Runes
The runes I use for Shaco are entirely attack damage and critical strike chance. Giving Shaco these early game boosts make a huge difference in picking up FB and going for early game ganks.
Masteries
Again, I pick up this set of masteries for larger damage output at the beginning of the game, whilst improving both summoner spells ideal for this build. For a DPS melee character, this is probably the best set of masteries you can utilise.
-
: For obvious reasons, Berserker's Greaves are the essential boots for any Auto-Attack DPS Champ.
-
: The Wriggle's Lantern will be of great help at the beginning of the game. The lifesteal is a must for Shaco, whilst the damage and armour will help you early on in the game, especially to help get Red Buff.
-
: Another obvious choice, the Infinity Edge's passive ability will add tons of damage to your crits. A must-have for Shaco and champions alike.
-
: This item is probably only good to buy if you continue to rack up large killstreaks and can sustain the stacks for a while. If you fail to do this, I would recommend an item such as
or
.
- : This final item will help you hugely in adding that final bit of damage, whilst giving you a large amount of health. This will help you stay alive with your Bloodthirster stacks and is perfect to round off the build. This item could be swapped out with more damage items, or maybe even armour, health or magic resistance items.
