportunity to shift the momentum.
