The Beginning

Start off with the Amplifying Tome and a Health Potion along with your "E". People may complain but it pays off. Focus on hitting alot of minions plus any enemy champions you can with your abilities to maximize your Passive shield boost. In fact, focus your "E" on minions throughout the game since they provide you with that wonderful overshield. After some gold is earned, upgrade to Hextech Revolver for the extra damage but mainly the Spell Vamp and THEN go for your boots. No sense in not being mobile. And save your Summoner Spells for when your enemies push too far in and you are guaranteed a kill.

Rise to Power

After your boots you should be able to chase down/charge into battle well enough to earn enough gold from either minion or enemy kills to purchase the other two Hextech Revolvers, if not, Jungling should be easy enough for some quick cash. Hold back on getting the Gunblades yet considering they aren't cheap and you need some survivability so get ahold of a Giants Belt first and work your way into Rylais Crystal Scepter for Health, Spell Damage, and Slow. Next work on the Fiendish Codex half of Nashors Tooth for the cooldown reduction and AP it provides and jump into as many team battles as you can stand til you've saved up enough to finish the item off.

The Master of Metal

Hopefully you should be at Level 18 by the time you have your items full (if not then you've been fed like crazy) and you should be ready for the end game. Charge into any large mass of minions on the map and take part in as many team battles as needed to finish the Gunblades and remember to use its item ability to slow down your prey long enough for your own abilities to slow them as their health bar disappears in chunks at a time. Remember that despite the amount of awesome you now have, you cant solo more than TWO enemy champions at once safely unless of course they have a large enough supply of minions to feed your overshield, in which case, make them run in fear.
