I started playing Eve after the nerf. After learning about lich bane, I quickly turn myself into a hybrid Eve. I had fun owning the normal game with her. After reaching lvl 30, I happend to change my skill sequence without knowing I had left the best skill to lvl up only til late game. For months, I failed my eve without a clue. I happend to believe ppl in 30s are just better at countering Eve.

Before my 30s, I put 1 point in shadow walk at lvl2 the rest of the sequence was R>E>Q>W. I use utility masteries for the speed and CD. This build worked great.

After 30s, I felt her Q was too mana draining; and happened to have this idea, the more AP I get the more cost efficient her Q gets, so I gave her Q 1 point only. Trying to pack more damage, I turn to Offensive Mastery. The skill sequence was R>E>W>Q. It just didnt work, I told my self, maybe they are all running away too quickly. And swap to R>W>E>Q. Hell, it made me a support Eve, acting like a stupid scout. That is suppose to be Teemo's Job.

On some sunny afternoon, an apple drop onto my head. The bright idea came across my mind, her hate spike actually had the best damage/mana ratio; a short CD giving her a great AP/sec ratio over time AKA DPS. With zero AP, her Q still pump out more damage than her E. Hate spike does not stop Eve from moving. Her Q is a DPS, farming and chasing skill all in one. She is a big truck that use lots of fuel, fuel her and you get everything. Dont drive her like some cheap fuel efficient small Japanese car.
