Why Doran's ring? The ap scaling on your E does a lot of poke damage in the beginning. Whenever you have a chance, the splash on the E can be devastating to your enemy. Once they're low enough then one shot. |

| Also may be weird but her ap scaling allows her early game to be amazing. Vi lacks the early game and she needs to scale, but does she really? As long as she has a little bit of ap scaling she can devastate the early game because of her E damage. So don't be afraid to build that little bit of ap that'll help you dominate the early game. |

| After patch 9.5 Vi has added a crit on E ;). Crit vi is amazing, and since you're mid lane you're most likely replacing an assassin. Your one shot potential is amazing and screw being tanky, lets kill people. Your R is the instant engage and so is your Q so the rest is so easy as long as you can auto a couple of times. All you need is three, one less than Jhin. |

Vi has a 90% ap scaling on her E giving her a early game advantage if she can build around it. You one shot and you have so many roaming abilities just use them!

You deal so much damage from a far, especially in lane. Your E is cheap and has a lot of poke damage that can be very beneficial to a full on engage. Your E has so much range so don't be afraid to farm, poke, and kill your enemy with it. So versatile because it scales off of ad and ap, provides range, and is efficient.

A key to being a good league player is having a great mindset, do not get tilted through harassment because you're better than them all. Consider Vi a different version of Shyvana, a champion who was considered a bruiser to an AP assassin.
