VERY TOUGH MATCHUP! I like to always try to counter gank her / join fights late since both of her forms E's hurt your gameplan. I try to hide in bushes often or get close enough to her to W1>Q instantly closing the gap. If you try to W1 RUN then Q, she will likely have counter play. Bruiser build works best versus her and Steraks + Spirit Visage make you unkillable.
Taliyah
This matchup is playable if you position well and get full charged E combos. You have the damage to 1 shot her but if she has E, you can’t play regularly. She can E herself if you ult, you will get stunned then W’d. After that you can decide on going forward with WQ or just E'ing and resetting your cooldowns.
Same thing for if you random W-Q her, she can stand on the rocks and W.
Although you can W sideways then try to walk throw the rocks but she will probably just W your linear pathing if she plays well. Bad taliyahs will use EW really early to get the cooldown ticking, that's your time to fight!
Rengar
This champions whole gimmick versus you is: He wants to either E > Empowered E to kite you. Or heal your burst with his W then try to damage you back. When Rengar gets very fed for free, the game gets tough. Try to E his jump from bush, this has a lot of value. If he tries to jump to your team, meet him with a W1>Q. Overall, you should be the aggro player here, bring good fights to him.
Amumu
If you engage onto him early game, you will deal a lot of damage. He will try to stun you then walk to his team. Be careful of his team. In 1v1 you win but teamfights is where he wants to be. Use your E when he tries to Q you and stun him into a wall. Also try to not overstack for his ultimate late game, it's usually a good idea to attack his team more than him.
Bel'Veth
Generally speaking, Bel’Veth is just easier Briar. Briar actually has counter play and Bel’Veth does not, when she’s ahead. You should look to Q or E her E since it is her best spell. Sideways W's to dodge her W is THE KEY!. If she ever gets close enough to hit you with Q for free. You've made a mistake. Ward early to try and catch her invades and PING a TON for your team to punish her. Be okay with walking away because she will not scale as well as you!
Fiddlesticks
If you catch him in jungle. W towards him and try to Q after he Q's you. It will not always break your frenzy. If he ever W's then you charge E. it should be a 1 shot, he can’t run from you because your second W will catch up to him after he Q’s. Care for Fiddle ult because you will die.
Evelynn
You have free reign on the early game so get ACTIVE on your cc lanes! Once she gets 6 try to ward her camps and entrances to your jungle. Try to Q her when she wants to ult and combo your Ult into her engage! Generally though, if you're playing around your team it should be free for you to W>Q her then E her team away. Always try to E when she goes to charm you. This will keep you from walking towards her since you are in the E animation!
Gragas
Always try to W sideways when he wants to E. If you can perfect this, it is HUGE. Be careful of charging E in a bad spot because he will just R you into his team since you aren't moving. Q him after his W damage reduction is down then make sure to W2!
Karthus
You can’t farm as fast as him but you gank way better. Farm VERY efficiently and don't over force to kill him once.
Play VERY SMART, about how much time you use, look to use your kit to dodge his Q's and always E his R!
Ivern
Dodge his Q with your W, be prepared to E when his team tries to dash to his Q if you do get hit. Smiting daisy isn't very good anymore but WQing and bursting her can be good. Serpents Fang is huge
Graves
Graves favored because of his range. Look to counter his engage if he E's forward. Try not to just W towards him for free. You need W+Q and teammate to kill him for free.
Diana
Be creative with trying to E her engages. She will almost always dash to a target hit by her Q. If she goes forward too early engage on her and buffer your E. When people stack up she will look to ultimate, use your E before this happens to make her miss the damage. Sideways W1 to dodge her Q has good value.
Jarvan IV
YOU DESTROY THIS CHAMPION IN 1V1! But he is a good team player champion. So be careful fighting him unless you know he's alone!
If he ults you, just use E and slam him into wall or W-E over the wall!
Punish him engaging too far into your team with your WQ and it's a good fight!
Kayn
Generally speaking you want to Q him when he’s in walls to force him out of it!
Use your W to dodge his W in EVERY FORM. THATS HIS BEST SPELL!
Once Kayn gets his red or blue form and gets ahead. You're in for a tough game. So really path attention to your early game!
Kindred
Pretty fair match up, either you get kited or slam
E her out of her R into a wall is a kill. You force her to R if you have enough damage on the initial burst
You can R her R and it’s always huge. Just don’t get dogged super early
Kha'Zix
Kha'Zix can be a VERY TOUGH MATCHUP! His Q damage is insane so if you try to fight him make sure you have someone around!
Kha'Zix will likely use his E (the jump) to last hit a teammate, use this opening to punish him with a W>Q combo!
His ultimate makes him invisible so you will need to hit your ultimate to fight him late game BUT if you do hit ult, you win everytime!
Master Yi
MASTER YI IS A VERY TOUGH MATCHUP! He does HIGH DAMAGE and can mess up your W with his Q. The biggest thing to do is make plays around your team and if he uses his Q, the moment he shows up USE YOUR Q! Yi is a 1v1 MASTER so you really have to choose your spots well. If he EVER Q's you, make sure to E and aim it towards a wall! If you catch him in a bad spot he might try to W ( the stand still and heal ) use this time to charge up your E also and PUT HIM INTO THE WALL!
Lee Sin
Lee Sin is a VERY HIGH SKILL CHAMPION. So most likely people will make tons of mistakes. His Q (blue spell and he can reactivate it to jump to the target he hit) is his most important spell to E. So ALWAYS try to E him when he does that. If you hit him into a wall, FREE KILL. But he can ward hop to cancel it, which sucks. Look to sideways W to dodge his Q then punish him with your stun! Later into the game when he has ultimate, it can mess you up a ton since it kicks you far enough that you lose Frenzy BUT if you think he will R, you can use your R right before it and it still casts!
Nocturne
Nocturne favored matchup BUT people over exaggerate how bad it is!
Nocturne has his E (the fear tether) and that's what makes this matchup so bad. Try to use your W to jump over a wall to break the tether and then path to fight him!
The second biggest thing to do in this matchup is USE YOUR SMITE. He will always try to W (his spell shield) your E. RIGHT before your E hits him, smite the shield away. BOOM he's in the wall because he didn't respect your smite.
Nidalee
Nidalee matchup varies because the champion is one of the hardest in the game. Challenger Nidalee is a TERRIBLE MATCHUP. Gold Nidalee is FREE!
Main things to do are dodge her Q (the spear) that's EVERYTHING she wants to do. Once she doesn't have that PUNISH HER HARD! Be careful of her jumping over walls to kite you into her team though!
Lillia
Try to burst her out with WQ when she gets too close. She will then try to R you and put you to sleep. Right before her R hits you always E to try and break up her combo. She will outfarm you so farm efficiently and gank without overforcing or wasting too much time. BotRK is really good because it slows her down!
Rammus
ALWAYS E his engage on you and you should be fine. WQ after his W ends or punish by killing his team. He is a better champion when you're both broke so make sure to farm well and build black cleaver. It makes the matchup so much better. I do not think you need BotRK for him but some people like it. It's all about your E's in this matchup
Rek'Sai
Try to let her Engage on your team then you counter her when she is unburrowed. If Rek'Sai going to knock you up try to time your W to dodge it if you want to fight. E'ing Rek'sai is really smart because you will still complete your spell during the knockup! This matchup is all about who can play around their team better so try and not fight too many 1v1's. REMEMBER, if she ultimates she will always land BEHIND YOU. Use this with your E to counter her hard!
Udyr
Better player wins. Focus on Q'ing Udyr when he gets too close to your team. You can skirmish with him but he will never fight without his team usually. AD Udyr likes to empower his auto attacks, it's very important to use your E during this. If he's AP Udyr he wants to be tanky and kite you around. Pick your spots wisely!
Vi
Dodge her Q with your W then you win the 1v1 every time. If she R's you just buffer E and put her into the wall. Early game and mid game you win but she punishes with her team way better than you do. Any build works vs Vi but BotRK is the 1v1 build and Titanic can live through her combo better. Regularly W1>Q should get the damage rolling and pressure her
Zac
E his E (slingshot) every time or Dodge with W if you want to fight him. This champion IS BROKEN versus us unless you dodge his spells. Build Spirit Visage the moment you have enough damage. Be careful trying to punish him during his ultimate because it will cancel your Q!
Caitlyn
Caitlyn can camp her traps vs you and it's tough to win. She can frame 1 cc you from ult if place trap correctly. Hard to counterplay unless you 1 tap her fast, focus her support more times than not if possible. Always E if you're going to get double / triple headshot. Other than that tho, slide through with a sideways W away from a trap then Q her. Titanic reset and BOOM free win. Pref Titanic here
Cassiopeia
Cassiopeia can be VERY tough. If you W badly she will W-R you and it's a certified death. You have to only really W when you're close enough to at least buffer W-Q onto her. Hitting R can be okay you will likely live through her burst then try to heal up. Any build works
Ekko
Ekko is a VERY TOUGH MATCHUP! But it's all about how skilled the Ekko is. He has very high passive damage when he hits multiple spells so try to E during his burst. It's very smart to use your Q to stop him for ultimating! But remember, if he uses his E (the dash and auto) you can predict it and use your E to put him into the wall. Try to minimize early game mistakes because he snow balls very HARD.
Braum
If you jump in, you will just flat out die. 100% he cc's you and destroys you
Neeko
Champ cc's you a ton, can outrun you by sending her clone out in the opposite direction
Aatrox
Use your movement to dodge his spells, he can't out heal vs you / If you're stride build with bork it is a free win
Ahri
Champion can make you run in weird directions when she R's over a wall and her E basically can't miss unless you dodge with your spells
Akali
Personally, I ban this champion. It's not the hardest matchup BUT my 93 year old grandma could play this champion and win SO. Looking for close up engages and short trades is best, buffer E early and try to knock her away. If that misses, try to juke Q's. Basically all you have in lane phase. Titanic can help this matchup since you can find her in the smoke by hitting other things. If she takes ignite, she basically always kills you. Try to find small outplays / habits the player has and take them a mile. Damage builds usually fair worse since she bursts faster. If you hit ult, BIG WIN FOR YOU!

If you can get close enough for her E's then Q after it starts he is a free kill, although it's hard to get a free E on him
Alistar
This guy just simply won't let you play unless you're hitting him, look for ult angles onto someone to force perma frenzy

Annie players show what they're going to do with movement, just hit E at a good time and you won't die then kill after
Anivia
Knowledge check on Anivia's side. She has stun that will get you if you engage from TOO far. Try to walk up with creative movement and get a W1>Q in one fluid motion. This can make her unable to reactive the Q stun. Your ultimate stops channeled abilities so it's a good idea to send this if you're out of cooldowns. Try to get close without taking much damage, E for minions and W1>Q>W2>Ultimate for solo kills.

Your linear walking makes for big barrel combos, but you do straight one shot him so better player wins when even. This champ ulting you is a big problem though during ganks

Buffer your E when he goes to Q you. If he takes phase rush it's pretty impossible to kill him unless he played bad. Save secondW for before he ults to try and not get executed
Gnar
Don't let this little guy jump on your head to get away and you should be fine. Mega Gnar just throws you into walls and it's not as fun. Try to buffer E on his combos

Early fights you can win by engaging first and dealing good damage. She will try to trade that damage back, when he goes for her snipsnip Q try to predict it and use your E to put her into the wall. Be careful using W towards her from too far because her W will cancel yours. This matchup early game is Briar favored but late game she wins pretty easily unless you play around your team well
Hecarim
Mostly you E his E/R towards you if you think there is good value there. Try your best to fight him when he doesn't have Q stacks. W1>Q should be a good little chunk onto him, if you realize you didn't do much damage. GET OUT ASAP. He wins longer fights, you win fast ones.
Heimerdinger
This champ will bang you out with your linear movement. Use your W to dodge his stun, he still might one shot you tho. Ganking from behind is good after your teammate starts the gank

Use your movement to dodge her E, charge your E on her W or combo. Point and click stun is good to cancel her Q's to stack up

A good jayce with E buffer your Q which is usually pretty good for him. He will either ranged EQ you and run after that with phase rush and you're gone or he turns the fight and kills you. Usually you can kill him on the second rotation of cooldowns if you didn't 1shot him off the jump

Jinx's passive is the whole game you're playing. If she gets a kill on a teammate, LOOK TO GET OUT ASAP. But outside of that, this is a standard W1>Q passed or around the traps and deal enough damage. You can also throw ultimate through her traps in a pinch.
K'Sante
When you're ganking this champion and you break his combos up a bit with Q slowing it down, W for movement and E to delay him it's pretty good. Him with frostfire in a 1v1 beats anyone though so pick your spots
Kai'Sa
Kai'sa can evade you kind of well with a good timed R and E update for invis dropping your frenzy. If you R her first tho the invis doesn't matter because of true sight and you'll be fast enough to bypass her R. Big chomp
Kalista
Kalista is pretty free, W1>Q on top of her and deal mega damage. Only real things you need to worry about are if she kites you hard and has tons of spears in you. Try to predict when she will cast E (rend) with your E to try and reduce the damage. And her ultimate pulling someone in, it can mess up your W sometimes!
Karma
Depends on what she is trying to accomplish. Try to juke her Q with your W1, she will always W you, when it is about to root you, use your Q that way you are both cc'd at the same time. Helps you with chasing her.
Kassadin
Kassadin has very weak early game so you should always be getting fed while he is scaling. Then it becomes a fight of how fed you are and his innate scaling. Try to chase him over walls with W1 or Ultimate perma chasing. W1>Q after he ults in to trade the damage he dealt, he should retreat and you should reset your cooldowns during this.
Katarina
You always want to save at least one CC spell for her, if she's engaging on you, just save Q for her ultimate. But if you engage on her W1>Q then make sure to have E ready to cancel her Ultimate. Other than that try to not fall for the baits under turret for pulling you to her team
Kayle
High level Kayles actually counter Briar when played perfectly, so it's tough for me to say too much. Really dependent on her skill. I usually try to W1>Q>auto>early W2 then cancel your own frenzy with E. Try to get greedy with your wall stuns. If you notice she is dodging early E's, start changing up your timings. Late game monster so pick your spots well, don't get baited by her ultimate.
Kennen
Fast combos fair pretty well into Kennen. Best case scenario, you W1>Q>early W2> buffer E right as your stun ends and are able to push him away for free. This leaves him with lower health and not much chance to trade back on you. Good Kennens will start to E immediately after your Q, dodge your E then punish you hard. Be very aware of how he is using his E. If you figure out his plan, try to counter it with E. Always push his ult away from your team. Engaging on him in a minion wave is very good
Kled
Volatile matchup, both of you kill each other well. His dismount will make your frenzy end or you'll run to another target till he lands. Use your W1 to dodge his Q EVERYTIME, THIS SPELL HURTS. Early E can help with his trades too. Make a choice between early E or late E in the trade. His all in can be scary, he usually wins low health exchanges more times than not.
Kog'Maw
Usually a free kill for Briar, try to dodge his slow with your W1, if you get close enough W>Q, he should melt. Only thing to be aware of is if you don't have the damage to kill him, he does TONS of damage on the trade back.
LeBlanc
Leblanc is really good at kiting melees, try to get close enough to W1>Q without much time between spell casts. You can't really kill her 1v1 unless she tries to fight you (which you would win). She wins by wasting your time. If she gets fed, buffer your E early because she will one shot you
Leona
Usually this champion is going in on your team, you can try to kill their team and ignore their pressure. OR you can try to peel their engage off with a defensive E. Try to buffer Leona's E with your E. Put her in the wall before her W starts. Cannon minion...
Lissandra
This champion could do everything wrong and you STILL might run out of damage. Your Q stun isn't long enough to stop her from Eing unless perfectly timed vs them. Tons of CC and magic damage
Lucian
Lucian can kite you if he is fed. His passive movespeed + an enchanter can mess you up a ton. Pretty easy kill if he isn't ahead tho, W1 towards him, wait for his E then follow him with Q. Should be a cannon minion. Can be worth it to E his ultimate but be careful for his next set of cooldowns
Lulu
This champion hits the W key when you go in and now the game is unplayable wooo! It's important to focus enchanters before the carry tho, so send it in! Get CC'd, and do this while your team is near to make sure there's something good happening during the pressure you're soaking
Lux
Only use your W1 to dodge her Q and it should be a free win. If you ult her she might full combo you on the way in, that feels bad so check your health first. Other than Q, there really isn't much other than E'ing her highest damage moments
Malphite
Malphite is pretty weak in jungle. He only really ganks by walking up to your team or ultimate. Ultimate has a long cooldown and walking into a gank isn't very good. Look to kill him with your team during your Q debuff or just ignore him. His attack speed slow can mess with your animations at times though, be aware of it so you don't cancel autos.
Malzahar
The only real way he "beats" you is by not interacting with you until teamfights, then ulting you. Try to W1>Q him, get your PTA proc'd then walk away. He cant do too much to you early game so def try to punish him
Maokai
Maokai is like most tanks, they want to CC you and waste your time. Try to dodge his Q with your W1 and be careful of his W making you drop frenzy. W1>Q really fast and deal a huge chunk to him. Buffer E into his engage and try to put him into a wall
Milio
Dodge his knock back with your W and it's pretty free. Don't try Q into E combo because he will just cleanse it, other than that. FOCUS HIM WITH R
Miss Fortune
Miss Fortune will punish you very hard for focusing anyone but her. Likely if you hit someone on her team, she will ALREADY be ulting you lol. Try to cancel her ult with flash Q then W. Should be a kill
Mordekaiser
Sideways W1 his E, then choose if you want to fight by using your E. This champion will usually beat you in a fair 1v1, try to W1>Q before he ults, get a huge chunk with your team, then it's possible to fight him in his ult!
Morgana
Use your W1 to dodge her Q, and your Q will probably get spell shielded but you'll still be melee range to deal damage! Be careful of her ulting you though, then she will sync up her next Q with that and you'll be in pain. You can get creative with baiting her spell shield and then Q'ing someone else to find value. Always try to find sneaky angles to E her before her ultimate or after black shield wears off
Naafiri
This matchup seems like it would be bad because her W. Reality is, if you W1>Q and get Naafiri's W. You have a window to W1>Q again before her cooldowns are back. So, create your own windows for engage. Try and hide your W1>Q within other animations (like killing minions.) Use your E on her Q's or her ultimate to try and put her into a wall. Main thing in this matchup is sneaky engages and use your E into her W or E.
Nami
She can bubble your R so be careful ulting other than that all she really has is bubble, which she can, if played perfectly use it on your Q. Can be a rough time sometimes but just try and be creative with your movements and spell timings, outside of wasting your time she doesn't do much
Nasus
Nasus Jungle doesn't do objectives very well and have an average clear speed with weak ganks. Clearing well and using Briar's good early game will help you can an advantage early and translate to late game. Look to E him away after he withers you and never fight on his E. Other than that, short combos are good for you. Nasus wants long fights. Black Cleaver is very good for you in this matchup. Try to always hit him with your team and don't give him opportunities to run you down.
Nautilus
If he cc's you to death, he's extreme threat, if he cc's your teammate, it's free game
Nilah
Wait out her counter strike and and then try? One of the only adc champs you don't destroy
Nunu & Willump
Dodge his snowball with your W then biggggg chomp energy, only thing that beats you is if he ults and you don't E it
Olaf
You kinda hard win early game if you fight him till level 6. At level 6 you lose your Q and E versus him. Making him hard win. Best thing to do is bait his ultimate, jump over some walls with Q or W, run his ultimate out then look for a reengage. OR let him his your team then try to just W and deal damage to kill him
Orianna
WQ is usually enough to beat this champion. Be careful to not get too chunked from her Q-R-W and you should be okay. Also it's good to think about your ultimate because she will sometimes ult when you land from R so you might have to buffer your E
Ornn
Ornn does a TON of damage, killing him is really tough until 2 items. Once you have that you should outsustain him. Big things to do are use his spells against him, try to E him during his E or R. It can net you a lot of value, you don't really need BotRK against him, mostly just Black Cleaver alone makes this playable
Pantheon
Some parts of this matchup are skilled based. Like you can buffer your E into his WQ combo. He will then E your WQ combo so it usually just turns into a stalemate unless one is more fed than the other. EQ-QE combo is usually good
Poppy
Poppy Jungle has pretty average/bad clear speed so it's all about tempo. If you can clear camps fast and trade plays it goes VERY WELL FOR YOU. Black Cleaver is a must vs this champion. Engaging onto Poppy can be easy just W1 towards her, she will answer with a W but DONT CAST Q. Wait till her W is over and you're standing on a cannon minion. She does have good burst if she angles you into a wall. Try and see this coming and buffer your E. One huge tip is to use your ultimate when you see her charging her ultimate. That way you can fly back into a fight after getting taken away
Pyke
Dodge his E with your W and it should be a free win. Sometimes his invis will drop your frenzy and that sucks. He is a good R target if it hits because he will run away and be a free kill or he will E to his team and it's big.
Qiyana
Early levels you actually deal more damage than her. Try to dodge her Q. Look for your own Q>E early if she uses her movement abilities badly. Otherwise W1>Q. The main thing that makes this matchup annoying is her spamming green/grass Q to go invis. Be creative with your ultimate to counterplay this. Ultimate = Win, Miss = lose. Once teamfights hit, it'll be a battle of you disrupting her team and her disrupting yours.
Quinn
This champion can do a little bit of out playing on you but usually it's just a free kill. She will E you away, you just keep chasing and wait out blind. Sometimes it's good to buffer E into her E just to deny her any chance of killing you.
Rakan
This champ can only waste your time, which is his plan. Dodge his W with your W and it's good. He is a great R target because if he E's to his team afterwards, it's a free teamfight win
Rell
She is kinda a free kill for you. Only thing you have to do is not omega stack on her combos and it's free. Usually best to just go kill her team before her or burst when aftershock is down
Renata Glasc
She can R your R / Engage and that will be pretty rough. It's on you to dodge her spells which isn't impossible with your W. Better player wins this
Renekton
This champ either runs away from you after doing his combo or walks forward because you can't trade back damage. Big hitbox for ultimate blocking too. Kinda annoying but if he combos someone else then you can trade big damage back
Riven
Another one of the top laners that you can't kill unless they choose to fight you. They can always choose to run away and fight on their terms. Focus the team rather than her
Rumble
This champion can fight you 1v1 in terms of damage with antiheal and just puts a ton of damage on you if you over extend. But on the same note, if Rumble goes a little too far it's a free kill for you.
Ryze
Biggggg chomp energy, just accept that he can ultimate away from you but you can shoot your R at his
Samira
Save your Q for her ultimate and it's a free win. Other than that be careful trying to ultimate her because her W can negate it
Senna
BIGGGGGGG CHOMP use W to dodge her root and keep it pushing. Sometimes her invis will drop your frenzy, that sucks oh well

One of the rare "Even" matchups with ranged people. But she can buffer her R into your R and just get a full combo off of you. If you live the combo then you kill her tho. Can be annoying if your team can't get you any space vs her.
Sett
Unless he does the EW 1 tap on you it's a free kill. Buffer your E into his W and you never die from it. You can Q to breakup his autos. The idea is to get him low where he needs to W to win the fight and then you E to make losing impossible
Shaco
I tend the WQ on top of him then buffer E before he ults that way your E hits both of them. It's usually a free kill from there if he's in the wall. Putting the fight on him is what he DOES NOT WANT. He wants you to get baited into his team or traps so be disciplined about where and when you fight. Try to use your passive animation to find the real Shaco after he ults. Titanic Hydra is good in this matchup since it gives you good burst and can kill traps that he puts down
Shen
Shen cannot kill you but unless he messes up you cant kill him. He will also ultimate someone around the same time you try to W2 them. So, it can be annoying playing against Shen. But usually he's a nonfactor to you if you dodge his taunt. E him out of his W
Zyra
Zyra Jungle has a faster clear than you and scales better. It's worth noting that her gank tool is a dodgable CC. So, realistically she should only be strong by clearing well and getting what's given to him. A well timed invade is VERY good against her, if you throw her off their full clear, she will usually push forward to trade that camp and a mage walking forward is a good thing for you. Try to sideways W1 to dodge her stun OR Q her during his stun that way she's not walking away while you cannot move. This matchup is all about not taking free damage and having explosive plays! Don't forget to ultimate her if you're out of options since it cleanses crowd control! Often times people don't attack her plants with autos but there's good value in taking them out if you have free time in a fight
Zoe
I buffer E upon getting slept just to heal and damage reduce her combo. She can be annoying if she's poking you, but it's a free kill if you ever engage on her
Zilean
Pretty annoying champ because he will put bombs on your linear walking direction. Use W to dodge one of the two bombs. If someone dies but gets revived try to charge E on his R target and it's a free kill
Ziggs
Annoying runaway poke champ. Get creative with movement to dodge his spells. He will W to get away from you frame one if he gets ulted. Try to buffer a fast Q out of ultimate to give you more damage on him if he wasn't frame perfect
Zeri
BIGGGG CHOMP, care her jumping over walls tho
Zed
This champ will kite you around by hopping to shadows. Generally speaking you want to buffer E into his R for a stun if you get the timing correct. In a world that he isn't ulting you, try to E the Shuriken combo he sets up as this is most of his damage. Fast combos are very good in this matchup

Yorick
This champion is either 10/0 or 0/10 based off of your top laner running it or running him. Get out of his cage with W or Q then take the fight. He does get a lot of movement speed to dodge your E tho so raw hitting an E can be tough
Yone
When ganking this champ, try to W1>Q and deal damage with your teammate. He will usually try to E, then run you the opposite direction to snap back and create distance. Choose if you want to E and stand on him or accept him walking for slightly more damage. Your Q puts you melee range and this messes up with ultimate away by shortening it. Usually easy ganks
Yasuo
When ganking Yasuo just think about the ways he will try to escape. He will try to E through minions to waste your W duration or walk passed you to E through you. You can cancel his E dash with your Q. Timing this correctly has high value. Sync your cooldowns up with your teammates damage and it should be free. If he starts outplaying you, remember that your E can outplay his knock up + ultimate by casting E before his knock up.
Xin Zhao
I like to E his engage just to break up his combo then fight him on my terms. He does have good skirmish early so if his team has first rotate, you're in a bad spot. E buffer his Q3 if you have it.
Shyvana
Shyvana's do almost nothing all early game other than farming and dragons. Take advantage of this by forcing good ganks early. Always be aware of her wanting dragons, use this against her. Ping your team or ward dragon yourself. W1>Q should usually be a fight win, if she tries to fight back. Always E her E or Q. This matchup is all about you tracking her and denying dragons.
Singed
Sometimes he W-E's and burns you if you try to chase. Sometimes you just 1 combo him with WQ, better player wins this. Usually just kill his team first
Sion
Use your W to dodge his Q or Just Q his Q. He shouldn’t really get that damage on you unless you ult him. If he is ulting towards your team you can just charge E and wall slam him and that breaks up his Ult + Q combo so it’s really good. Worst thing that happens is you W and he just body blocks hard
Sivir
Just W towards her, usually this alone can kill her so don’t feel like you have to Q and get it spell shielded. It’s all about baiting her shield then punishing. At worst you can just W+ smite + Q to break it
Skarner
Counter ganking Skarner is a BIG PROBLEM FOR HIM. You skirmish well into him 1v1 but he will usually try to stay around his team and CC you for them. If 1v1 > deal a lot of damage look to kill. Otherwise, try your best to hit his team. You can use your E before any of his CC to counter his gameplan even his ultimate. Using your W1 to dodge his rock throw has good value also
Sona
BIGGGG CHOMP, you can E her ultimate if you think it is worth it, usually if she ults you, your next W will be the one that kills her. Try to W1 her ult if possible
Soraka
Even because of what she does to her team, not in the 1v1. She will silence where you land from ultimate or she will silence after you W + Q. If she silences after either one, you cannot W2 or E which is a huge problem. Most times she will get ulted, E herself then wait for it to root then walk away, Hopefully you have killed her by then
Swain
It mostly depends on how fed you are, you guys will drain tank each other for a while but if you see yourself losing you can try to E him away. Use W1 to dodge his E (but make sure nothing else to auto is around) Generally speaking tho you want to bait his ultimate then E him away, let his ultimate drop off then regank him
Sylas
Sylas can burst you down before your healing matters if he’s strong but usually you will W1 to dodge his E then just tear him apart. The real terror of this matchup is he can E2 ( chains ) your Q, which DRASTICALLY reduces your damage. So be careful feeding into that. One of the rare times that building anti heal has value but likely ignite should be enough. Any build works, Spirit Visage is huge vs him. When going to side lane, starting with ultimate is likely a free kill. Be careful of junglers in this matchup, people play towards Sylas often
Syndra
This should be a big chomp by using W1 to dodge her stun but let’s be honest. Syndra E hit box is broken so it’ll hit you anyways. Dodge her stun / she uses stun on someone else then you kill her.
Tahm Kench
Similar to Sion, you can E his engage to break it up, sometimes you’ll just beat him down sometimes you get ulted into his turret. Pick your spots right and try to kill his team first
Talon
Talon is usually an easy matchup, if he tries to combo you, E through it, if you combo him, it’s a one shot. His ultimate dropping you W1 frenzy can be annoying but that also makes him an awesome ultimate target because of the true sight.
Taric
Taric by himself isn’t a big deal. Dodge the stun with W1 or tank it and deal damage after. The problem can easily turn into, you ult someone and he ults with them, now your engage isn’t as good BUT they will be clumped so it’s manageable.
Xerath
Dodge his stun with movement and it’s a pretty free kill. When he ults you get vision of where he is so you can ult his ult and it’s pretty high chance of hitting. When you land from ultimate you can W1 to try and dodge the stun. Hexdrinker makes it unloseable
Xayah
One of the only ADCs to give you trouble. You can engage on her pre 6 and it’s free after that you have to bait her ult with first WQ then reset the situation. If you frenzy into feathers you probably die. Charging E into her recall of feathers is smart but sometimes you die anyway.
Teemo
Blind is the only thing that messes you up, usually you just kill him after it but if he damage checks you it's a rough game. Care for teamfights and he blinds you
Warwick
Tons of little interactions here. If you can buffer E into his ult, he still gets slammed. If you feed your W1 into his E then you lose. Try to bait his E by QE combo then W after wall slam or just out movement him.

Volibear
I always try to E his Q stun. Either push him away or into a wall. Only use your W if you're going to deal enough damage that he will feel. Voli wants you to fight him when he W's you. He wants to spam his E shield and W heal to outlast every fight. So you have to keep your damage in mind and know if you will win the fight. If you don't know, you shouldn't fight
Vladimir
He can at anytime break Frenzy with his W which messes you up a ton. Try to gank him after this is down and he's a free kill. Late game he does just burst you or your whole team so you have to punish him hard. If he ever comes out of W you have to full combo.
Viktor
If you ult him, use your W and Q to try and dodge out of his W. Or just save W till after the stun if he is not near turret. All in all, just one shot him and E his combo when possible
Viego
Viego's main gameplan is to get his passive proc. If this happens IMMEDIATELY LEAVE THAT TEAMFIGHT unless you see a great angle. His passive is a game winner. Try to use your W1 to dodge his W stun. If he ever is too close to you or your team, looking for a fast W1>Q can be super valuable. During his soul steal you can sometimes setup a big E wallbang for him to eat. Overall, try to deny him getting resets or disrupt his team yourself.
Vex
This champion practically full counters you. You can only gank her when she uses fear on your team, after that it's a clean one shot. But if her team has priority you get destroyed and your E isn't enough
Vel'Koz
Save W1 to dodge his E and it's a free kill. Only real problems are if you ult him and he times his E correctly, you will take that combo. If he doesn't just mash W1 to dodge it then kill him
Veigar
If you get caught in the cage, try to time your E to take the WQ combo. If he cages your team, use everything and just kill him. Have to wait out his E to play the game tho.
Vayne
Pre 6 you just have to wait for her to E your team. After 6 she makes you drop frenzy by ULT Q'ing. So, your main counter play is killing her support or hitting her with ult for the true sight
Varus
Only have to dodge his ultimate being buffered into your ultimate. If you use W1 or flash to dodge his ult it's a free kill. Be careful of his E applying grievous wounds on you.
Urgot
This matchup is TERRIBLE. If you get flipped into his full combo he destroys you. If you W1 to dodge the E you're in a good spot and can always E to disengage. You can also his backwards during his E to put him into the wall
Twitch
You always destroy this champion BIGGGG CHOMP. His Q can drop frenzy if you are too far from him. Ultimate landing is always a free kill. Try to Dodge his W with your W, the slow can hurt
Twisted Fate
If you're getting invaded by him and his JG, he will stun card you to force your E then it's up to you to flash away or take the fight. If it's just him buffer your Q into his stuncard and go 1 for 1 then kill him after. Pretty easy
Tryndamere
This matchup is Tempo based where if you're ahead you can burst him to force his ultimate then just hold your E till he is about to die. But he will do the same to you sometimes and use his E to dodge yours. You can catch him slipping with a good W2 execute kill. All in all, prioritize his team over him.
Trundle
Trundle has AD reduction built in so taking fights raw against him is not very good. You should try to burst him with short combos and E him away. Be careful of missing your E because he can chase VERY WELL. I love W or Q over walls since he cannot jump them. Attacking Trundle with your team is a very good thing. You really need to see the fights before they happen and try your best to not get caught.
Tristana
This champion mid lane can try to invade you at your third camp with ignite and jump after you use your spells. In the 1v1 she can buffer jump to get away from you and at worst she will ultimate you away. Best case scenario for you is to engage on her after she W's into your team
Thresh
Thresh can annoy you with Q'ing or E'ing where your ult will land. But use his lantern as a way to get a multi man ultimate. Always shoot ult at him instead of the teammate. All in all, big chomp
Hwei
If you W towards him early he will just fear you and walk away. Use your spells to dodge his. Generally speaking it's a free kill if you dodge his cc. E his ultimate and W combo
Brand

Jax can be very tough if they are GOOD. But 99% of them are not good vs Briar. If he uses E > Q onto you, Buffer your E immediately. Put him into the wall then damage check him with WQ. If you're late with the E or he has flash he will just dodge it and beat you. Times like this look to ward hop or W over a big wall / flash away then reset the situation. Ulting him after his E is a free win
Wukong
Be careful of his W. This spells destroys us. Either he will hit W when you W1 and then you're hitting the wrong target or he will W your R before it hits. His double ult combo also bodies us. Overall just let him waste spells on someone else and PUNISH HARD.
You do clear better and skirmish's better in the jungle if he uses W for damage
Ambessa
Ambessa has decent clear speed but her ganks are pretty weak. Early game you should be able to generate a decent advantage by default clearing and regular ganks. W1 towards her and let her use some spells to create distance then use your Q that you saved. Try to W2 late if she shields herself early. Her mid/late game around 3+ items, she can start to kite you while dealing more damage. Be aware of this and start changing targets or punishing her with your team.
Sejuani
Sejuani wants to frontline for her team and CC enemies for them to deal damage. Try your best to W1 her dash engage and trade back with your Q. Using E right before her stuns is a VERY GOOD interaction. Overall this matchup is decided by you not getting caught by her and going backline with ultimate can have good value. BotRK can be very good first or third.
Zaahen
Zaahen does beat Briar in late game 1v1's but Briar wins early game 1v1's. Try to use your better ganking tools and even clear to get an advantage. I like to take short combos and E early vs him. Only fighting and trading on my terms. I never overextend vs this champion, that's what he wants. You can always time your E to put him into a wall right before his revive passive completes.

Briar can be confusing with knowing who you will target in every situation. But just keep in mind that your Head Rush (Q): Q makes Briar prioritize that target.
So, in the circumstance you have to steal a dragon you would Blood Frenzy (Q): W1 over the wall, Q to the dragon, then W2 + Smite for tons of damage!
This can be tough when stealing baron because your Head Rush (Q): Q will make Baron push you off which can delay your Snack Attack (W): Snack Attack W2 + Smite combo but it is still realistic to pull off!
