Annoying poke, high mobility, level 6 100-0 potential and that damned shroud. What's not to love? The best thing I would recommend running grasp ignite and just poking her into an all in when her w is down.
Darius
Most darius players start w and try to bully you so going w to pick up cs is the better option. If he goes q just start q yourself and smack him into a level 2 all in. Generally this matchup relies on you using your e when he wastes his and dodging his q. Do remember to NOT buy executioners or go ignite, since his q hitting alone wins the trade even through healing reduction. Do not dive into him when he hasn't used e since he will just pull you out of hookshot and ghost you down. At the end of the day, the best counter to him is chainganking him early when he isn't tanky.
Fiora
Too many buffs. Run ignite and grasp, stand near walls to maybe sneak in an e if she engages and generally try to poke her through your shield to force an all in. This matchup is a skill mathup through the whole game since you are both good at sidelaning, with all in opportunities for both sides.
Irelia
Due to the recent buffs, irelia is just a ticking time bomb of a matchup. You can trade with her early, take solo kills and it still wouldn't matter once she completes botrk and runs you down. I would recomend to just ignore her until ignite is up and then just try to spam all in whenever it's off cooldown
Jax
Don't be a smartass, even if ignite improves your odds and being able to play near walls to e when he counterstrikes, jax can still outscale you on all stages of the game while being impossible to dive into safely without having the jungle diff. Just ban him
Malphite
Cometphite is the deffiniton of pain. Run d. shield second wind and hope you will be able to bully him hard enough early game. After he starts putting enough points in his q the matchup becomes bordeline unplayable if you aren't monstrously ahead. Try to force him on side if possible since he outscales you in teamfights.
Renekton
Due to the ignite setup, this matchup has become easier to play, but not neccesarily easy. His w removes your shield when empowered, so playing around his cooldowns and fury bar is essential. If he isn't insanely behind when he hits 6, straight up ignore him since him pressing r is enough to oneshot you, especially if you are the one to dive on him. Try to abuse him early and hope you aren't on weakside.
Riven
Too mobile, too strong. Still a skill matchup though. Playing around her cooldowns (does she even have any?) is the only way to win trades consistently. Other than that, just stick to walls and if you are struggling too much against her start running ignite.
Shen
Impossible to all-in level 1 and if he is good enough, you probably won't kill him for the entirety of the lane. if he is running ignite, play passively and try to match his ult or just take plates if the fight doesn't matter. If he is going tp the matchup is more managable but harder to get resources out of. Try to judge whether his ult is worth cancelling or if he is just using it for the shield, since diving into him can force you into a bad fight.
Aatrox
Run ignite and smack him early. As long as you respect his ability to lock you down with his w, you should be able to kite his q's by just standing on top of him. Respect his level 6. You outscale him hard so just farming if you are weakside is a good choice.
Wukong
Respect him level 1, since he can smack you quite hard. Level 6 he is also super hard to not get destroyed by. Generally though playing around his cooldowns and getting off good hookshots is the key to winning this matchup.
Rengar
Play away from bushes. Respect his ability to destroy you in trades and jsut try to poke him with your shield. You hard outscale him and can gank him super easily when he is pushing in and getting any advantage can end the game for him if you can push him under tower and away from bushes, so just be patient.
Urgot
Respect his level 1 since if he starts e he can win the lane easily. After level 3 you can easily destroy him by walking up to q him, dodging the e and just all-inning him. After 6 you should try to dodge his e with your ult since most urgots will chain their ult on the e stun. He hard outscales you late so he can be challenging to side lane into, so playing around in 5v5's properly is really important when facing him.
