Hello! I'm KingStix. Yep, King of Fiddlesticks. I created this name when I was a true Fiddlesticks main years ago. He is how I originally climbed to diamond and I'm now a challenger jungle main. I stopped playing him because at some point he became too weak and nearly unplayable. The only time you'd every see him is in the support role. Eventually though, he became a decent jungle pick again and that's right- I'm back to playing the King- Fiddlesticks. Point & click CC allows his team to shut down a single hypercarry
He has great team fight impact with his ultimate
He is easy to playa with bad internet/ PC

Fiddlesticks Cons
He can't really 1v1 anyone
He has no chase down potential

Early Game Fiddlesticks

Fiddlesticks has a decent early game. He can clear his camps very quickly if you are doing so properly. He doesn't even need a leash OR a refillable potion! I highly recommend practicing his clear in the training tool because getting 6 quickly is rather important as it is a massive powerspike. Although his pre 6 ganks aren't the best, if the enemies are pushing up he does have the potential to gank and pick up an early kill or assist. Walk up BEHIND the enemy and press Q to fear the enemy into your teammate.

Tip for clearing: when taking skuttle, make sure you fear then smite for a fast clear speed. The skuttle takes bonus damage if he is CC'd.

The clear route on Fiddlesticks:
If the enemy blue buff is on the top side of the map, don't worry- they won't start top side. Walk to their wolves as they are spawning in (don't go early just incase) and take the wolves then the blue and gromp at the same time. You can see how I do that in this video. The video will also show you how to use your starting Control Ward and Oracle Lens! It is essential for you to kill them quickly like this (simultaneously) and get out. This is followed by golems > red > raptors.

If you are on the other side of the map, just do the same blue side route but starting on your own wolves instead. This is followed by raptors > red > golems. This video will show you how to do this clear route and play Fiddlesticks in the early game. Play Video

Mid Game Fiddlesticks

Woohoo! You now have your awesome AOE ultimate. This part of the game is where you should pick up the majority of your kills and really snowball the game to a quick victory. Here are some tips:

1. Use your ultimate every time it is off cool down ASAP. Start looking for gank opportunities shortly before it is up.

2. Prioritize bot lane as you can pick up 2 kills instead of 1 since your ultimate is AOE.

3. Use your Oracle Lens before ganking to make sure you aren't going to just waste your ult if the area is warded.

Late Game Fiddlesticks

Please tell me your team isn't mostly AP! If it isn't, Fiddlesticks has a pretty decent late game! You should have a Zhonya's Hourglass which will be necessary for team fighting. A Morellonomicon is almost always a great option because there is a lot of healing in League of Legends even if you aren't going against a Soraka or Vladimir but especially if you are ;). ADCs take heal and lifesteal, most supports offer healing in some amount, triumph is totally a thing, and so on. A Rabadon's Deathcap is also a great buy because he (kinda) relies on doing heavy damage to delete the enemy carry.

Tips on playing Fiddlesticks in the late game:

1. Oracle Lens is your new best friend. Sweep areas for wards so you can make great team fighting plays with your ultimate!

2. Position to the side of enemies on the other side of a wall that Fiddlesticks can jump (practice this in training tool!)

3. Focus the biggest threat on the enemy team by ulting in and using fear (+ other abilities) on that player.

4. After you ult (or when it's down), you're probably not your team's source of damage. Peel for your carry instead with your fear and silence.
