Hey Guys, I'm Tactical Arms and this will be my first guide on Akali: The Fist of Shadow. Akali is high damage assassin who is great at destroying enemy carries before they can dish out any damage. She is also a very versatile champion able to get in and out if fights safely. I prefer to play Akali as a mid champion but she is also a great solo top champ if necessary.

The Runes i like to give Akali are aimed at being a STRONG threat early - mid while still having great late game potential. I choose 9 Marks of Insight, 9 Seals of Potency, 9 Glyphs of Potencyand 3 Quints of Swiftness

The Masteries i give Akali are your standard AP Casters Masteries with a 22/0/9 Mastery page.

I start with [*] bootsand three health pots. This gives me Great lane sustain if im laning against skillshot champions like Xerath, Ezreal, Ahriand more. I then try to rush my Hextech Revolver and giants belt for the damage and better sustain. If the enemy team has a lot of Stuns and Slows you're best picking Merc treadsotherwise stick with the Sorcerer Boots.You should now buy a sheen and your Hextech Gunblade.Now go and buy a Rylais, Lich Bane and Rabadons Deathcap. By now you should have enough damage to kill any squishy within 2 seconds. To Top it off you can buy either a void staffif the enemy team is buying a lot of Magic Resist or get a Zhonyas Hourglass for the armor and extra Ability power.

Mark of the Assasin :This is your MAIN damage spell. I suggest maxing this ability FIRST
Twilight Shroud :This is why people HATE versing akali. Using this spell will seperate the good akali players, from the BAD akali players.
Crescent Slash: A good aoe damage spell, Great for farming minions.
Shadow Dance :The way to get around the battlefield fast, to close in on enemies and has a short cooldown. AWESOME skill

I personally choose Igniteand flashbecause i believe these are great tools for escaoing and destroying enemies faster.

Other Optional Spells: Exhaust Ok if your versing a fast or high damage dealing champion
Ghost: Its ok but the slow from your rylais should be enough.
Cleanse: For hard CC on the enemy team

NEVER USE Revive: Just no
Clairvoyance: This is for your support
Surge: Why Riot?
Heal: Your spell vamp should be enough
