Introduction

Today, I present to you my Shaco guide for Twisted Treeline games. It's a pretty standard Shaco build, with some large crit chance and huge DPS. I hope you find this guide useful, it has taken me a lot of time to put this together, and I hope you will appreciate the effort I have made. I have been playing Shaco for a while now and I find this build the most useful I have created for any champion, with large damage output from the start right up to the end.
Pros / Cons
Pros
+ Great Farmer/Jungler
+ Brilliant Ganker due to deceive
+ Two-Shiv can do huge damage when maxed
+ JIB is extremely effective start game
Cons
- Extremely Squishy throughout game
- If targeted in a team fight, it will be hard to stay alive
- Thornmail is extremely effective against Shaco

Runes/Masteries

Runes

The runes I use for Shaco are entirely attack damage and critical strike chance. Giving Shaco these early game boosts make a huge difference in picking up FB and going for early game ganks.

Masteries

Again, I pick up this set of masteries for larger damage output at the beginning of the game, whilst improving both summoner spells ideal for this build. For a DPS melee character, this is probably the best set of masteries you can utilise.

Items

  • : For obvious reasons, Berserker's Greaves are the essential boots for any Auto-Attack DPS Champ.
  • : The Wriggle's Lantern will be of great help at the beginning of the game. The lifesteal is a must for Shaco, whilst the damage and armour will help you early on in the game, especially to help get Red Buff.
  • : Another obvious choice, the Infinity Edge's passive ability will add tons of damage to your crits. A must-have for Shaco and champions alike.
  • : This item is probably only good to buy if you continue to rack up large killstreaks and can sustain the stacks for a while. If you fail to do this, I would recommend an item such as or .
  • : This final item will help you hugely in adding that final bit of damage, whilst giving you a large amount of health. This will help you stay alive with your Bloodthirster stacks and is perfect to round off the build. This item could be swapped out with more damage items, or maybe even armour, health or magic resistance items.

Skill Sequence

Ability Sequence Order

The first ability I unlock is the JIB. This is extremely helpful in getting first blood and his helpful when farming early. I always max out Two-Shiv Poison first, as it is extremely helpful with slowing and securing the kill on champions.

Jungling

Jungling

With Shaco, I try to get red buff as soon as I get my Wriggle's Lantern. I go for dragon around level 6 or 7 as a team, and I usually solo it between 10-15. I take out the rest of the jungle around level 16 to give a great boost to level 18.

Summary

I didn't go into too much detail in this guide, but I hope it helps in some way. If you like this build, I'll release more in the future!
