Introduction
It might not be much for a guide though this is my second published guide, but I'll give it a try.
Hope you get use of it.
Let's get to it!
Well, for my runes I chosen to have some magic penetration so that I can make some damage eventhough I don't have any abillity power (In late game I often have 4 AP).
Anyways, my runes are the following:
9 x Greater Mark of Insight
9 x Greater Seal of Resilience
9 x Greater Glyph of Shielding
3 x Greater Quintessence of Fortitude
This makes me pretty tanky early game and I still do some damage thanks to my magic penetration.

For items, I pick health regeneration to begin with because I find it very useful though you don't have to recall after some damage.
When I got enough money or when I die, I buy a Philosopher's Stone to make my health regeneration even better, and ofcourse my mana regeneration also.
After that I start building my boots, starting with the regelar Boots of Speed, and finishing it as a Boots of Swiftness.
These are my core items.
Next on is the Aegis of the Legion. This item is great. It gives me all the tanking stats (Magic Resist, Armor and Health) plus it gives all my nearby allies some defencive stats too.
After that I just keep on building what's neccesary. If my opponent team has alot of AP damagedealers I buy more magic resistance than armor. But mostly I try to balance my stats so I have alot of armor and magic resist aswell.
Let's go to the next step.
