Introduction

Welcome to my take on 3v3 Shaco. This guide will be covering all aspects of Shaco, ranging from farming to laning, and everything inbetween. Please remember, this is a GUIDE. Following what's on here will not instantly make you an amazing player, and you shouldn't hesitate to change parts of the build/masteries ect as you see fit.

Abilities

Unique Passive:

Backstab is a pretty simple skill. It doesn't have a huge impact in fights since 90% of the time anyone you're fighting will be facing toward you. Backstab is mainly used for extra damage when jungling or when attacking minions.

[Q] Ability:

Cost:
90 / 80 /70 / 60 / 50 Mana
Cooldown: 11 seconds (After stealth fades)

Deceive is your bread and butter skill. You'll use this skill for ganking, chasing, running, and harassing. You want to avoid using this skill early on, since it is VERY mana-consuming and is definitely not worth the MP burn unless you're using it out of desperation to escape or make sure you get a kill.

Deceive can be used as a substitute to Flash. Below is a diagram showing the possible Deceive locations Shaco can use to his advantage.

[W] Ability:

Cost:
50 / 55 / 60 / 65 / 70 Mana
Cooldown: 16 seconds

Jack In The Box is very useful for map awareness as well as ganking. It can alternatively be used for Level 1 jungling, but this isn't recommended unless you're going against a very weak team composition.

Since you won't be leveling this skill or going AP-based, it's very weak and even a stack of 2-3 boxes will hardly damage your opponent comes mid-late game. I mainly use Jack In The Box when I'm solo-laning top, as it provides map awareness at gank locations.

Jack In The Box can also be used early game to get kills. Come level 6, bait your enemy into a bush with a Jack In The Box then proceed to using Hallucinate and duo-hitting them. If you're low on HP, let your clone take the damage and kite in with Deceive and Two-Shiv Poison.

Below is a map for Jack In The Box locations. Blue is priority while Red is secondary in terms of importance.

[E] Ability:

Cost:
50 / 55 / 60 / 65 / 70 Mana
Slow: 20 / 22.5 / 25 / 27.5 / 30 %
Cooldown: 8 seconds

Two-Shiv Poison is your basic harassing skill early and mid game. We level this up first, because after level 3 you can start harassing with it and take a significant chunk out of your opponents health bar every hit. It's low mana cost, and has more range than most casters, which allows you to kite them easily.

Two-Shiv Poison also has a very useful passive which slows enemies hit by either Shaco's auto attack or the active of Two-Shiv Poison for 2 seconds. This allows you to catch up to fleeing enemies. On minions, Two-Shiv Poison gives a 25% chance to miss, which helps when jungling or attacking minions early on.

[R] Ability:

Cost: 100 Mana
Cooldown: 100 / 90 / 80 seconds

Hallucinate is such an amazing skill. It lets you deal superb damage, tank dragon, bait and confuse enemies, and the best part is that it's cooldown is low.
