I am HolidayUniverse,Im playing in EUNE server. I currently have around 120000 mastery points on Thresh. I really enjoy playing Thresh bec he has a lot of CC, great surviving tool,99% slow on Rank 3 Ultimate. I started playing league Season 2 but stopped playing because my computer was bad AF. Thats why i stopped playing in Season 2. I retuned to league Season 7. I made new account and got to lv 30. On the first placements i got Bronze 5 on flex and Bronze 1 solo/duo. I was kinda trolling bec i had no game knowledge and played things like Amumu or Poppy Support. I played only normal games for around 5 months and my game knowledge improved so well. I started to ward, look at minimap, etc. After struggeling i got out of bronze, but silver was literally same as bronze. When i got Silver 3 season 7 ended. Season 8 was the season of success for me. I did placements 6-4 and i got placed Silver 5. In the summer of Season 8 i went from Silver 4 to Silver 2 so quickly. Then i got to promos for Gold 5 (my aim for the season was gold)and i got so excited i love to play Jhin and i played Jhin in my Gold promos. Thats how i got to Gold 5. Thats a little bit of myself.

Sometimes i stream.Follow me if u want!https://www.twitch.tv/holidayuniverse

Avoid picking thresh in low ELO if u dont understand Thresh's kit. His kit is unbelievely powerful in someone skilled's hands. Crowd Control,Slow and Survival Ability is so good for champion in LOL. If u understand how to play Thresh pick him.

PROS

+ Good CC
+ Good Roaming Potential
+ Passive scales AP/Armor
CONS
- Hard to Master
- Delay on Death Sentence
- High Skill Cap

Flash
Flash is taken by almost everyone in the game. It is pretty good, because it gives you escapability and opportunities to makes combos like W-Flash or Flash-E-Q level 2 combo. The level 2 combo almost every time guarantees a kill and gives you a big boom in the laning phase.
Ignite
Ignite is pretty good spell that is taken by almost every support in the game.It is now even better to pick instead of Exhaust, because the game's dragon changes, which made the game much more agressive. As u know with Ignite u can kill enemies and secure a dragon much easier, than with Exhaust. U can even reduce the healing on enemy champion with it. It just fits the meta better than Exhaust, especially after season 10's dragon changes!
Exhaust
I did not recommend this spell. It is not good right now because with the dragon changes the game is way too agressive. I think that u should take Ignite instead of Exhaust. U pick Exhaust only in games where enemy team has too many assasins.

PASSIVE
ABILITY
DAMNATION (Passive): Thresh's passive Damnation is his scaling tool. With it he scales Ability Power and Armor. To have decent amount of scaled Armor and AP u should collect souls constatly. U can collect souls from minions monsters champions and epic monsters. U can collect them by walking near them and by throwing Dark Passage near them. Each collected soul permanently grants Thresh 0.75 bonus ability power and 0.75 bonus armor and increases Dark Passage's shield strenght and Flay's minimum bonus magic damage by 1. Champions and large enemies always drop 1 soul, epic monsters always drop 2,but small minions and monsters have only 33% chance to drop only 1. Fun Fact. Nunu and Willump drop 2 souls bec they are human and animal, but Sejuani and her bear drop just 1 soul. WHY?
Q
ABILITY
Death Sentence: Death Sentence is Thresh's primary CC tool. After a 0.5-second delay, Thresh throws out his scythe in the target direction and forms a tether with the first enemy hit, dealing magic damage and stunning them for 1.5 seconds. Hitting an enemy reduces Death Sentence's cooldown by 3 seconds. While the tether persists, Thresh is disarmed and periodically tugs at his scythe's chain, pulling the target a short distance towards himself. After 0.5 seconds, or instantly upon hitting a minion or monster, Thresh can cast Death Leap ( Death Sentence's second cast) while the tether holds.

Death Leap: Thresh dashes to the tethered enemy, removing the stun but becoming able to attack again.

Cost: 70 Mana Cooldown: 20 / 18 / 16 / 14 / 12
W
ABILITY
Dark Passage: Dark Passage is Thresh's engage/disengage tool. He can collect his souls with Dark Passage too. Thresh throws his lantern to the target location, revealing its immediate surroundings and collecting nearby Damnation souls for the duration. The lantern remains for 6 seconds and automatically returns to Thresh if he moves more than 1500 units away from it.

Thresh and the first ally to come near the lantern is shielded for 4 seconds.
U can do so much combos with Dark Passage.
Cost:50 / 55 / 60 / 65 / 70 Cooldown: 22 / 19.5 / 17 / 14.5 / 12
Shield Strenght: 60 / 100 / 140 / 180 / 220 (+ 1 per collected Damnation soul)
E
ABILITY
Flay: Flay is your secondary CC tool. This is where most Thresh players make mistakes.
Passive: Thresh's basic attacks deal bonus magic damage, increasing with time spent not attacking enemy units or neutral monsters.
Active: Thresh sweeps his chain in a broad line towards the target direction, dealing magic damage to enemies hit, knocking them in the chain's direction, and slowing them afterwards for 1 second.

Cost: 60 / 65 / 70 / 75 / 80 Cooldown: 9
Bonus Magic Damage:
Collected Damnation souls (+ up to 100 / 125 / 150 / 175 / 200% AD
)
Magic Damage:
65 / 95 / 125 / 155 / 185 (+ 40% AP)

Slow:
20 / 25 / 30 / 35 / 40%
ULTIMATE
ABILITY
The Box: That is Thresh's HUGE CC and damage ability. 99% slow and 250 / 400 / 550 (+ 100% AP). That seems so strange uh?
It is!. Lets see the description.
Active: After a 0.75-second delay, Thresh surrounds himself with 5 spectral walls, each lasting for up to 5 seconds. Walls break upon contact with an enemy champion, dealing magic damage and slowing by 99% for 2 seconds.Enemy champions hitting any wall beyond the first take no damage and are Slow icon slowed for only 1 second.

FLAY INTO Q
-
Combo1: Get in E range of the target, E (pull) them towards you and immediately Q them. If you are using this against a low mobility champion and you know their flash is down you can Auto Attack them before the Q to deal your E passive proc damage. .
-> -> AA ->
The Box into E into AA into Q
-
Combo2:When in melee range of an enemy champion, cast R the, use E (push) to force them back into a wall of your R. If their flash is down feel free to weave an auto in to proc your E passive then follow up with a Q on the slowed target to lock them down.
->
Q into W
-
Combo3: Q a target, when it lands immediately throw your W towards an ally. When your reactivate your Q and the ally clicks the lantern you and the ally are both transported to the ally. .

W into Flash
-
Combo4: If you are getting ganked and ur ADC is so far of you throw her a lantern, wait until it pulls your ADC and then flash to disengage.

Resolve
I prefer Aftershock in front of Grasp of the Undying and Guardian because it grants you so much tankiness for a few seconds which in the early game is so helpful. Guardian is good option too because the shield is op.but i still prefer Aftershock in front of it.

I prefer Font of Life in front of Shield Bash and Demolish because the sustain. When Thresh CC someone and his ADC start to AA the target he CC'd the ADC starts sustaining for 1.75 seconds. Demolish is not a bad rune ,you can take it if u want to splitpush more heavy. Shield Bash is an option too.

Bone Plating is the best Resistance rune for almost every support.Support means u need to tank right? Bone Plating is best vs pokers like Lux, Nami, Xerath, Annie and more
