Spells:
Exhaust
Teleport
Ability Order
Mana Barrier (PASSIVE)
Blitzcrank Passive Ability
Introduction
This will give you the basic run down on what items i chose and why.
- I picked to use this first because if allows you to stay alive because of your mana shield in the beginning incase you get into a tight situation. Also, it enables you to use more spells in the beginning.
- Sheen is VERY VERY important. I buy this first because it is the most important between the Phage and Zeal used to build for Trinity force. This gives you more damage after you use your abilities.
- I start to build up speed next so i can actually catch up to people that try to run aaway from my Rocket Grab.
- I chose to buy the Ninja Tabi boots because it is good for Blitzcrank to have armor and the dodge couldn't hurt either. Now you could also go with Ionian Boots or Lucidity which lower your cool downs. Depending on what ever you prefer.
- This starts the build for the Phage.
- The Phage is important because it gives you more health to help you stay alive and attack damage. Having higher attack damage highly increases your damage from your Power Fist spell.
- This is the start for building the Zeal
- now you don't really need to buy this, it is just the last stepping stone for getting Trinity Force.
- Trinity force literally makes you the heavy hitter that you should be by time you're in mid game. You should be walking on top of everyone by now, even the tanks.
- This is to start the build towards the Frozen Heart. I chose to buy this before Chain Vest. Because you may become a little short on mana sometimes in your lane or team fights and this can hurt the team.
- another stage item to help build towards the Frozen Heart.
- This gives you a BIG mana increase and armor to help you stay alive in game. The big part about this is that it decreases your ability cool down. This means more Power Fist after you stun them from your Rocket Grab.
- these are the last steps to buying Frozen Heart.
- Now that you have this, your cool downs should enable you to deal high damage to everyone on the other team. Gives you good mana and armor.
- building towards Catalyst the Protector.
- building towards Catalyst the Protector.
- This gives you more mana and health.
- Raising your magic resistance by a pretty good chunk. Keeps you alive against the mages.
- This gives you a mana and health boost, but also raises your magic resitance by 50. Also the passive can come in handy. Blocking one enemy ability every 45 seconds.
Now from this point on. You can either go with building attack damage. Building more mana and armor. Or building up AP to make your Rocket Grab stronger.

The order you should be using your abilities in is VERY important.
Possibility 1 (mainly used in early game):
Possibility 2 (used when you have some cool down reduction so you can use your Power Fist twice before they can escape):
Possibility 3 (For when you're already in close combat):
You can improvise on these combos but they should be the main ones you should be using.

Exhaust: I always have exhaust with me because it is always needed. If they are running slow they can't dodge your Rocket Grab ability.
Teleport: Teleport is also very common for me. I live having the option to go where i please in an instant. This is soo you can move around the map to give support to your team mates.
Flash: This is also good for setting up an angle for Rocket Grab and escaping dangerous fights.

Rocket Grab: You can shoot your arm through obstacles. If someone is hiding behind a wall, just go through it.
Static Field: Enables you to attack champions while they are chasing you. The lightning that arcs off of BLitzcrank hits a random nearby enemy every 2.5 seconds. This usually leads to the enemy backing off after a couple hits of it.
