Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
I like having my two friends use ignite with my for a quick kill early game. Ignite is also amazing for the early game +10 ability power.
Flash is a must have spell for escaping or chasing. I don't know what I would do without it.
I made this completely off what I feel is needed. I really just wanted to be extremely powerful early game so as to get early kills. I feel that when you manage to get plenty of early kills the game goes your way in no time at all.
These runes will active your ability power passive. If you don't have a complete set of runes, try to get at least 10 ability power so that you can use the Ignite cool-down at level one to activate the ability power passive.
I chose dodge seals to better proc the Nimbleness mastery passive.
You want Mark of the Assassin to begin with in order to get any kills.
Twilight shroud should be second, and then Crescent Slash should follow after. Getting all three abilities by level 3 is, in my opinion, necessary to get any early game kills.
Level 4 and level 5 I put into Mark so as to better my damage output.
Obviously get your Ultimate at level 6.
You already have the ability power passive, now you need to get the attack power passive. I find that I like to get Long Sword to activate the passive rather than Doran's Blade. The reason is that I will get the best out of my money by buying phage soon after.
Lane until level 6. By that time if you have gotten any kills, you should have enough for Hextech Revolver, and Boots of Speed. If you find that you have enough for Boots of Swiftness, purchase them as well.
Next I like to buy Phage because It will increase the probability of you getting kills significantly. Hiding in a bush, waiting for a gank? Don't like it when the enemy you attack just runs away from your burst? Well this will solve that problem.
I decided that I would get Phage before Sheen for the reason stated above. Next is Sheen, because it increases your damage output quite a bit.
After I purchase Sheen I will normally be getting plenty of kills. If at this point you are not, perhaps you should read some Akali Guides. ^_^
Seeing as I have Sheen and Phage now, and my kills are increasing my gold count greatly, might as well buy Trinity Force right? So finish off that awesome item and move on to what is next.
After Trinity Force, you can get the other items in any order. If you find that you feel a bit squishy, go for the Sunfire Cape first. If you want more damage output, the Rageblade or the Hextech Gunblade upgrade is the proper choice.
I find that buying Rabadon's Deathcap last is best. This is because you will have more ability power from Rageblade and possibly the Gunblade, thus making the % increase in ability power larger.
I named this guide "For Myself" because it is for me to look back upon just in case I forget something. I would love advice and tips, seeing as I have only just started playing this game and have just made this build up from my own intuition.
If you liked the build, let me know in the comments below. Have fun ganking with Akali.
