Taliyah recently received a slight re-work in patch 8.11, which everyone thought would make her useless but instead has made her a PICK or BAN in ranked solo queue. Especially, OP right now is Taliyah in the Jungle role and this is being used and abused at Challenger high elo across the world. Taliyah jungle is extremely mobile, high damage and certainly fun, to play! I want everyone to be able to play Taliyah in the jungle before it gets nerfed to the ground so made this guide based on Korean builds for everyone to enjoy! I hope everyone finds it as a useful guide to pull up before they get into game and to keep up for item builds, I have included everything you need to know for early game pathing and gameplay but will do my best to keep it as up-to-date as possible! When out of combat, Taliyah builds movement speed whenever traveling near walls.

Q: THREADED VOLLEY
Passive: Taliyah gains increased movement speed when traversing worked ground.

Active: Taliyah rips up the ground around her, firing a volley of five stone shards in a target direction while moving freely. Casting Threaded Volley converts the area into worked ground for a few minutes. Additional Threaded Volley casts over worked ground will yield just one rock projectile.

W: SEISMIC SHOVE
Taliyah marks a target location. After a brief delay, the ground erupts, knocking up and damaging all enemies caught in the blast zone. Taliyah can recast Seismic Shove before it erupts to throw the victims in any targeted direction—even over walls.

E: UNRAVELED EARTH
Taliyah scatters boulders onto the ground before her. Opponents who dash through the fractured earth take damage from an explosion. After a few seconds, any remaining rocks in the field erupt, dealing a second wave of damage.

R: WEAVER'S WALL
Taliyah briefly channels before summoning a massive wall of spiraling rock that tears through the Rift in a target direction. Taliyah can reactivate Weaver's Wall while channeling to ride atop the wall as it emerges. Taking damage or inputting a move command in any direction will cut her ride short.

Item Build Order

Item wise, you need to focus on building Taliyah in the early game full AP burst damage, as heavy as possible! Here E + W + Q combo with red smite can guaranteed 100-0 any squishy enemy champion during the early game when people are focused themselves on building damage :) Once you have runic echoes jungle item and sorcerer's shoes rush Rylai's, this item will particularly help you with landing your W and it also adds to your amazing chase potential thanks to your passive. Morellnomicon will give you more CDR, AP and reduce enemy's healing, Rabadon's Deathcap and Void Staff is for the overkill AP so that you top the charts! Zhonya's is also an option if you need some more outplay/survival ability!

In teamfights, Taliyah's area of effect abilities give her masterful power over her enemies' positioning. She might use Seismic Shove to hurl incoming juggernauts away from the fight, then slow the enemy team's exposed backline with carefully-planted Unraveled Earth. Taliyah's damage-less ult means that she won't bring major burst power to fights, but she can unearth her Weaver's Wall to split their team in half, giving Taliyah and her team the chance to gang up on exposed opponents before moving onto those left behind.

Taliyah's ult is a fantastic tool to zone enemies away from neutral objectives such as Baron Pit or also trap them inside allowing your team to either rush baron or collapse on them and win the teamfight. Be careful however, if you ride that wall into the 5 man enemy team be prepared to get insta deleted when they turn their focus on you!


Key to Taliyah's recent success in the jungle role has been her ability to press her advantage with speed and grace. Her passive lets her rapidly cruise alongside jungle walls, catching up to escaping enemies or making her way to a far-flung tower. Once late-game hits and she drops a third point into her ultimate, its range increases enormously—she can steal an enemy blue buff after a fight, then Weaver's Wall to double-time it all the way to the enemy's Brambleback camp for the double-buff. She's cute though... so she deserves it ;)

Taliyah jungle is a super fun and completely busted OP right now thanks to her super fast jungle clear speed, mobility and huge burst damage with CC! Riot have yet again failed to nerf a champion and by mistake made her even more OP. I for one will be spam playing her jungle in solo queue and recommend you do too!
