You guys must think I'm crazy. AP TANK UDYR!?!??!!? I know. I am. But, it works so I put it out there so others can try it. He isn't really super squishy and does buttloads of damage with his Phoenix Stance. Also the spell vamp heals him with each of his Phoenix Attacks. So Phoenix + Turtle Stance = Unbeatable in a 1 v 1 Situation. I would suggest switching off between Phoenix and Turtle Stance in a team fight and remember to use your Bear Stance to stun annoying people like kat when she use her ult. But, to play on the safe side, it would be nice if your team had another tank.

Jungle Route

You must be thinking "What the Hell?!?!?! Boots to start off with in the Jungle?!?!?" Yes. Yes, I'm pro. It also lets you manuver around the jungle faster. Get by "R" ability (Phoenix Stance) then, you should grab boots and 2 health pots then head to the brush right next to the wraiths. At 1:40, Smite the big one then pop your "R" ability. After, head to the wolf camp and attack the big wolf and use your "R" ability again. After you kill the big wolf, you should be level 2, get your "W" ability (Turtle Stance) and use it, then pop a health pot. After that, head to the dual golems you should be at about 4 bars of HP left. Attack the first golem and wait til the other gets close to you then use your "R" ability, right when your passive starts to go away use your "W" ability to stack your passive and pop your other health pot. You should be on your second golem now, use your "W" ability again, and when you have enough mana for your "R" ability use it and kill the golem. You should be level 3. Then recall. Whatever happens after in the jungle depends on your team, if they need a gank or a lane hold. I usually go Blue Buff (Smite) --> Wolves ---> Wraiths ---> Red Buff (Smite) ---> Dual Golem. And ganks in between if needed.
